We celebrated my great friend's birthday yesterday and she decided to make reservations at Fuego. I was a little skeptical at first because this was originally El Pacifico , which was OK however I wanted a different vibe and oh my God that we get it here. The drinks were the bomb. We had Passion Fruit Margaritas- (yummy) Malibu & pineapple, Mai Thai and beer... they were delicious. The food was also great. I tell you we had an amazing time the owner Arturo and "L "the waitress were stellar. Arturo came to our table and made us feel like family, talk to us, gave us the backstory of the restaurant and made sure that we were being taken care of correctly and if there was anything else that could be done to make our evening even better- and that makes the world of difference. We drank --we ate -- we ate--we even danced.. There was a DJ to appear at 10 PM but we had other plans. Totally worth visiting -they also have free parking in back of Restarant. My friends and I went into this restaurant hungry. We were optimistic as the photos on google looked delicious. Unfortunately, the best part of our meal was our drinks and free chips they give their guest. The service was a slow despite being the only customers inside the restaurant; and was frustrating having missing items from our order despite having reminded our waiter for our item and never received it. I also felt that my dish didn't have much flavor, and the portions were odd too specifically the guacamole. Pricing was weird too as the guac was 10 dollars and it was only a small spoonful not enough to share among a table of 4. We had a large group this past weekend for my cousins birthday and what a nice experience! All around. From the service, to the food, to the vibes and dancing. All great. The owner truly made us feel at home and greeted every single person that walked through the door. Even the chef went the extra mile to make sure our food was properly served. I truly could not think of any feedback I could give to improve. If I lived closer to this restaurant, I know I would be a regular here. Plus the DJ - top tier. One word. GO! We experienced this amazing spot tonight for the first time. We will absolutely be back for more! I had the Shredded Chicken Tostada. It was sooooo delicious. I added avocado to the top of mine. It was absolutely mouth watering! The marinade on the chicken was perfect! My husband got the Burrito Suizo, with Rice and Beans, and when I tell you he DESTROYED it. The man damn near licked the plate! We also ordered the chips and salsa, with guacamole added. Their chips are FIRE. So good! The CRRRUUNNCCCHHH! Go get some! The Salsas were very fresh, with the perfect level of heat. The guacamole was nice and CHUNKY! So good! So mad I forgot my guacamole photo! We each got a cocktail too! Both of them were amazing, made with quality spirits, and artistically made. Gorgeous and YUMMMY! And yes, before you ask, that IS an icey rose with edible gold flecks! We were fortunate enough to also meet a few of the Staff, and the Owner as well. All really nice people, great to chat with! I visited Fuego with some friends to celebrate my sister's birthday! Immediately it was love at first vibe! We ordered drinks and appetizers. The margaritas were perfectly made, my favorite was the passion fruit. The guacamole was perfect, chips were exactly how I like them (crunchy). I ordered the skirt steak plate, and requested a medium cook, it was cooked just right! What made this place so special was the service. The owner and staff were very attentive and serviceable, we didn't want to leave. They played music at request, and of course we had to dance before leaving. Insane that this place was so empty on a Saturday night! The drinks were so good, I had the fuego smash burger which was divine, and my bestie had the 3 taco dinner that she loved. We also had the corn ribs for an appetizer that were delicious (insanely priced for the portion but still delicious. Skip that if you must, go for the drinks and burgers. I feel like this place would thrive in a different location but lucky us it's a few blocks away. Will be returning for sure! Go at least for the cocktails! read more

Even though they've been there for a few months, we initially didn't realize that the former establishment has been replaced by Fuego, so it took us until today to realize and go check it out, and we are so glad we did. It's a great addition to the neighborhood - good food, good vibe good people! There's everything on the menu that you would expect and want from a good Mexican place, plus some unexpected options like calamari and pad Thai and lamb chops and Caesar salad, as well as vegetarian options, so there's something for everybody no matter what ! The food is good and well prepared and the cocktails were spectacular. The place is adorable sparkling clean great vibe, good music - and with the pretty outdoor patio a great place to come kill a few hours for a brunch or lunch or dinner. Service wasn't that great. They told us to sit anywhere, so we went to the patio and waited 10 min and never got greeted or given menus, water, etc. So we got up and sat at a table inside and the same thing happened. Mind you, we were 1 of 3 tables with at least 2 servers on. Eventually we got up and asked the servers for assistance. We got delivered the complimentary chips (stale) and 2 salsas which were quite good. We ordered the scallop potstickers for an appetizer and they didn't come after at least 20 minutes, but really not at all. At the same time we ordered our entrees which we figured wouldn't come I time so we asked for everything to be wrapped to go..... 15 minutes later we finally got what we thought was our food, but no appetizer was in the bag. I wish I could say I was surprised. ( they were 18$? I believe for a 5-6 piece plate) We called the restaurant and they said we could come back for them...????? Um 20$ cold SCALLOP potstickers, no thanks. I'd love to say I'd return but I'm gonna have to see if they manage to stay open at this rate. If they do, maybe something has improved and we'll try again.... I will say that the asada burrito I got was good.... read more

This restaurant used to be called, El Pacifico. Now, it's been acquired by new ownership and it's not the same. It's lost its authentic Mexican touch. The menu isn't focused and has Thai food, Dubai desert (which makes no sense for a Latin restaurant), Asian style cocktails, along with the Mexican touch. The menus is all over the place and the authentic Mexican soups are no longer sold. The guacamole was sold on such a mini portion when in the past it was nice sized. Everything now is over priced for no reason; if it was worthy of the price I would absolutely not mind paying $18 for chilaquiles with protein. It should have kept its authentic Hispanic menu. Will no longer return after this being my go to place for many years due to it being my grandmothers favorite restaurant and we would all come as a family to enjoy good food and quality time. Do not recommend if you're looking for an authentic Mexican/hispanic restaurant. read more

I love the hospitality at Fuego. They're always very attentive. I went in by myself for a carne asada burrito and a horchata. The food was quick and the horchata was refreshing. The other times I've been, the palomas have been amazing, love this neighborhood spot! read more

The food was ok, but then again, I just ordered a salad. The rest of my party didn't complain about their food and raved about the pumpkin flan. My jamaica agua fresca was REALLY good, but what killed it was that the cup/vitrolero it was in STUNK very bad!! It was either not washed in a long time or not washed well in a long time. Very gross, I didn't even finish my drink and left most of it even though I ordered a large and the drink itself was good. That alone, I'll never return, it grossed me out, and left a bad memory and bad olfactory memory. Please start washing those well, I know you can't put those in the dish washer because they get ruined (I've had some and learned the hard way), but if you're going to serve drinks in those, wash them VERY WELL by hand each time!! Otherwise you might lose other customers and/or get someone sick! Thankfully I didn't get physically sick, just very grossed out. read more
