Lovely spot for brunch with friends!…read more The decor is modern, clean and inviting with a hipster vibe. If that's your thing, you'll love it here! It's just a 4 minute walk from Exit D, Jordan MTR station- convenient for anyone who's around TST. MUST-TRY: signature toast with nine homemade jams ($48)! This is a great way to sample their homemade jams, which they sell in jars for $48-68 HKD each. The toast is very crisp and the jams are bomb. My favorite is the lychee one! My foodie friend got the full English breakfast and said it was great. I didn't try it so I can't give my opinion but he gives his seal of approval and recommends. PASS: Pastas and risottos probably aren't the best thing to order here. Risotto is a hit or miss dish for me- I got a pumpkin risotto and the flavor was fine but it was overcooked and too mushy for my liking. Just keep in mind that they specialize in breakfast/brunch items and stick to those dishes. All in all, worth trying out. I recommend Let's Jam if you're a brunch lover!

My breakfast cost less than yesterday's latte. I ordered breakfast #5 which was toast with fruit and yogurt and included coffee. I didn't realize the fruit and yogurt would be on the toast, but it was good and as a bit of a coffee fuss budget, the coffee was fantastic. It was a delightful start to the day and I am pretty sure I will repeat the visit tomorrow morning.

Chocolate drizzled potato chips? A novelty. For me it's just 3 stars…read more After passing by and seeing the queue to go in we had to come back and luckily for us, no queue. We ordered the chocolate drizzled potato chips (crisps) with soft serve ice cream. Savory and sweet should be good, right? Maybe I'm a purist but I like my chips salty and not sweet. And the soft serve ice cream had that Hong Kong dairy which left and aftertaste in my mouth :( However I did like that the shop had every Calbee product imaginable and that was what made this place 4 stars. I got the Hong Kong limited edition Typhoon Shelter Spicy and the original potato chips with chocolate sauce and ice cream. I loved the spicy chips and it tastes even better with the soft serve! The original with chocolate and ice cream was good as well, but not something I plan to come back for. I highly recommend the spicy chips with ice cream!! I'm giving it 4/5 stars because of the super long wait. I plan to visit again in a month or two.

There was one person waiting ahead of us, but we were quickly seated at one of the booths overlooking the centralized atrium space. We used the QR code to order an iced caramel milk coffee and iced hazelnut coffee, both which were refreshing and caffeinated to fuel us for the rest of the shopping day! I also love their napkins "Call ______ for a good time!"

They have many unique flavors like earl grey tea, matcha, and peanut butter! They also have the original buttermilk and chocolate. You also have a choice of your fruit toppings and sauce. My friend and I had the earl grey pancakes topped with fruit and classic maple syrup. The pancakes are thick like Japanese style hotcakes and they are pretty fluffy as well. The earl grey didn't really taste a lot different from regular pancakes to me although it did have a faint tea flavor and was less sweet than regular buttermilk pancakes. We also had the toast and egg combo was which pretty average but not bad. The smoothies and coffee here are also pretty good, but again nothing special. Personally, I would probably only come here for the pancakes. Prices range about 100hkd a person and a little more if you order drinks.

We came across this cute little cafe using some alley space in a rather isolated corner of SOHO…read more The place was packed on a Saturday afternoon and was told to wait around for 20 mins before we were seated. You order and pay at the counter and you receive a transponder when your food is ready for pick up. The menu is in the form of a photo album and some are hand written with pictures. Two of us ordered the potato salad and early grey pancakes with Nutella, bananas and strawberries to share along with a soda and a refresher smooth (green apple, cucumber, mint). The Earl grey pancakes came out more like thick pan cakes stacked on top of each other with Nutella in between them. These aren't really the fluffy pancakes which I was expecting as its dense and more like a cake. The two of us couldn't finish the huge stack but one girl next to us finished the whole stack by herself! The soda and smoothie tasted very blend and was sure no sugar was added. The service was good and the menu is thoughtfully put together but I would hope to taste some fluffier pancakes in the future.

However, the ones here are made pretty delicately and doesn't have an overpowering generous pouring of pesto sauce. But it may also have been because I was sharing the few crepes we ordered. So my suggestion is to share a few crepes, so you can try more than just one because they're all so yummy! They also serve French cider in a bowl--which was soo cute. Kind of weird at first because it feels like you're going to be sipping on chowder but instead you get a nice, crisp beverage. Staff are all really nice and patient here. I highly recommend this place for a chill, relaxing environment away from the HK crowds.

When I went in to ask a staff whether my table was ready, he looked at me and walked away. Amazing. His attitude is one to leave you gobsmacked! This is an Asian guy. The French host/possibly owner is much better. Ordered a salmon galette and vanilla ice cream crepe. Both of which were pretty good.although I was disappointed the galette was hard and not light and crispy, the taste was decent. There was a white sauce that looked like mayonnaise but upon consuming, it was a grain, floury texture without much flavor. Call me an amateur! I do not know my crepes but that was weird. While all of the cakes and treats are beautiful, they are also pricey. It's hard to say this is a good value but I also did not feel that ripped off. The popular Hokkaido Flan, known by many as Hong Kong's most expensive egg tart, was great. It doesn't seem that they put them out on display anymore. If you would like to try one, I recommend ordering online. Otherwise, your chance of randomly dropping by and finding them for sale is pretty low. I think this would be a great place to celebrate a special occasion or even to treat yourself after a good/bad day.

It's technically a dan tat and is still a dan tat, yet is so rich and decadent that it's mind-bending (not blowing, just bending). It's literally still a proper egg custard tart, but so rich and luxurious it almost feels worth seven times the price of a normal one. But at seven times the price it still gives me pause, even as such a memorable experience. Rest of menu is good, high quality, but not as memorable.
