Came here about 3 years ago when my kid was a baby and remembered it being so good had to go back and my next trip to Philadelphia. The memory did not disappoint! I'm not sure you can go wrong with anything to the point that I literally googled if they had a Michelin star (apparently not awarded in Philly) but I did find out this place is ranked #30 in yelps top 100 breakfast spots in the US. The coffee is phenomenal and the food tastes like heaven. If you have any shred of doubt if you should eat here, stop wasting time and go go go!!!!!! Staff is lovely too. Can't wait to come back!!!

Manager was friendly and accommodating on a busy Sunday afternoon. Good air conditioning on a hot day. Large portions. High protein plates.

We stopped in for brunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The short rib perfectly complimented not only the sauce, but the vegetables (I'm not a mushroom fan, and yet I gobbled them right up) mixed with the potatoes mixed with the additional sauces were a hit with my tastebuds. The coffee was fresh and bold, and my friends hot chocolate was flavorful as all get out. My only issue was the servers....they walked up and said "what can I get you?".....A GREETING!! Snark aside- I'll be back!

I stopped by on a Saturday morning before 10am. Street parking was easy to find nearby. There were several open tables at that hour. Service was quick and friendly. The red shakshuka was absolutely incredible. It was nicely presented. All of the ingredients complemented each other. The tomato sauce was very tasty and the beef was delicious. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The pita was soft and warm, and didn't crumble when holding it. Highly recommended!

Came here for breakfast on a weekday to meet a friend and was utterly charmed by the atmosphere and the food. Got the green shakshuka and normally I find green tomatoes to be too sour but everything was balanced beautifully and it was so healthy and delicious. Such friendly service and not too crowded on a weekday.

I've been coming to this brunch spot in Northern Liberties for years, and they seriously never disappoint. Whenever friends or family visit me from out of state, this is always the first brunch place I bring them. It's first come, first serve (no reservations), so definitely go early if you don't want to wait too long, but I promise it's worth it. Their coffee and lattes are so good. They have a big menu with both savory and sweet options, so there's something for everyone. My absolute favorite is the red velvet tiramisu pancake, it's so unique and delicious. Honestly, everything I've tried here has been amazing. You really can't go wrong. The staff is always attentive and the service is quick. The inside has a nice, cozy vibe, and the outdoor seating is great too when the weather is nice. Highly recommend this place for brunch. It's one of my go-to spots in Philly!

Finally - I made my way back to Cafe La Maude for the first time in years. It was even better than I imagined. Granted, I sat outside the the covered and heated patio instead of indoors, but that didn't take away from the experience for me. I was cozy and comfortable in the space for our meal. The service was fine, a bit chaotic because of the weekend brunch, but all in all well attended. We had the shawarma platter, the ananas salad, and the entrecote omelette. For beverages a regular hot coffee and a dirty chai. Everything spot on. Absolutely delicious. Very filling. I think all of the food could be shared but if you're super hungry, like we were, you can finish and eat it all. So much flavor in everything. This is why time and time again, when you want a meal that leaves you happy, full and feeling good - Cafe La Maude is it.

Atmosphere: I really enjoyed my time at Café La Maude. Although the restaurant appears small from the outside, it's surprisingly spacious inside, with plenty of tables and additional seating in the back. We went for weekday brunch, and the timing was perfect since there was no wait at all. Food: We decided to try savory rather than sweet brunch options. We ordered the Red Shakshuka, which came with Lebanese beef sausage, fingerling potatoes, and eggs. I had the Short Ribs Benny, featuring pulled short ribs sautéed with peppers, onions, mushrooms, and potato hash, topped with two perfectly poached eggs. The portions were generous, and the food was incredibly filling! You'll definitely have enough for takeaway. Service: The service was quick and friendly. Overall, I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try.

One of my favorite breakfast places in the city. We're so lucky we can walk here. Food and service is amazing. Their menu is a very unique combination of French Lebanese cuisine. Green shakshuka, baklava pancakes are on my repeat order. It has very cute and cozy vibes inside. They're dog friendly outside. Their servers and owner are all very friendly and welcoming.

This was a very cute brunch spot that my friend and I tried out. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and quick to help us and top off our waters. I wish I could've ordered the baklava pancakes for myself but was worried about the types of nuts being used since I can't have certain ones. I don't think I would return since a lot of menu items contains nuts without specifying exactly what types of nuts are used. But I'd recommend it to anyone else who doesn't have to worry about food allergies!

Ordered: Cortado (~$4) Petit Steak (~$23): 2 sunny-side-up eggs, thinly sliced steak, potato hash, onions, green peppers, cream sauce, truffle oil & reduced balsamic vinaigrette Brisket Huevos Rancheros (~$22): flour tortillas stuffed w/pulled beef brisket, cheddar cheese served with beans in a chunky tomato sauce, sour cream, potatoes, 2 sunny-side-up eggs, sweet pepper aioli, guacamole, crispy tortilla chips Aya's take: Come for the food, stay for the Lebanese hospitality! Cafe La Maude is one of the most rated breakfast & brunch spots in Philly, so I knew this had to be spot on our most recent day trip. Being Lebanese myself, I was happy seeing some Lebanese classics on the menu but also some unique dishes. We ordered the Petit Steak and the Brisket Huevos Rancheros which were recommended by the owner & our waiter. Although they weren't their more Lebanese dishes, I was impressed! The Petit Steak isn't the prettiest but the flavors are delicious. The steak was tender and well-seasoned (similar to shawarma seasonings), the potato hash was crispy and paired well with the cream sauce. The sunny-side-up eggs were perfectly cooked and the yolks soaked into the other ingredients. The Brisket Huevos Rancheros was nicely plated and loaded with flavors. This is definitely a shareable dish! The pulled beef brisket was smoky, lightly sweet, and tender. The sunny-side-up eggs paired well with these and I even enjoyed the guacamole and crispy tortilla chips. The Cortado was also delicious, well-made, and gave me the caffeine kick I needed. It's definitely chaotic and you might have to wait for a table, but for good reason! I love the energy, hospitality, and warmness of the staff. Really great spot!

Green shashuka $21.50 was amazing. Lots of delicious veggies. The French bread slices were good, but would have been even better with sourdough slices. A bread that would have been more hardier to stand up to the sauce as my bread dissingrated into nothing when dipped. My server said that the red shashuka is really good as well. Potentially better than the green one, however, I wanted more veggies in my dish. I was seated indoors with the windows wide open. I would recommend coming there on weekday mornings if possible. I was seated immediately upon waiting for a minute outside.

I'll round up to 5 from 4.5 stars. The only knock I'm giving them is that they don't have a reservation system and won't seat you without your whole party present. Overall, service was kind, prompt, and the food came out scary fast (but that's not a complaint!) As a table, we got the shawarma platter, the baklawa pancakes, the crispy potatoes (fries), iced chai, latte, and a pineapple juice. The shawarma platter was so tasty! I thought the meat was very well seasoned and I loved that rice it came with. They have a house hot sauce on the table that tied nicely with the platter. The crispy potatoes were also great. They came with a saffron aioli that was addicting. The baklawa pancakes were too sweet for my taste but they were still tasty. All in all, I would come again. I have had the green shakshuka in the past and that's also delicious. The ambiance is similar vibes to diner/cafe, quick and friendly service! I recommend you check it out and that you plan to go before the brunch rush.

We have eaten at the high tops, in the main dining room, and at the tables extending into The Harper lobby, and each area feels like part of the same unified experience. The colors and lighting inside are especially warm and inviting, giving the room a glow that feels cozy and uplifting, especially during a Philadelphia winter. Food remains at the center of the experience, and my order is always the Jerusalem bagel with egg and cheese. On the rare occasions when turkey bacon appears, I add it as a welcome delicacy and a little extra sustenance, though the bagel is already delicious on its own. The cinnamon sugar kubaneh, the chocolate chip cookie, and the Bloody Mary are excellent. K'Far has also expanded its selection of bowls and salads since we ate here most regularly, and they look consistent with the quality of everything else. These days, a full breakfast here does not always fit within our budget, but I still make a point of stopping in for OX Coffee, which is delicious and, happily, roasted in Philadelphia. The Yemenite latte is another distinctive pleasure, aromatic and satisfying without feeling like a novelty created merely for attention. The staff is consistently charming, welcoming, and composed, and the team's continuity and energy suggest that people genuinely enjoy working here. When our budget allows, I will absolutely return to eat. Perhaps the clearest expression of K'Far's brilliance arrives in one memory from a cold, radiantly sunny Saturday, when "Inspector Norse" by the Norwegian producer Todd Terje comes through the speakers as the restaurant buzzes around us. The track, the worldly crowd, and the aroma from the kitchen create the elusive feeling Steve Cook and Mike Solomonov understand so well: people go out to eat because they want to feel seen and be briefly transported into a more vivid version of life. I already love K'Far and The Hoxton as separate brands, so seeing them come together at The Hoxton in Williamsburg feels like an unusually natural and exciting partnership. Creating this kind of social magnetism inside a bakery and café is a subtle achievement, and Philadelphia is richer for having a place with this much flavor, warmth, and personality.

I ordered the House Angus Burger with sweet potato fries. It was solid, flavorful, and definitely filling. My friend got the Bella Vista Omelet with home fries, and we both agreed that while the food was good, it felt like standard brunch fare rather than anything particularly memorable. Based on the long wait and the hype surrounding Sabrina's, I think we were expecting the food to really stand out. In my opinion, the dishes we tried were comparable to what you'd find at a quality chain brunch spot like First Watch. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the food was satisfying, but it didn't quite justify the lengthy wait. That said, the menu has plenty of more unique and creative options that we didn't try. I'd be open to coming back and ordering one of those specialty dishes next time. Overall, I left satisfied with the meal and service.
