Great spot on Milwaukee. From the outside the place hadn't seemed like much and we had walked past it a few times. It is much roomier inside and has a lively vibe. The servers were upbeat and music was playing but not too loud. Our orders were taken quickly and everything came out perfect. I highly recommend the premium margaritas and the chilaquiles.

Perfect spot for a friend's birthday dinner. Staff was so kind and offered great recommendations as it was our first time in. Cozy space with ample parking in the back. The food was fresh and flavorful. I can't wait to try their brunch!

Lovely, centrally located spot. Food comes out quite fast for a busy, rainy Sunday brunch time. Big filling platters that are delicious. Horchata that hits the spot. I would happily visit again when in town and take my time to experience the fuller menu.

Just delicious! Very bang for your buck meal. The plantain was a chefs kiss and also the chilaquiles was enough to feed two of us! Service was nice and the restaurant was lively. We loved their cocktails as well, would come back again

Spillin' the beans at the cafe Need a great brunch spot with amazing coffee to go along with your friends? Head over to @cafeconlechechi for some of the TASTED coffee you've had here in Chicago! It is so delicious and just look at the size of it paired along with our coffees we're the breakfast chorizo and avocado omelette & grilled chicken sandwich and both orders were so good we devoured them completely! The staff is so sweet and very helpful but it does get crowded quick so if you do go we recommend you get there when they open or it might be difficult to get a seat but overall amazing place inside and out!

Stopped by during restaurant week with a group of 7. The service was very friendly and the portion sizes were great! The salmon was cooked perfectly and the chipotle dijon salsa paired great with it. The flan was super rich and decadent! I also ordered a marg is and was just ok. We were able to pay separately for each of our meals, which is always a plus!

The food and the service were both exceptional. From the moment we walked in until the moment we left we felt like we transported ourselves to my grandmothers kitchen. The music was perfect, the restaurant was clean and the vibes were spot on. Incredible restaurant... 10/10 highly recommend. Seriously GO CHECK THEM OUT!!!

My friends and I stopped into Café Con Leche and had such a great experience sitting at the bar! Chema, our bartender, was incredibly attentive and made sure we were taken care of from start to finish. We started with a bottle of champagne for mimosas and an order of empanadas to share--crispy on the outside and packed with flavor. For our meals, one friend ordered the jibarito dinner (which they loved), and the other had the chilaquiles. I went with the chilaquiles verdes with steak, eggs, and avocado--served with Mexican rice and beans. The green salsa was flavorful without being spicy, and the chips had the perfect texture--not too soft, not too crunchy. Just right! To top it all off, I tried the passion fruit mojito, and wow--you can actually taste the passion fruit. So refreshing and delicious. Great food, great drinks, great service. I'd definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a solid brunch or lunch spot with Latin flair!

Chorizo Breakfast Torta Cafe con Leche

Came here last minute for breakfast. I got the chorizo torta with the side of potatoes. The torta was delicious, but I felt like the potatoes should be seasoned better. My friend had the same opinion, but it might just be our personal taste. I also got the cafe con leche which tasted okay, my friend got their iced mocha which tasted better to me. Since the restaurant is small, we sat in the back patio area which isn't as nice as the inside (maybe try a reservation to sit in the main area). The service was good, no complaints there.

First time here. Sat at the bar while waiting for my party. Ordered Sangria and it was pretty delicious. The vibe was very nice as well loved the open windows and the street view. The food came in a large portion, I had an appetizer as my main course. Chicken flautas are my favorite and I was really impressed the way it was presented as well as how it tasted. Can't wait to be back to try other dishes on the menu.

Pumpkin Crème Brûlée - 6.5 out of 10 it's a healthy dessert and we liked it but if you have a sweet tooth it's not for you.

It's 7 of us with my mom - I had to sit her down - I didn't know we all had to be present - we Just arrived and because parking here in the northside is always a mess we brought my mom in first while my sister went to find parking. They should make an exception for the elder. For now I am giving it a 2 star. I'll update it. UPDATE: We got seated - Baly, the Hostess was kind and our waiter is Miguel and he came with a nice smile that's important to me. He took our drink order. So so far service is not bad . To be continued... The ambiance in the back seating area was ok but could have a little more more breeze it got a little hot.

Starting with margaritas (because obviously ‍), queso and chips that were dangerously good, and the chicken empanadas that came out perfectly crispy with so much flavor. I genuinely cannot stop thinking about it. So savory, flavorful, comforting, and packed with crispy carnitas on top with the eggs and pickled onions... literally unreal. I must admit that I had low expectations because quite frankly, I have not enjoyed Mexican food outside of Mexico or California. However, we were hungry, and it was near where we were staying, so I decided we should check it out, and I am so glad we did! The food was great. Both adults and the VERY picky children in our group all enjoyed our meals. I ordered the green chicken enchiladas and the other adult ordered a chile relleno combo, which I also got to try. Everything was delicious and devoured by all! We were so full but the owner talked us into the chocoflan, and we did not regret trying it. It was soooo good! Speaking of the owner, the service was great. We really enjoyed how he and the rest of the staff were very courteous. Appetizers were quac and chips, and shrimp ceviche. The guac was really good, but the ceviche was the star. Entrees were steak and shrimp for me, and Tampiquena for my friend. In both dishes, the steak was done to perfection. The sauce that came with my shrimp was spicy and deep--lots of flavor layers there. Both of us took home portions of our meals because there was a lot of food on the plates.
