The best breakfast in Red Lodge. Have lived in the area for 7 years and this is my favorite. Picks are the French Toast and French Scrambled Eggs with cream cheese and dill. They also have delish Hueveos Rancheros and Biscuits and Gravy. They are open until 2pm and you get breakfast all the way til then (yay for me!). I am from Chicago, live in Portland, and have lived in Boulder and Bozeman; all amazing food destinations. I consider this to be one of the best breakfast spots anywhere. Cafe Regis uses local and organic ingredients whenever possible; they have a small organic garden from which they gather eggs, fruits and vegetables. I went for breakfast with a friend. The huevos rancheros with pork chili verde was delicious, however I was shocked by their lack of service ensuring that our coffee was replenished. They brought the initial cup and after that, a server never came back to the table with a coffee carafe in hand. I had to make eye contact with a server on multiple occasions. Once finished another server took our plates but no one brought the check or offered additional coffee/water. I had to go up to the counter to request the check. It was probably wrong of me, but I still tipped 15% for subpar service. read more

I am not a breakfast person at all, but this little cafe is great. The outdoor seating is great, and is like having breakfast in your own back garden. Hidden behind Regis Grocer, both are gems in the area. They do the hole organic, local farmers thing. Though they don't flaunt that in everyones face for fake praise or hype. They do if because it tastes better. The service is always great. Very personable and chatty. The omelettes are amazing. The Popeye with spinich, feta cheese, and a bunch of other stuff is one of my favorites. They also have one with baked brie. I think they have a lunch menu as well, though their breakfast can feed you for a hole day. A great little gem, that boarders on 5 stars for me. I really want to go back. read more

Food is awesome service is hit and miss. Today we sat outside and waited 20 min for an order She came by and said well these guys were here before you. Hmm. That wierd I watched them come in well after us through the back gate with their dog. Ok. Well we ordered and my mother gets her Blat. It came in on toasted bread instead of the crescent she said. I was ready for a good breakfast this morning and found Cafe Regis. It's tucked away off the main drag right next to a cool. Very relaxing little cafe! Menu is excellent. We had the Juavos Rancheros and the breakfast burritos. Both were delicious and filling! Would love to come back and try some other items on the menu! read more

Ate at Cafe Regis while in town for a hike. It's a nice little place.. it's more cafe than grocery. They do have some food items for sale but it's not extensive. Their food is very good though. I had the biscuits and gravy with eggs and a side of bacon. Everything was good. Portion wise I'd say it was just right. I'd eat there again. Their coffee was very very good. read more

Went in, sat down, and waited for awhile with no acknowledgement at all by two different waitresses. They instead cleared a table by us and ignored us. After 10 minutes we walked out. This place gets great reviews but the service sucks. We have eaten there on other trips but never had good service, and always have a long wait for food. At least they can acknowledge a customer by saying they will be with us shortly. No need to patronize this place, I will go elsewhere. read more
