We had a delightful birthday dinner at Cafe Central after the Christmas Fantasia concert with the El Paso symphony! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Love their Christmassy sophisticated decorations that provide a warm and welcoming festive atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant offers a sophisticated and elegant decor with a romantic touch and some live music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We taste a large tower of seafood that was generously assembled with lobsters, tiger prawns, oysters, and some crab legs a real festival of delicious fresh seafood that flawn directly from Maine! It was abundantly deliciously fresh! CC's cream of Chili is a must try and one of the very best value on the menu! My grilled Angus Tenderloin was simply perfectly cooked medium rare. The side dish was a well prepared with an oven cooked gratin dauphinois. The rest of the party tried their Chilean Seabass and they were not disappointed. For dessert we had a crème brûlée and a rich 24k Gold bar chocolate cake with some port so you can expect that the bill was steep - but in my mind justified. The only observation was that the oysters were fairly flat and tiny. The service was super attentive and friendly Adam did an excellent job and believe it or not, our server has the same birthday's date as our dear friend Jimmy! What a treat for the ages!

The salad was exceptional, the best part of my dinner.

We went last nite to celebrate our friends birthday and unfortunately the lack of good service started from the beginning. First we literally had to ask for menus because after getting our drinks no one came around anymore till we waved the server down and we knew he had already seen us but a couple of other times we've gone and had the same waiter, he still wasn't very attentive with us (and yes we are good tippers always 20% or more). We had to ask for everything, "can we have bread, can we have water etc...at the end my friend had to send back her macaroni that was hard and dry then after our meals which we had to wave down the waiter again because he never came to check on us and didn't even offer us the dessert menu so we just left. I ordered the Chilean sea bass that unfortunately I didn't notice they add teriyaki to it which was so overpowering I couldn't really taste the fish. I wish I'd gotten the waiters name so we never sit in his section again.

Food was phenomenal!! One of the best Chilean sea bass I've had. It was so well cooked and the fish was melt in your mouth with great balance flavor. And the cream of green chili soup is a "must try at all cost". I've never had a green chili cream soup before. It has the consistently of a bisque but the flavor was so good that I literally almost licked the bowl. This is a must place to try when you're in El Paso!

The atmosphere is elegant, warm, and inviting. We made a reservation, which is a must, and when we arrived, we were seated quickly. The service is amazing! Our server was Daniel, and he took great care of us. The food was delicious, and the dining experience was like no other. Romantic lighting makes this a perfect place for birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, etc. There is absolutely no rushing. Expect your entire meal to last about two hours. I can't say enough! It was a wonderful birthday dinner! We most definitely will be returning soon. Highly recommended. 5/5

I was walking down the street to have dinner and saw a few people walking out of the Resturant so I thought I would give it try. I sat at the bar, the bartenders was very nice and recommend a few dishes. I preferred Herbert's which was the bacon wrapped prawns with some orzo and vegetables. The shrimp was very over cooked (had an hard time cutting it), the bacon in some spots raw. The orzo was great and so was the vegetables also but I wouldn't recommend due to the shrimp suppose to be the star of the dish and it was a disappointment. Maybe there other dishes are better.

The dining experience was truly exceptional, starting with a delicious array of appetizers that set the perfect tone. Each bite was thoughtfully crafted, with flavors that were both unique and harmonious, leaving us eager for more. The adult beverage selection was impressive, offering a range of options from expertly mixed cocktails to a carefully curated wine list that complemented our meal beautifully. When it came to the main course, the culinary excellence continued; each dish was prepared to perfection, showcasing fresh ingredients and sophisticated flavors that stood out. From start to finish, it was an outstanding meal that delighted the palate and created a memorable dining experience. See photos. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambience is high class with awesome and friendly servers.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hope you get to go and enjoy, Bon appetite!

Treated myself into a lovely dinner and I'm so glad I did, this place met every expectation. I fully expected as a party of one that was a walk in on a Friday night to be seated at the bar however they sat me outside in this lovely area at a table all to myself. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It did smell a little like cigar smoke but I quickly got over it because it was so beautiful, the wait staff was super attentive and the sommelier even came out to chat with me about my wine selections.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had the beef carpaccio which with the salad of greens, jicama, black truffle and Parmesan was beyond divine I could have had two of them! I also came in for the honey lavender duck and while the lavender was almost not present the duck was perfectly cooked and it exceeded expectations. There was an extra leg confit and foie gras with cranberry compote that was divine and absolutely made the dish when it was all paired together! For dessert I had one of the best creme bruise I've ever had, usually they are so thin and flavorless this was thick and decadent and perfectly paired with the ice wine. I had had a very strenuous couple of weeks and this dinner is exactly what I needed. From the ambiance to my server Nick who took care of my every need, to the staff to the chef I was absolutely delighted and I cannot wait to go back. Not sure what all the negative reviews are on here, Google tells a different story, believe Google before you believe Yelp apparently, so hopefully my reviews bring up their Stars where they deserve!

After nearly 50 years living in El Paso, I treated myself to a birthday lunch. This place was on my bucket list. I was dissapointed at the delay in service from when I waited to be seated. Overall impression of establishment was okay. Very perfumed, lots of glass and flowers. The burger I ordered for lunch was much better than I expected, especially considering that I don't often eat burgers. Even the fries were nicely seasoned and fresh. The service at my table was stellar. I will say that. Overall, I'd like to come back and try some other entrees before deciding if I'll be a regular.

Valentines dinner with reservations. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From the moment you step in this hidden restaurant you can feel the great ambiance.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Amazing friendly staff. The Cocktails were perfect and well priced. The starters such as the Cesar salad and green chili soup were delicious! The lobster bisque was an elegant and tasty treat. The ribeye steak and mashed potatoes needed to be reworked, very chewy and presentation was avg. overall, A+ for dining experience, A for the starters and drinks, Seafood A+, Ribeye Steak C - . Would definitely recommend trying this high end restaurant. Btw, the bread is so addictive....

Does Cafe Central require reservations? I noticed on their website that they have time slots for reservations, but it doesn't say anywhere whether or not they're required. Thank you!

Reservations are not required, but are strongly encouraged. Weekends are usually a bit busier. Hope this helps.

I kept it classic with waffles, bacon, and eggs--and it absolutely hit the mark. The waffles were light, fluffy, and perfectly golden, the bacon was cooked just right, and everything came out fresh and satisfying. Simple comfort food done right. But what really elevated the experience was the atmosphere. They had live musical entertainment by Louie, who was incredible. He played a mix of hits from yesterday and today, moving effortlessly between country & western, contemporary favorites, and traditional Spanish songs. His versatility created a warm, lively environment that both staff and customers clearly enjoyed--it added something special you don't find everywhere. Service was just as impressive. Our server, XAY, had a bright, welcoming smile and provided outstanding service from start to finish. They offered great suggestions on local favorites and specials, which made the experience feel personal rather than routine. The vibe overall is relaxed, inviting, and very "El Paso"--a place where you can sit, enjoy your meal, and stay a while. Overall: Delicious, well-executed brunch classics Live music that enhances the experience (not overwhelms it) Exceptional, friendly service Comfortable, welcoming atmosphere Would I go back? Without a doubt. This is more than just brunch--it's an experience.

I went in for brunch, and one place that absolutely deserves a visit is The Junction Brunch House. The restaurant is set inside a literal house, which gives it a cozy, welcoming feel from the moment you walk in. The service is warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. As for the food? Ay Dios mio! Outstanding. I ordered Big T's Texas Breakfast: two eggs any style, bacon, and pancakes or French toast. I chose scrambled eggs and pancakes. The presentation was impressive, looking more like something you'd expect at a high-end hotel restaurant. The eggs were folded neatly, omelet-style, into a triangle and cooked perfectly--flavorful and fluffy. The bacon was crispy yet juicy, just right. The pancakes were a four-stack, light and fluffy with a beautiful griddle finish. They came with butter mixed with brown sugar and cinnamon, and a side of and maple syrup, which took them to another level. Junction has locally made hot sauce on the table, and fair warning as both packed some serious heat and paired perfectly with the eggs. What really stood out was the attentive service. The staff checked in regularly, made sure I had everything I needed, and seemed to refill my coffee right on cue. While brunch alone makes it worth the trip, the menu offers much more than breakfast. I'm already looking forward to going back to try their lunch options. If you're in El Paso and craving a comfortable atmosphere with excellent food and service, this is a spot you shouldn't miss.

The food was absolutely amazing -- everything we ordered was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. You could tell a lot of care went into both the menu and presentation. What really stood out, though, was how attentive and genuinely kind our server was throughout the evening. Even with how busy El Paso was that weekend, we never felt rushed or overlooked. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and it ended up being one of our favorite dining experiences of the trip. If I return to El Paso in the future, Neighbor Good Kitchen & Bar will definitely be on my list of places to visit again.

For starters the atmosphere was so cute. Absolutely loved the bar and hanging pots everywhere. Such a clean restaurant and cute vibe. Our waitress was very nice and friendly to us. So no issues there! For drinks I got their berry lemonade which tasted just like lemon juice. I had to request for sugar to be added since it was so sour so beware. My food had came out and to be honest I'm just a little bit disappointed. The rigatoni was cooked but the sauce for it was really not tasty? Like there was almost not a flavor I can taste. Of course there was something but it was very plain and barely even there. It also was not spicy whatsoever. I added grilled chicken too and oh boy was that dry dry DRY. The burrata personally I'm not a fan in general so of course I wouldn't be a fan this time either but they gave a nice little plate full of it. They added some oiled toasted bread and it was way too crispy in my opinion. My partner got the chicken Parmesan and his dish tasted great! Very juicy chicken and cooked all the way. The sauce was perfect too nice and flavorful and great pairing with the chicken. His butter noodles were just like regular butter noodles so not bad. Finally the crème brûlée. Probably the most disappointing dish we ordered. It took repeated stabs to break the sugar glaze on top. Me and my partner were honestly thinking that they added the cream on top to hide how burnt it was actually. Unfortunately because the glaze was so thick and burnt it made the rest of the cream taste have the burnt flavor. It was sad because my partner was looking forward to this desert. Also took wayyy longer to arrive than our entrées. I will say that the waitress was very helpful and she actually covered the crème Brulé. I didn't even ask she just offered, I think she could tell that we didn't enjoy it and I had nicely told her it wasn't what we were expecting so thank you sincerely. Overall I think this is a perfect spot to maybe try drinks and hang with friends. Food was okay, wouldn't try it again in that regard but overall a decent spot here in El Paso if you're looking for something new. Maybe best to ask what's their best dish to serve. Overall thank you.
