Good food at good prices in Fort Langley Great for families - they have a high chair for your child and nice sized booths to fit everyone. I had the Club Sandwich and clam chowder which was as expected. I would come again!

This 50s diner is good if you want just that...a 50s diner atmosphere. From the tables to the personal jukebox style music selection, it's authentic to that time period. Also, the hamburgers, which come with salad or fries, are very reasonably priced. We got them for 7.99 an order, the base price. The burgers are just standard grill burgers, but you have the option to add toppings & varied flavors. A nice Sunday afternoon stop if you want a casual environment.

James Dean burger (single bacon cheeseburger with fries) eh it's ok.

Ok burgers and fries. I do like the decorations and various memorabilia. I can't say too much about the food. It was ok. I wish we had gone venturing more cuz there were more places to eat in other portions of the town. The service was good and prompt. We didn't have to wait long at all for our food. I had the James Dean burger and my wife had the Elvis burger ( cheeseburger). Not impressive. You'd think with names like that you'd get some sort of monstrosity or at least something creative right like their namesake? Nah. Too bad.

Not amazing, long wait and food is just bland. The burgers are nothing special and definitely not worth the money.

There was an hour wait to get food I would best describe as a motel's attempt at pub dining. Anything that sounds like it needs more thought to it than deep frying should be ignored. Lemon pancakes shouldn't mean lemon slime squirted onto two cold pseudo crepes. Pork belly can't be treated like bacon and a latke is absolutely not a frozen potato patty from Costco. The waitstaff are fine... people need jobs. The location is nice. But the food is dirtshit, cold, and desperately wants to be expensive.

Visited: February 3, 2026 at 3:00 PM…read more People were left waiting at the door for several minutes even though the place was nowhere near busy. Service was extremely slow from the start--waiting far too long just to order a beer and food. 3 people working the front and less than 20 customers. One of the waitresses was walking around with a baby, and both servers spent a noticeable amount of time sitting at their own table eating while customers were waiting. The food was just as disappointing. The salt & pepper wings tasted completely plain, even after asking for them to be re-tossed. The carrots were soggy and honestly disgusting. Everything took forever despite there being almost no one in the restaurant. Would not give me sauce without paying extra. Staff seemed more interested in mingling with themselves and a few regulars than actually doing their jobs. I was seated right in the middle of the restaurant and still felt ignored. To top it off, staff were openly making fun of people on the patio who were complaining about the wings--which says a lot. PS Don't get the wings. Overall, this was not a good experience at all. Poor service, bad food, and an unprofessional atmosphere. I won't be back.

Oh my gosh, we were out this way, without much breakfast had, so looking for brunch-ish? Ronny's was outstanding! We missed the lunch rush I think, more were leaving than coming in, but I'd say they do a good lunch, or people wouldn't be there. Did I mention they are out of the way a bit? Don't let that deter you, go there, and you'll be like us, will find a way to decide, we need to go to Maple Ridge! I love the interior with a splash of Italia, but decor is full of understanding what the purpose is. It's about feeding people in the traditional sense. You can eat in, take away ready, or take it home warm it up and feed your family. How refreshing it is for us that love the old world mindset. K's Chef's Special with fries was so good. The fries remained hot until the last one was devoured, how do they do that? She ate half the sandwich and had to box the other half. My borscht side with my Turkey BL sandwich was so good I also brought a half sandwich home. I could have finished it, but we would have had to stop for a nap prior to getting all the way home. This might surprise those that have read this far, but we are going back for sure, and you should find a reason to do the same.

I loved the crispy exterior with the sea salt on top, and the inside was so pillowy and buttery - then topped with the blue cheese butter... yum! So good. For my entree, I ordered the truffle tenderloin steak and my dining partner had the ahi tuna. We also added the Brussels sprouts and Brie mashed potatoes to share. A really cool feature is they bring over a selection of steak knives that you can choose from. I really love this concept and whoever thought that up is a genius. I chose a gorgeous, elegant-looking knife with a handle that looked like mother of pearl. The steak was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had. They shave black truffle directly on the steak when it's served, which adds such a nice richness. The sauce is also one of the better sauces I've had on a steak. It was so tempting to want to lick the plate! It was a cooked to a perfect medium rare and so tender. It's been a long time since I was really blown away by a great steak, but this just hit the mark in every way. The Brussels sprouts were great, but there was something in the dish that was a bit odd - almost like wasabi or something. It wasn't bad, it just had a kick that I wasn't expecting and made me cough a little bit. The potatoes were creamy and buttery but I did think the Brie flavour wasn't coming through enough. Maybe because all the other flavours on my plate were pretty strong. I didn't try the tuna but it looked beautiful and apparently tasted just as good. We finished off with a couple of desserts: the beehive pavlova and the crème brûlée, the latter being my typical go-to dessert. Unfortunately, I didn't really care for the salted caramel flavour here, but can't really put my finger on what exactly I didn't enjoy as I normally love salted caramel. One bite was enough for me. It looked amazing, though. I did enjoy the pavlova, but it wasn't a traditional style as it had ice cream inside instead of whipped cream. It was more like a baked Alaska without the flame. The flavours were good on this dessert, but I probably wouldn't order it again as I was really craving the more traditional pavlova. Service was good, but we did wait quite a long time after being seated before placing our order, and then waited again after dessert before getting our bill. We weren't in a hurry, but I think we were there for over 3 hours. Still a very enjoyable meal and I would definitely return for the steak alone.

Sidebar Grill - Yakitori was not great. None of the sauces had any taste.

Food: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5…read moreService: 2.5/5 We came here with my family to celebrate a birthday (6 of us total) on a Sunday afternoon and found it overall to be just ok. Even though the restaurant was mostly empty, everything took a really long time! The waitress (there looked to only be one for the whole restaurant) took a long time to come grab our drink orders then our mains, and the food took a long time to come as well. 5/6 of the dishes had come for around 10-15min before we had to flag down a waiter to remind them to bring the 6th one out which was unfortunate as that person started eating later than the rest of us. The fries were also all cold and we had to ask for new ones (which also took a long time to arrive). One positive point to mention here was that everyone was very nice throughout the whole experience. As for the food itself it was overall pretty good. The happy hour menu had a good selection to choose from and everyone seemed pretty happy with their meal choices (baja tacos, clam chowder, chicken strips, chicken ceaser wrap). I got the grilled cheese which came with a vodka sauce side and it was yummy but not worth the $17 (especially since it didn't come with a side). The bistro salad I ordered on the side was good though! Overall it would have ranked higher had the service scuffles and slowness not occurred, but I would say it's very average pub food at best.

There were very few patrons in the at 1:45 so we expected to have a quick lunch. We were seated quickly by the hostess, and there we sat. After about three minutes she brought water glasses and a jug, which we asked for. We then sat another four minutes, possibly five until our server came by to ask if we wanted a beverage. Almost 10 minutes waiting is not good at any time, but especially when the place is basically empty. K ordered the steak frites and I got the Yakitori chicken with sesame noodle salad, along with the extra skewer. Again the food took quite some time, did I mention it was not busy! The steak was properly cooked medium rare, but it as well as the fries were not hot, in fact barely warm. The fries were sent back, but K kept the steak as a refire would bring it back after I had finished eating my Yakitori. As for my food, it was bland at best, no sesame to be found and the coleslaw had barely any dressing. The skewers were wildly uneven in size (see photo) and tasted like nothing at all. Our server was very apologetic but there really is no excuse for poor food especially when they are not busy at all. They took 50% off the steak frites, and provided us with a coupon for a free appy, which is fine, but it shouldn't be happening. Very disappointing to say the least.
