Built in the mid 1920's, and majorly renovated in 1974, this haunted restaurant has a classic…read moresupper club feel: dark wood floors and paneled walls, low lighting, tight seating, an accent brick wall lined with wine bottles and a long bar that takes up the majority of one side. We went on a Monday afternoon around 11:30, and by the time we left the place was pretty well packed. I ordered a Bloody Mary to start, which was ok, but could have used more spice for a boost of flavor. The Turkey Stack sandwich was served on a soft, buttery pretzel bun with a generous portion of turkey. While the tomato wasn't very fresh, the rest of the elements were good. The side of cranberry relish was not to my liking, but that's just a personal preference. However, because that was the only spread choice, my sandwich ended up being a bit flat in taste. The steak fries that accompanied were good, but also could have used a bit more seasoning for taste. My husband had the Bartender Steak Sandwich, and while deconstructed each ingredient was savory, the garlic bread was not the best bread choice to support the juiciness of the steak. It fell apart quite easily, and made eating the sandwich with your hands a bit difficult. Overall, this favorite neighborhood spot is a cozy place to grab a meal and relax.

This place feels like a blast from the past. Inside, it's dark and moody. In the bar area, enjoy…read moreall the peanuts you want & just chuck them on the floor. We went specifically for the burgers as we've heard great things about them and they were worth the hype. The burgers were simple, but high quality in the ingredients and care to put them together. If you have a severe peanut allergy, I would recommend avoiding here just due to the peanut dust.

I think there were TVs around for viewing. We ate out on the patio. I was a little apprehensive as it is right on Ogden Ave., but it was rather pleasant. There was plenty of shade and the blinds hanging over the patio are adjustable. Our server was delightful and the manager also came over and spent a few minutes chatting. I was told that the BBQ ribs fall off the bone ~ just the way I like them. As promised, meat fell off the bone. I liked that I was given a separate bowl to deposit the bones to get them off my plate. Plenty left to take home for another meal. Wait times were appropriate ~ no delays. They are open for lunch and dinner so I will return.

Just average during this trip. Took quite a while to get served, by anyone! When the server arrived…read moreand asked "can I get you anything to drink besides water?" Hard to answer when you don't even have water yet... The wings were wonderful as always. We were sad to see the variety of options continue to be pulled back. They used to have 4-5 bowl options for entreees and now it's down to 2. Vibes and people are kind. Always like coming here for sporting events! Just be cautious for "date night".
