Unbelievable location for Stroudsburg. Honestly I would have expected place like this to exist somewhere in New York or may be Finger Lakes or another place similar but it is here. We actually came here after the big storm when most places didn't have electricity but this place was open. It had food that was very tasty and done with great bit of imagination and great coffee to match it. We left and stayed with friends after that but I think I need to go eat here again. We found this lovely cafe while exploring Stroudsburg after a wedding nearby. Between my boyfriend and I, we got a dark roast black coffee and a cappuccino. They have a lot of milk options there, so he was able to get almond milk, which was great! Both drinks were tasty and well prepared; the cappuccino was frothy and delicious, and the coffee was freshly brewed and had great flavor (none of the sourness that can sometimes happen with coffees). We enjoyed our drinks outside, as they set up some small tables and chairs for two. Had a great view and relaxing drinks! We only stopped by for coffee, so I can't speak to the food, but the menu did look good! read more

Adorable cafe with great coffee, tea, food and plenty of seating. I stopped in with my mom and husband on a dreary winter morning. I had a latte, my mom a mocha, and my husband a chai tea latte. My coffee was delicious and the sips I tried of the mocha (dark and creamy) and chai (spicy and sweet) were really great. I split a savory scone with my mom and it was a nice treat. It's a very pretty café with a gorgeous backyard seating amongst a lot of plants and flowers and cute lights! Some of the dishes on the menu are delicious like Cafe Duet Waffle which is made with Granola, rolled oats and Yogurt instead of cream. The Mushroom and Melted Brie sandwich was yummiest sandwich I had tasted in a while. Avocado toast on the other hand was disappointing since the nuts on the Avocado Toast don't really go. Some of their baked good was tasty too like Banana bread which is very lightly sweet, Biscotti, Carrot muffin. The service is average and the staff is not well informed about the seating situation, you'll have to get to the backyard and look for availability of tables yourself before ordering. read more

While looking for parking on a Sunday morning, my friend and I discovered this cute cafe. It is kinda hidden off of N 7th street. As soon as we walked in we felt like we had walked into a New York coffee shop. The decor was hipster-esque and very trendy. We ordered two lattes, an egg sandwich, and the farmers baked eggs. The farmers baked eggs blew our minds. So delicious!!!! They were perfectly baked and oozing with cheese and soft tomatoes. The bread crisps that came with the baked eggs gave the dish an extra crunch factor. The egg salad sandwich was surprise. They make their egg salad with olives which gives it a unique taste. Now I know this is a coffee shop, but the food gave a better impression than the coffee. The coffee was good too but it wasnt anything special. Second time here and I highly recommend it! The service is wonderful, the staff was super friendly. They were playing music on a record player, the whole place just a a super chill vibe to it. What a terrific find! Read the reviews and decided this was a place worth trying for lunch in Stroudsburg. I was not disappointed. The ambience is extremely inviting from the vinyl records playing at all times, to the wonderful outdoor seating in the back of the restaurant. Thoughtfully decorated and just feels like a place you want to sit and have a bite and some coffee. Speaking of a bite and coffee, both were amazing. I enjoyed a wild mushroom, gruyere, and arugula sandwich served on a croissant. The mushrooms were cooked perfectly and married well with the gruyere and arugula. We were vacationing in the Poconos and stopped in this lovely Cafe twice. The girl barista is very sweet and knows her way around an espresso machine. Two handpulled cappuccinos, two days in a row... perfection! On day one (a Wednesday afternoon) we sat in the cozy back courtyard, taking our time, sipping our drinks, watching an industrious squirrel burying nuts. No one rushes you, you can hang out, do work, whatever. F was able to smoke a cigar, there was no one else back there. On day two (a Friday afternoon), we stopped in after lunch. I noticed Sweet Barista was playing Madman Across the Water on a record player. We started chatting and I mentioned we had just seen The movie Bohemian Rhapsody. I brought our cappuccinos out front this time, and started hearing "I'm in Love With My Car". Sweet Barista had put the Queen album on. How thoughtful. It is the little things that spread simple joy. Went to poconos for a weekend for skiing and needed coffee after the cold! The atmosphere was super cute with plenty of seating in the back and had a little outdoor garden/seating area as well. While away on a business trip, I was looking for a coffee shop to sit and read at. This place is great for both groups and individuals looking for somewhere to quietly work/read. There's a ton of indoor and outdoor seating; a lot more than you would think looking from the outside. I went with a group of 8, and we were able to comfortably sit at 2 different picnic tables outside. On a weekday late afternoon, there were a handful of other people there for lunch. The chai latte was okay, definitely better than the typical Dunkin or Starbucks options. The cold brew coffee is pretty strong. The staff was really friendly too! This place is super cute, the coffee was excellent (even has some really nice dense heavy cream as an alternative to half/half), and the staff is warm and accommodating. The sitting area is cute as well, for sure, but not made for long times of sitting. All wooden chairs and tiny tables. That might be intentional. I was very disappointed in the staff at cafe duet I stopped by since I was looking to get something healthy for lunch 10 minutes before 2 pm which is the time they close to get a salad . I got turned away by the staff who told me we are closing and we are not serving anymore lunch in a rude manner . No apology she just wanted to leave .. she said we are only serving coffee I'm sad to say that I feel I won't return to the cafe and will not reccomend them to others because of this. Our breakfast experience at duet Café was absolutely fabulous. We ordered the classic waffle, the mushroom and Gruyere croissant sandwich, and the breakfast sandwich. The mushroom sandwich was warm flavorful and the croissant was amazingly crisp and fresh. The breakfast sandwich was pretty flavorful and the bread was really good. The waffle was the perfect item to end our meal on, it was crispy on the outside soft in the inside and went perfectly with the powdered sugar butter and maple syrup. The outdoor seating in the back is also lovely. This was our favorite breakfast in the Poconos and the most reasonably priced as well. read more

This is the first time Yelp reviews have let us down. Stumbled upon this place and the reviews looked great so we stopped in. My husband ordered the ham and cheese, asked for extra balsamic vinegar and received maple syrup instead. Didn't realize it until he poured it on his sandwich (which I guess could have been his fault). My sandwich wasn't great. Ordered the avocado hummus sandwich which had great potential but was ruined by the incredibly hard and inedible avocado.
