Salmon wrap with cup of split pea soup.

Very good selections and prices. We enjoyed our lunch. Salmon wrap with a side of cup of soup, and grilled chicken breast sandwich. We'd return if in the area.

One of the many outdoor plants.

Everything was amazing! A little nugget in Red Lodge. This will definitely be my new go to place . Lovely outdoor area with beautiful flowers, server did an amazing job, very friendly.

Became addicted to this sauce we'd never heard of! Now it's on repeat on our Amazon orders.

Great food in an old grocery store. We stop here for breakfast frequently on the drive between Cody and Absarokee. Service is fast and the food is reliably good. If you're coming from Absarokee take Airport Rd to avoid downtown Red Lodge during tourist season (unless you're a tourist ).

Outside seating in August!

Great food and service! Lots of servers who pay attention to the details! The food was exceptional and was served in a timely fashion.

There's nothing "grocery" about this spot. Ignore the second half of the name over the door. It's all cafe. And what a spot it is. From the wood floors, big windows, garden seating -- complete with wild turkeys on patrol -- chalkboard of daily specials, Cafe Regis doesn't pretend to be anything other than what it is: a family friendly stop with interesting twists in classic menu items. A few things on the menu looked interesting, but the French Scramble was calling my attention for some reason with its green onions, dill and cream cheese mix. It was tasty and served with the fruit salad, a nicely balanced choice to get the day started without needing a nap first. My only "ding" was getting charged for coffee when I didn't have any. I think the waitstaff is so used to having customers order a meal with a beverage they automatically add it to the bill without thinking. It was a nearly three dollar extra, but I didn't press it because it was otherwise a good experience, and, Christmas Eve didn't seem like an appropriate time to forego the "goodwill to all" theme. I look forward to trying this place out again, though.

This place was absolutely charming. Had a lovely breakfast in the garden, the weather was perfect and warm. The flowers were gorgeous to look at. The food was delicious and they offer so many options.

Table full of breakie. Lots of coffee!

Cutest little country kitchen i've ever been to. Tucked away just outside the east entrance of…read moreYellowstone is a tiny little town of Silver Gate and this lovely little Log Cabin Cafe . My wife and I mistakenly drove 45 minutes or so in the wrong direction , left the park thinking we would loop back to yellowstone lake and back down to the Grand Tetons.... turned into a happy accident because we had a great breakfast at the log cabin cafe. Very small menu but everything is scratch made with love. The thick cut house made hash browns are the best ever, the waitress said they soak the potatoes in a brine and you can taste the love!!. My wife ordered the french toast and it was excellent! This tiny little spot is literally a log cabin and has some nice taxidermy and all the country charm you could ask for. Location is incredible, surrounded by majestic mountain scenery. If you are visiting lamar valley to check out the Bison , do yourself a favor and get lost like we did and go to silver gate for breakfast or lunch!! Our server was a very sweet young lady who was very pleasant. Loved your restaurant , Thank you !!

A decent place to start your day in the Yellowstone NP! They are a family owned business and have…read morebeen around for a long time. It was really lovely choosing to eat here - the interior of the place will take you back ages as its fully made of wooden logs with bears staring down at you while you eat :D We had hot brewed coffee (with unlimited refills), the French toast served with fresh fruit (which was of right portion and very good) and the blueberry pancakes (which were really big portions and would ideally be enough for 2 people). While we were dining, we were also entertained by the owner in some interesting trivia facts about Silver Gate and Soda Butte creek etc. Would highly recommend this place if you are visiting Yellowstone! (tip: they are a few minutes away from Cooke City, MT which has a nice espresso place)
