    Vegetarian moussaka and basmati rice

The vegetarian moussaka was very tasty. It was filled with a lot of vegetables. The sauce was a flavorful tomato sauce .The basmati rice was very tender and not sticky

Good seating and fast service. Food and appetizers were ok. Was desiring a little more flavor.

We had a reservation and we're seated quickly. They weren't busy at 6 on a Friday so probably didn't actually need the reservation. They got busier around 7. Service was very good! The food was ok but not great. My favorite part was the pita and oil with spices that came with the meal. We also had falafel (that was too dry for me) and I had the Sauteed Shrimp (good but needed a bit more flavor). I would go back again if someone wanted to meet up there, but it wouldn't be my go to place to eat with all the choices in Easton. Bonus: Free parking just across the street!

We have been going to Cafe Istanbul for years but at the Dublin location. So I was very excited to visit the Easton location. The place was nice and clean and wasn't crowded at all. We were a party of 9 and had a reservation already. We were greeted by a friendly gentleman and seated right away. Due to the large crowd we ordered various dishes, such as hummus, baba Ghanoush, chicken Adana kabob, mousakka, grilled lamb chops and few other dishes. We also order the apple tea, which is my favorite. Just like other visits in Dublin location, the food did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The only reason I took a star way, is tht after we received the food, no one came to follow up to see if we needed anything else or if the food was ok or not. We had to flag someone down to ask for the check after we were done eating. But the food was delicious and I'll definitely be going back.

We stopped in for a Saturday lunch and got seated right away! The manager was very friendly and told us where she was from in Turkey and stopped by multiple times to see how our meal was going. The Adana Kebab was very flavorful and hot, the pide was fresh but a little bit too cheesy/ oily for my liking. The price point was also a little high in my opinion, but nice for a special occasion. Perfect location tucked into Easton for walking and shopping after!

Amazing experience at Cafe Instanbul! The interior is decorated beautifully & the menu has a wide variety of dishes (many which can be gluten free, yay!). Our server even recommended a wine from Turkey was was lovely. Everyone was very kind & went out of their way to give recommendations on dishes.

Shepherd Salad, Hummus, Efes, and Raki

I had not ate here in a few years. I try to do so whenever I'm in Columbus. Unlike past visits, the greeting when I arrived wasn't real welcoming. Oh well, everyone has a bad day. I started with the small Shepherd Salad with feta and Hummus with a basket of ekmek/bread. Both were nice servings, and both were tasty. Unfortunately, my lamb Adana Kebab was served way too early; I was only able to momentarily enjoy my salad and hummus. Seriously, the timing was horrific. It looked as though I was being served by someone in charge, so they knew better. The Adana Kebab came with mixed veggies and rice. The latter two were good. The kebab had a hot temp, but it was real bland. I lived in Adana, Turkey, for 2 years and have enjoyed this dish in a number of Turkish restaurants all over the planet. This one was not as good as I remembered it to be at Cafe Istanbul. I also had an Efes beer served in a chilled Efes flute and a properly served Yeni raki with water and ice bucket. Both were perfect. This restaurant is beautifully decorated and in a great location near Nordstrom at Easton Town Center.

Juicy flavourful tenderloin, but the rice was the real highlight.

It was a wonderful find!! The portions were generous, the staffs were friendly. I was traveling for work and was by myself, my only regret was not having people with me to share more variety of dishes ! Babaganous appetizer was creamy and delicious, with a hint citrus. The grilled tenderloin was a surprise surprise! Tender and juicy, a good size servings (ok, more like 1.5-2 meal size), it was so good. Yet, the biggest surprise was the rice!!! Normally not a rice person. I just could not stop eating their rice. It was cooked with some hint of coconut (?), cannot be sure, regardless, it was tasty. The ambiance was comfy, not loud and you can just sit back and relax. Will be back !

It was my first time here and was excited to try everything. There's plenty of parking around the plaza. Seating is plenty, but felt a bit cramped. The restaurant is beautiful, so warm and welcoming. We got the Moussaka and Sauteed Lamb. The dipping sauce and bread was phenomenal, it was delicious and a good starter to the meal, and you can taste the saffron and herbs. The Moussaka was made well and delicious. It was a pretty big cut and was very good. The Sauteed Lamb was made very well and flavorful. The lamb was tender and the peppers were soft and crunchy. Overall, the meal was great and filling. It came with rice and with the bread, it was overall enough for two people. I felt like the flavors were balanced and flavorful, delicious and tasty. Staff was very kind and accommodating. Staff checked on us multiple times and provided us with great service. They let us know that every meal could be made vegetarian and that's really nice for dietary needs. I would recommend this place for a great authentic meal, great service, and delicious food.

We were in Columbus for a couple of days so I scoped out places to eat and Cafe Istanbul popped up right away. My husband is from Istanbul so I thought he might like this and he did! The restaurant is nicely decorated and all of the staff members were very friendly. If you like Turkish pop music, you'll enjoy the ambiance a lot. Turks are known for their hospitality so we figured portions would be gigantic and we were right. We tried not to order too much but we still couldn't finish everything. We started off with a small meze sampler. Everything was delicious and fresh, but the baba ghanoush was the standout for me. I just loved the subtle smoky flavor. I would have been happy to just eat that with the wonderful warm break they served. We also got some lamachun. One order comes with three but they were kind enough to let us order just one and it was amazing. The crust was so crisp and the flavors were wonderful. There's no way we could have eaten two more. For a main, we split the mixed grill. Everything was great and the adana was particularly wonderful. I actually would have liked a little more rice to eat with everything but we still couldn't finish the entire plate. If you haven't tried Turkish food, you should definitely give this place a shot. And if you love Turkish food already, this should be part of your regular restaurant rotation! We eat at a lot of Turkish restaurants and my husband says this is the best Turkish food we've had in a long time.

It's truly special when a server makes the effort to get to know everyone at the table, make jokes and join in on the laughs. I was visiting Columbus for the weekend, and throughout the rest of my stay after dinner, I can say this meal was a highlight! The atmosphere was beautiful, and we were seated right away! The cocktails were amazing, I had a strawberry fields. Now as for the short ribs, they melted in my mouth! They paired perfectly with the risotto, truly a great plate of food that felt like home! I have already recommended this place to friends visiting Columbus soon!

We visited yesterday around 3 PM after seeing the new Mario movie. We didn't have a reservation, but seating wasn't an issue at that time. As always, the restaurant was clean, lively, and welcoming. The staff was very kind, and our waitress was attentive throughout our visit. We ordered many of our usual favorites, but my entrée--the braised short rib--was not quite up to the standard I've come to expect. While the meat itself was still tender, moist, and flavorful, the risotto was disappointing. It lacked its usual creamy texture and was noticeably too thick. Additionally, the dish was served with only carrots as the root vegetable, whereas in the past it has included a variety of vegetables that really elevated the overall flavor and presentation. I was especially disappointed because this was actually the first time I remembered to take a photo of my meal before digging in. I came in fully intending to finally leave a glowing five-star review based on all of our previous great experiences--but unfortunately, this visit didn't live up to that expectation. This was surprising, especially given how consistently great this dish--and the restaurant overall--has been during our previous visits. We've dined here at least five times this year and even celebrated our son's third birthday here, so this experience felt out of character. One difference worth noting is that we typically visit for dinner, and this was our first time coming during the afternoon. It's possible there may be differences in the kitchen or service during that time. We do plan to return, as we're hoping this was just an off day. This place has earned a lot of goodwill from us over time, but we wanted to share this experience in case it's helpful for others.

They have an outdoor area that was sadly closed - we would have loved to enjoy the beautiful weather! We dined inside over the weekend and they offer Brunch & Bubbles as well as their traditional menu. We ordered off the Brunch & Bubble's! Started with mimosas/No-mosa's - very good and such a reasonable price of $5! That was a treat! They had complimentary pretzel bread and butter for the table. We ordered the APPLEWOOD SMOKED BACON PIZZA, CANDIED BACON BLT, and the EGGS ANY WAY. My friends enjoyed both the pizza and BLT and said they would order again. Eggs any way feels misleading as I ordered scrambled egg whites and they came back and said they don't have egg whites and if normal eggs that have milk mixed in are okay instead. I am confused if they can make fried eggs why they can't separate the yolks for egg whites? For a restaurant at this price point and prestige, I was disappointed and will defer me from going there for brunch in the future. Instead I got three sides - applewood bacon, potatoes and oven roasted vegetables. Unfortunately, I was underwhelmed with the potatoes and oven roasted vegetables. The potatoes had a sauce on them that felt heavy and was unexpected - I wouldn't order them again (my friends who also had them with the bacon BLT said the same and in the future would ask for a different side) and the oven veggies were a bit saucy and tangy. The perception of what you will receive based on the name does not match what is presented. I've been to a Coopers Hawk for dinner several times and really enjoyed it, but this was a miss for me.

It's so creative, and the drinks are really the stellar stand out here. However, the atmosphere of those drinks is what gives me pause when thinking about coming back. The limited table situation, tiny cramped space, and loud music means that it doesn't feel particularly relaxing. People are constantly brushing up against you (even at 5PM), and holding a conversation at a normal distance is nearly impossible. NOTE: This place is covered in dust. No shade to the ownership as it doesn't appear to be anywhere near food prep areas (it's on the decor, on/around shelving, all over the faux plants, etc.), but if you're someone who's sensitive to dust, this is probably not a good fit. PROS: -I loooooooove how they've done their drink menu. As someone who is still exploring the potential of cocktails, their nerdy "chart" that places all of their drinks on a sweet/bitter and alcohol-forward/approachable visual chart is SUCH a help. As such, everything I ordered was absolutely amazing for me. I knew exactly what to expect from a drink because of its position on the chart, and it delivered. -Their drinks are really unique. Aqua faba? Fat washed alcohols? Lollipops or toasted marshmallows as garnishes? Super cool. Don't let some of the weirder descriptions creep you out of trying them. -All of their drinks were delicious. Everything I ordered was exactly as described. I often go places where the taste is barely related to its namesake, but they were entirely on-point here. CONS: -I'm not sure if someone called off that night as other reviewers are in love with the service, but our service was really really slow. No real rapport with the staff; just stating the name of a drink as they rushed past and then they were off to try to clean a table or take someone else's order. The drinks they made were great, but this isn't somewhere we'd go if we were in a hurry. -The pictures do not accurately convey how small this place is. Like, it's small. I'd guess less than 1000 square feet. My apartment is bigger by a lot. This isn't necessarily an issue, but it means people pile up quickly as they wait for seating (there's like 4/5 tables and then bar seating). The human walkways are small enough that the bartenders and other guests will brush against you a lot - even while seated. -I get the vibe they were going for here, but with the smaller space, I think a lot of the potential decor options had to "go" in order to fit more humans. It's giving me hardcore The Hearth Room (in Cincinnati) vibes, and I think it could honestly pull it off if it simply had more space. The "relaxed, sophisticated bourbon bar" doesn't quite come through as well when things are so focused on simply fitting in more bodies. -It's loud AF. Like, really, really loud. Between all the people and the blasting pop music, it required leaning into someone's ear in order to speak at normal volumes. We'd regularly have to pause the conversation if something in the music was building to a drop. This is not a place I'd take someone I wasn't very very comfortable with because it really requires being in someone's space to talk. -There's a single all-gender toilet here for everyone in the establishment. It's basically a revolving door of people in and out of it. The door auto-closes, however, so it's really difficult to figure out if it's open or not. There was usually a queue of people waiting in front of the door.

Cocktail vibe is more "laid-back friends talking over creative drinks" than sultry, romantic date spot. Tons of natural light means this cocktail bar has had some of my *favorite* cocktail bar photos I've ever taken. It's so pretty in here. NOTES: -During pop-ups, walk-ins are near-impossible on weekends and not likely on weekdays. Make a reservation if you want to make sure you'll have a spot. -No dedicated parking lot. 3-hour-limit free residential parking all around Law Bird, though. We generally have to walk 2 or 3 blocks from parking to Law Bird. Be aware this is German Village, and you're looking at cobblestone sidewalks for high heel and accessibility purposes. -Law Bird mostly has small party seating. If you have a larger group you want to seat during a pop-up, make SURE to get that reservation in early. They have the single 8-person table. -They have snackies and food. Portion sizes are small (despite what the prices may suggest), though, so this is not generally a place to eat a full meal. All of the food is super flavorful, though, so definitely a great snack to add on. PROS: -Keeping things fresh, they regularly host cute seasonal events, new drinks, and pop-up events. In recent memory, I know they've done a Cherry Blossom one, a Spooky Halloween one, and a Christmas one. -They go ALL OUT for their pop-ups. It isn't just a brand new, professionally-printed menu (no pieces of paper with 4 seasonal drinks here). It's also all of their interior decor, bathroom decorations, bartop decorations, and more. Ceiling decor too! They get all up in there. It's really fun to see the space transformed constantly. -Between the new menus and the constantly-new decorations of their space, I love regularly popping into Law Bird. -I LOVE the creativity of the menus, and I LOVE that they offer cocktail classes. (I haven't taken one yet, but I'm excited to!) The menu has unique drinks, served with unique garnishes. They have a few "sugar cocktails", but for the most part, Law Bird drinks tend to be complex and spirit-forward. -Their "themed" bathrooms (even with their own themed music playlists) make me happy. They have two unisex, single room restrooms. CONS: -If you come during a pop-up with a smaller group, they will enforce their reservation time limit of 1.5 hours. This isn't necessarily the end of the world, but the times when they enforce their limits is when they have more customers waiting - and tend to be when the place is at capacity. When they're at-capacity, the bar staff and service staff is a lot busier, with drink service taking longer and servers checking in a lot less. This means we usually only have had the chance to place 2 drink orders during that 1.5 hour time limit before they ask us to leave. This can be rough (to try most of the drinks on a limited time menu) unless you're sharing drinks with your tablemates. If you still want to continue your evening with your friends after that 1.5 hour limit, Antiques on High, Daily Growler, and Cobra are easily walkable from here. -During their pop-ups on weekends, time between placing a drink order and receiving the drink has usually been around 15 to 20 minutes. Not the end of the world as you get to socialize with friends, but again, with the time limit, that can be a bit rough.

And the overall atmosphere was amazing. I enjoyed an On The Rocks Margarita.... Strawberry Frozen. It was so good. I really enjoyed it. I had the Dos Hermanos Tacos with Carnitas on corn tortillas. They were so good. Great flavor. I really loved them. My friend had the Steak Mexican Street Tacos. She got some Queso on the side and dipped her tacos in it. She loved it all. Whenever I come back to Columbus, I will definitely return. Might try something different.

I walked in to pick up my order and the ambiance is pretty cool. Plenty of places to park outside…read moreand plenty of room to sit. I ordered online and it was ready in under 15 mins. The food was amazing! The flavor on the tacos were unreal. The fajita veggies had so much flavor. The Mexican street tacos were packed with rice beans and veggies. They did not skimp. The shrimp tacos were 3 large shrimp on a tortilla with some mango salsa. The flavor on the shrimp was fantastic. They looked underwhelming but tasted amazing. The mango salsa was great, the Avocado salsa could've used a little more flavor but still good, and the hot salsa was really hot but tasted so good. It was exactly what i was looking for. The side of rice and beans were a little dry. Wasn't anything to write home about, but the tacos made everything worth it. I would for sure get this again.
