I have mixed feelings about Cafe D. I occasionally visit, and there are many things to love. First, it has a great vibe. There are always plenty of people in there, and it has the aromas and atmosphere of a great coffee shop. The ambient noise levels are just right -- enough that you can have a conversation with someone with a medium level of privacy. The furniture is a mixed bag -- a bit worn, but there are plenty of tables. It's good for studying or working for an hour or two. The coffee is good. My go-to oat milk lattes always come out consistent. I've also found the staff to be friendly. The only reason I didn't go 5 stars is I am disappointed that they prominently feature the "Hoodview News" paper in the shop -- that is a terrible local publication which spews anti-LGBTQ+, anti-immigrant rhetoric. It frusterates me that Cafe D gives it a platform. It sends all the wrong signals about our community. They could easily replace that with something a bit more palatable to the entire community, such as the Gresham Outlook or Oregonian. With multiple coffee options (Jazzy, Legacy) nearby, I try to prioritize patronizing the places that don't have Hoodview prominently displayed. I do occasionally still go to Cafe D (it's near my office), so I'll try and update this review if they remove that. read more

We were basically in-and-out during our visit, grabbing a quick dirty Chai (two shots) to go, so we didn't really have a lot of time to absorb the atmosphere here at Cafe Delirium. What we did notice is that the interior was spacious, quiet, and decorated with bistro chic furniture, and a few odd antiques. Local crafts and jewelry are available from the counter. Service was efficient, but not particularly friendly or engaging. The chai itself was wonderful, though, with a rich, potent flavor that wasn't overpowered by the espresso shots. Baked goods, soups, sandwiches and salads are also available. I've heard many good things about this cafe and was in the neighborhood today with nothing to do so I dropped in for a coffee. The barista was very nice. As a first timer she asked what my preferences were and gave excellent suggestions. For my husband I got the almond joy cappuccino and for my self a Carmel macchiato. Both were excellent. Hello, basically I am writing this after I write my review on Legacy Cafe. It right next to Jazzy Bagles and father down you see Cafe Durimal. It pretty nice most of people who go there bring there friends and other people so they can talk. People are able to oder cafes and meet others. However, they don't you being rude to people cause they like the peace. Suprising they have oragon vibes speakers like Legacy Caffie. They are not nicer than Legacy Coffie cause having fun and be nice about work is all about Legacy Caffie they are really friendly by the way. Afterwords, they have young looking old people working there who are in there 25-40's. If I had there service four out five. Also, when I went to Legacy Caffie people telling me they had husbands and wifes. So basically Cafe Durilima is more for younger adults. read more

The brewed coffee is delicious and the cafe has plenty of seating, but often gets overcrowded. It's about 50/50 chance you will get a friendly counter attendant. They offer a punch card for frequent customers. Overall, it's a gamble going into this cafe, but worth a visit if you are downtown Gresham. read more

Cute little local coffee shop. Good for students who needs a place to study. I came here with a friend on a Monday and ordered a mocha with caramel, hazelnut, and vanilla "Snickers" $3.95. This coffee shop is great for a coffee drink and a small bite to eat while you work on homework, work remotely, or read a good book. Whenever I am in the Gresham area for work I make this my usual haunt for setting up my laptop and ordering a blended snickers. Service is always great, they have a reward program for a free drink after so many purchases, and the atmosphere is nice. The prices are a little high, but they are a local small business and I will pay a little extra to support. This coffee shop is also right in the middle of a huge PokemonGo hotspot and they are always super nice to the giant influx of players on event days. read more

Cozy and comfortable is how I would best describe Cafe Delirium. With a variety of easy chairs and tables in spacious surroundings, it's a wonderful place to relax with coffee or tea, and maybe a snack. The service is fast and friendly too. Plus, they have a great corner location on Main Ave in downtown Gresham, and their windows face south and west so there's lots of natural light. I only wish they would stay open a little bit later into the evening...because they currently close at 4:00pm. read more

UPDATE: I still love coming here. It's a Sunday around 11 and it's relatively quiet still and relaxing! The workers here are so genuine and affable its just a breath of fresh air compared to some places that are.. over the top... if you know what I mean. Thank you all so much for being my new go-to coffee place; I drive 40 minutes to get here as often as I can and it's always worth it Okay I'm a huge fan of Black Rock and Dutch Bros since they're closer to me out in Damascus, but I decided to take a little trip here to get coffee since my friends in Gresham love it!! And I can officially say it's literally my favorite shop now th coffee is amazing!! I got a White Chocolate Snickers instead of a regular because I just like white chocolate a lot more than Milk, and I'm in LOVEEE!! The coffee is not perfect but good. The place is homey and comfortable. It has the feeling of grandma's kitchen which I don't like. They also have different kinds of tables to suit everybody's taste but not a lot of tables next to outlets. The biggest thing they need is friendliness. Oh man. If you like your coffee sweet like I do, get the White Russian. It's SO good. I am sure someone who prefers the coffee taste more wouldn't like it so much but I do! Cafe Delirium is a Gresham-staple. I can't count how many study sessions I had there. Tons of seating but usually quite a few people there. Outside seating on sunny days. This place has an amazing atmosphere. They alway have music running that is of good taste, and it is in no way too loud like some coffee shops tend toward. I always order a Vanilla Chai Latte, and it always tastes great. The baristas are friendly, and they work quickly and efficiently. Even though the steamer occasionally needs a quick fix, it was not out for more than 10 minutes. I have recommended this cafe to many of my friends, and I know that they have enjoyed their time here. It is perfect for any use, whether it be to spend time writing as I often do, or just reading as I have seen many do. I was passing through for a day up skiing at Mt. Hood. This location is on the way and as I was looking for a new coffee shop, this one fit the bill. Comfortable place to sit back and read or meet with someone. Some guys were in there having a meeting when I arrived right around opening. It was not crowded as they have plenty of room. Located in downtown Gresham, this large coffee shop has a huge variety of tables, couches, armchairs, and love seats for guests with fun decor. This was my first time to this coffee shop. When I walked in I wasn't greeted with a hello or anything. I stood there and waited as behind the counter the three woman stood there talking amongst themselves. I've never been here before so I don't know how the ordering worked. The woman said you can go order down there, OK, thanks. I walked and ordered a 10 ounce Doubleshot vanilla latte. When I received the drink half a cup was foam, I get a latte should have some foam in it. But a 1/2 cup of Foam??? At first I was just going to accept the coffee I was given, but then I thought I just paid $5.00 for this cup of coffee I want it made right. I asked the barista if she could fix it? since it was half the cup. she obliged however when she returned it it, tasted like she had scooped out the foam didn't put in another shot of espresso and then just warmed, more milk, and barely added more vanilla flavoring into it. For a five dollar cup of coffee I would expect it to be awesome. I very rarely write reviews about coffee shops because there are so many everywhere. I come here because they use Caravan Coffee and it is one of my favorites. Most of the time the experience is fine, not stellar. I've never encountered a focus on making sure the experience is great, just fine. Today I ordered an americano with caramel sauce. They made it and as she was handing it to me she realize she didn't put the caramel in it, that's fine good catch, but then proceeds to just drizzle some caramel on top of a very full cup and put a lid on it. For everyone who has worked in the coffee industry you know why this is a problem and since she works in the coffee industry she should know that this isn't acceptable. How much did you put in there? Is it to the standard of making the drink? It looks like about a teaspoon which is not going to be very noticeable in a 16 ounce drink. Also, didn't stir it so I'm not gonna taste any of that caramel until my last couple drinks where it has dissolved at the bottom. So then I had to just stir it myself at the counter, which again it was completely to the top so this makes a mess. I had to ask for another cup because now this one is all dripping everywhere. Why didn't she just dump some of that out or remake the drink. It's not a hard thing to do right and it wouldn't of even taken more than an extra 40 seconds, if that. And there was nobody in line so it's not like they were busy and didn't have the time. read more
