This is a really nice little coffee shop. They serve nice breakfast and then they switch over to lunch. You can get Panini sandwiches with different kinds of bread. I had mine on a baguette. It came with a salad so that was nice because I was deciding between the two. They have all sorts of coffee drinks and other beverages. It's a clean shop with tables and also couches. Very welcoming staff. I recommend this place if you're in the area.

600 pesos and we only took a few bites.

We were very excited to taste the food here because of the reviews. I can say with certainty that this was the worst food we've had in Mexico and we've lived here for a while! The pan Frances was not cooked in the middle. The pancakes and waffles tasted like spoiled milk. They served us raw bacon. The only saving grace was the mocha frappe, it was good.

The food and atmosphere are mediocre. There are better places to eat and have coffee.

Excellent coffee place, personal attention from the owner. The Pesto sandwich is amazing! and the cappuccino coffee was excellent.

Awesome little place! Not very speedy service, but it's worth the wait! Plus it has air conditioning :-) Will definitely be back!

True to its name -- Spanish slang for "calm down" or "take it easy" or even "chill out" it is a straightforward cafe with slightly elevated prices and genuinely excellent customer service. That service, more than anything else, is what drives its strong reputation. The space inside is large enough to accommodate some decent sized groups, but due to the lack of ventilation I opted for their limited outdoor seating. It wasn't the most ideal situation, as a sign fell on top of my table, a stray dog was sniffing around, and the next door space was undergoing loud construction. We still made it work, due to the graciousness of the staff and their willingness to stay open past 4pm. Their iced latte ($70MXN), double espresso ($55MXN), and mambo smoothie ($110MXN) was the right thing to order at the time, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The latte had a good amount of milk in it, so much to the point that I was unsure about any coffee. This place is cash only and the lack of additional IVA tax charges came as a nice surprise. When I'm back in PV, I'm definitely interested in trying their brunch. The chilaquiles, breakfast tacos look fabulous, though the rest of the menu seems a bit skewed toward the gringo palate. The ultra friendly staff make this place what it is, which is worthy of many future visits.

Crispy crunchiness from the bacon, combined with eggs, greens, and tomatoes - so much healthy goodness (well, maybe except for the bacon I needed some caffeine too and satisfied that need with a Matcha Latte with Vanilla and Almond Milk - it was delectably delicious!! Because there was a nip in the air (and I'm not talking about me), it was time for a coffee break. We found this compact spot with a couple of sidewalk tables, so we decided to plant ourselves for the time being. Fortunately they had a robust coffee menu with each item in two sizes: 'chico' and 'grande'. I assumed 'chico' meant small, but it translates literally to 'boy'. Regardless, we were feeling quite 'grande' since we needed fuel for the long walk back to the hotel. Jamie ordered the MX$70 Grande Latte (Photo 3), while I went for the more bargain priced MX$45 Grande Americano (Photo 6). Both hit the respective spots of the respective recipients. Better yet, they were truly grande and lasted us through a lengthy conversation about the highs and lows of Puerto Vallarta. Rest assured It was almost all highs.
