As for the octopus carpaccio? Wowzer! Buonissimo! Stella's rendering of the dish is beautiful and delicious. It is topped with savory, mild pink peppercorns; peppery arugula and EVOO. This super thinly sliced, tender, melt in your mouth polipo is just so good. We followed that with the beet salad. The organic red and gold beets are a feast for the eyes. They are likewise super thinly sliced, topped with dollops of creamy goat cheese, finely minced pistachios and EVOO. A show-stopper presentation and again absolutely delicious.
