Don't sleep on the fries either, cooked in beef tallow bringing out a wonderful flavor. The cocktails we got, French 75 for my wife and a Moscow Mule for me, were mixed perfectly with a great balance. Come here for the food and stay for the conversation. The entire staff was a pleasure to interact with. If you're from the big city, this is exactly what you're missing. You'll want to be a part of this wonderful town after visiting. We ordered the Farmhouse breakfast with biscuits and sausage, a kids' Farmhouse with pancakes, and breakfast tacos. Nearly 45 minutes passed before our food arrived. During that time, my coffee never came, and no one checked on our table. When the food finally arrived, my order was wrong. I received toast instead of biscuits and bacon instead of sausage. Lauren apologized and said she would bring the correct items, but they didn't arrive until we had already finished eating. To make matters worse, when I asked to speak with the manager, no manager could be found. I understand that restaurants can get busy, and I'm usually very patient. What was most frustrating wasn't just the wait, but the lack of communication, urgency, and basic customer service throughout the meal.
