I love the food and coffee here and I have been a customer for a long long time but today was the LAST time I will ever go. They have a loaf of bread there that makes amazing French toast and my daughter absolutely loves it and it normally cost 7.50- 8.50 with taxes but the lady there today charge my daughter 20$ for a loaf missing a good portion off the ends! When I called to talk to a manager she was rude and keep denying the old price stating " we never sold it buy the loaf" and " I've been here a long time I have never seen that". So because of her salty attitude and the fact that she went straight to arguing with me instead of trying to at least work something out or try to explain the situation or the reason for the increase in price to 20$ ( for a small loaf ) I will never EVER go back and neither will my daughter or friends and family that know that they use to sell it like that. They lost a lot of business do to their managers actions, and attuidue today she was rude and I am appalled at how awful their business practices have gotten, and how sh*tty the people they hired are. read more

I would love to (and have) support my local coffee shop, but the service, high prices and cleanliness has me going less and less. I love the coffee quality, I can't even go to the local chains anymore, but the owner really needs to take a step back and look at her business from a customer perspective. Please wash the couch covers, sweep the floor, clean the bathroom, cover the holes in the walls, train your staff to be friendly (or fake it), lower your prices a bit and ask your regular customers their name! I really want to come back regularly, but am taking a break. read more

A bit pricey but they make great drinks. The food is alright, but the best thing they offer is their hot chocolate. It's a really nice place to hang out in the mornings but the afternoon gets a little busy with high schoolers pouring in and out. Cozy atmosphere. read more

Great lattes, love the organic coffee. Tasty pastry's. Staff is super friendly. Great location on the Town Green, very relaxing to go in the afternoon and sit outside. Great location on the square. I come here often to get some work done. Plenty of natural light. They serve my favorite coffee in the area, Taylor Maid (organic). I don't usually order food here as the menu is limited, but the bagel and cream cheese is good, and the pastries look pretty good. Careful in the bathroom -- the sink is missing a washer and if you turn it on full blast it will get you right in the wrong place! Still, I love this local business. read more

It's hard to get less than 5 stars from me at a coffee shop. You have to really be blowing it if you can't make decent coffee and breakfast food to go. I'd rather give this place my money than Starbucks any day. Nice people working, food looked fresh and yummy even though I didn't have any. Made me one of the best cafe au lait with almond milk! (Yes they get 5 stars for carrying almond milk) it seems like the community really likes to hang out here, all the tables were full, people were playing cards, hanging with their families. Loved it. Beautifully made, organic Taylor Maid espresso drinks, the microfoam latte art has me dreaming at night until I can wake up and sip my cappuccino! Warm local feel for relaxing, meeting friends, getting work done. Some good pastries too! I especially like the 8oz. Espresso drinks: nice and strong, at a great price to keep you going all day, though I often come back in the afternoon to treat myself for the ride home. The 2 gal barristas have it down 100% for consistently impressive espresso drinks. There has also been less wait time than previously, which helps when time is an issue. read more

Besides the stale cakes, and so so java, I must say that the owner Margaret is not exactly a people person. I wandered into Cafe Noto when in Sonoma County visiting a friend, and was appalled to witness the public chastisement of an employee. I mean...the woman had this young lady in tears. I won't be visiting this mediocre establishment again any time soon. I only caught the owner's name because said employee used it in response to whatever she was being scolded about. Best coffee in Windsor if you ask me! Way better than Starbucks down the road and nice to know it's locally owned. I've been coming here for years and have experienced the ups and downs from when it first opened under a different owner who made the best espresso's ever! When it switched hands it went downhill but since then it has really gotten the art of making coffee down much better. Not as consistent as Acre in Montgomery Village or Flying Goat in Healdsburg, but pretty darn good. Plus, the atmosphere is really homey and inviting and there's a bathroom on premises. Also a cute little outdoor seating area. I like this place. The owner is very kind too. read more

I've live down the street from Noto for the last 5 years. There has never been an unpleasant experience. There are just as many varieties of coffee as any other place, with the addition of food varieties such as bagels, donuts, yogurt, breakfast burritos, juices. They offer you newspapers and local tabloids and plenty of room to sit and stretch. Constantly "chill" and friendly, this cafe is one of the gems of Windsor. read more

By far the best coffee shop in Sonoma County. Anyone who hasn't tried BLACK OAK the new coffee the business has decided to use is missing out! Each time I come here I get an iced caramel vanilla latte and NEVER am disappointed. The beans are the most smooth coffee I've ever tasted. Came in here today and decided to try the egg, cheese, potato breakfast burrito as usual the food does not disappoint and tasted amazing! The wait staff is always friendly and smiling which is a bonus! This place really knows what it's doing with the high quality food and drinks. All their food is HOMEMADE. Came back after a poor experience a few months ago and what a difference! It's so clean! Looks and smells clean and is more organized! Very friendly staff and easy to read menu. I work near Cafe Noto, so going there is very convienient. The staff seems a little immature, unorganized and ditzy, but that seems to be the norm these days. I keep swearing the place off but my coworkers want to frequent the place, so I go along. I've gotten the wrong order, wrong change, been forgotten, and had many other unpleasant experiences. The lastest treat was a bagel and cream cheese to go, and when I opened the bag at my office to have my breakfast the bagel was burnt to a crisp. I don't think my server would have eaten it, so why would he think I would? Nothing like charcoal and cream cheese for breakfast. If you want friendly service, coffee and food, go to Starbucks up the street. read more

This place let me down. It's pretty popular so I went with some friends but the coffee isn't good, the service is dry and everything is very overpriced. The coffee isn't very strong and is very acidic and sour, which I personally do not like. I like strong smooth coffee. Also the service and attitude of the people is not very friendly or inviting. Lastly, the prices are way too high! A bagel is around 3.50 and you have to pay an extra 1.50 for cream cheese. Would not recommend to anyone to go here unless you want to waste money. read more

A good place to sit and have coffee on a weekend while reading a book, using their wifi or chatting with friends. I do have to say that when they are busy on the weekends the quality of the coffee goes down as I have had good coffee and some that was just (for lack of a better word) meh when they are dealing with the morning rush. They really need to improve their barista skills and service when the lines start forming. I do think their prices are too high for the inconsistency and the quality. Also, the sign behind the counter that prohibits customers from coming in with anything that has logos (referring to Starbucks) is unnecessary and a little insulting to costumers. read more

The drink they call "2 Dollar Tom" is the best espresso deal outside Italy. A double shot of good espresso and a small amount of steamed milk, topped with really dense foam and, depending on who is working, a little barista art. read more

I am often disappointed in the inconsistency of the drinks. My iced latte, this morning, tasted like milk and not coffee. It's frustrating when paying over $4 for a drink. I wish they would train their barista's how to pull shots correctly. read more

Cafe Noto is Coffee house that serves Taylor Maid Farms Organic Coffee. They also have amazing cakes & pastries from Cavaliers bakery .They make great mochas and Lattes,complete with foam art. (Something you won't find at a Starbucks) They have lots of comfortable indoor seating and nice outdoor patio. They offer FREE Wi-Fi too! This is a great place to come with a book or just to come hangout with some family or friends. read more
