We loved both of our dishes but the Belgian Waffle did steal the show. It was probably the best Belgian Waffle I have ever tasted. The burrito was also good. Loved the OJ as you just can't beat freshly squeezed. Service was helpful but not too over the top. The space is small but there are quite a few tables if you come early. This place is easy to locate in downtown Ft. Bragg and parking is on the street. I would definitely recommend and return here again.

We felt pretty uncomfortable doing this, but again, I didn't want to eat sticky stuff in my car. The pastries were pretty good, I would say my chai latte was not very good though. I am glad I asked for my drink in a to go cup because I got to finish it on the road, which I would not have been able to do if I was made to take it in a glass.

I watched the girl pour mine, and she did one pour to fill the cup, then dumped out the rest of the steamed soy milk (what a waste!) and then did one quick terrible scoop of the foam, which leaves a ton of foam on there. The correct way to do it -- as I've seen Starbucks managers train employees to do -- is to fill the cup using the spoon to hold back as much foam as possible, then use the spoon to scoop the foam off the top (this is where most Starbucks stop and don't take extra steps). THEN pour more of the steamed milk into the cup (again using spoon to hold back foam), and then scoop again -- and keep doing this until the cup is full, and there is NO foam (about three times). So you see, if you prematurely dump out your steamed milk and waste it, you cannot achieve this final foam-free cup. And that is what they did here, was waste the steamed milk, and give me a cup full of an entire inch+ of foam on top. Yuck. I even told the girl this better way to do it, and she smiled and said "Yes, that's the best way." So then, why didn't she do it? On a positive note, after I proceeded to remove the foam myself, the drink underneath was delicious. Also, the Spicy Falafel Pockets are not listed on their menu inside, I had to ask if they carried them at this location since it wasn't listed. They do. And these are super delicious! So good, we went back in to order a second round of them. Luckily they had enough, but you know... that's probably because you can't sell what's not listed on your menu. People won't know about them! So I advise you ensure they are advertised. Also of note, the second time we went back in to order more Spicy Falafel Pockets, they set the paper bags in a puddle of coffee from someone else's cup... Why set our food in a mess like that? Overall, delicious. But your training needs improvement (how to ensure no foam) and not setting customer food in liquid messes, and your menus need to include what you offer.

This is especially serious because we cannot eat spicy food due to gastrointestinal medical issues. This was not simply a matter of preference--the restaurant gave us food that we could not safely eat because of a medical condition. The burrito was therefore completely inedible for us. Even worse, I bit down on a large, hard piece of bone the size of a quarter in my carnitas taco and nearly cracked my teeth. A bone of this size in prepared meat poses a legitimate risk of injury and is completely unacceptable. I could have choked on it! After a four-hour trip to vacation out of town in Mendocino & Fort Bragg for my hubby's birthday, this was supposed to be our first meal of the day. Instead, we received an incorrect meal we could not safely eat and another item that could have caused a dental injury or choking hazard. Given the incorrect order, medical concern, and serious food safety issue, a refund was warranted. The steak torta was the only "edible" thing but it was a little bland and not worth the hype--took only two bites out of it and chucked the rest (I guess we're just a little spoiled from all the amazing Elk Grove food establishments). So if you think this is the best Mexican food in town, think again. Get outside the box and go to ELK GROVE, CA and expect your minds to be blown in the land of the foodies. With that, not only was "Super Tortas" a pale comparison, the experience here was unacceptable, and we will not be returning or recommending this establishment. 0 stars if I could.

Yes, that's a lot of food! Everything was prepared and presented beautifully, and the portions were exactly what we expected for what we ordered. More importantly, the food tasted as good as it looked--which, believe it or not, isn't always the case. My wife and I enjoy ordering a variety of dishes so we can experience different flavors throughout the meal. We usually end up taking quite a bit home because we rarely come close to finishing everything. This time, though, we ate almost everything at the table. While a table was booked for 6:45 they didn't seat us til 7:!5. The waiter was awful - didn't introduce himself, didn't care about anything (other than maybe his girlfriend in the bar area), knew nothing about the L'Aquila tasting menu and provided no insights to the dishes, charged us $14/martini despite menu stating $8/drink. While the owner's write up and online menu included a dessert (Ferratelle Dolci), no dessert was offered or included at the actual dinner and the server said 'nope - no dessert'. This is so misleading and unexcusable when the promoted dinner menu includes it. Overall a disaster of a dinner - and sadly the food wasn't good either. The tomato starter was uninspired, the pasta cheese sauce hinted of Kraft or pre-packaed, and the lamb skewers were overcooked to the point of being almost jerky. Clearly an owner who spends more time writing his articles than he does training staff, providing food that matches the actual online menu, and ensuring some level of quality. So, can't recommend this place until substantial improvements are made.
