Stopped in for a cold brew coffee because Yelp told me so. Left with a little jar of mole that I'm excited to make!! And the coffee was fantastic!! You enter through this beautifully painted orange hallway. You won't miss it!!!

My husband had the pork quesadilla and I had the mole chilaquiles. We also enjoyed a flight of the hot chocolates.

Came here for lunch at the recommendation of a local expat and enjoyed a wonderful meal. Loved it so much, we came back for breakfast and were equally pleased. If you're in the area and want to enjoy something special, make sure you stop by. Definitely a relaxed, quaint atmosphere where you feel welcomed and encouraged to linger. Highly recommend!

This is one of those hidden gems. Forgot to mention they have free wifi, outlets at almost every seat. Air conditioning when it's hot. Seats about 20 people yet it's intimate and cozy. Little free bottled water on every table, nice touch.

Clearly marked vegan options. Staff aware of what is vegan and what can be made. The vibe inside is clean and really good. The service was really great. And the best part food and beverages - there is nothing we could find that was off. The mini churros were freshly made and came to us within a minute after that. The two vegan dips - peanut butter and strawberry jelly went so well together. The family tells me the condensed milk was very good as well. The Canadiano (black) was amongst the best we have had. The brew was so smooth and tasted just perfect. No bitterness or sourness and the temperature was perfect. The vegan Iced Chai Latte with soy milk was unlike any chai latter we have had. The spices were warm and drink cold and a hint cinnamon, cardamom and cloves - OMG. We were so impressed that we came the very next day and had the same thing again.

ATMOSPHERE: Cool and clean intimate cafe with a few seats. MENU: Salads, paninis, churros, cafe-style beverages and some alcohol. DESSERT: Churro Cup Choose a gelato flavor and topping. I opted for vanilla which went well with the generous amount of mini churros piled on top and declined a topping. The churros had good, creamy flavor, but were a bit too firm for my liking either due to their thinness or simply overcooked. SERVICE: Excellent. Very welcoming and friendly with follow up in between. TIP: Closed on Tuesday's; hours are 1p - 9:50p. OVERALL: Nice variety of churro combinations.

True to its name -- Spanish slang for "calm down" or "take it easy" or even "chill out" it is a straightforward cafe with slightly elevated prices and genuinely excellent customer service. That service, more than anything else, is what drives its strong reputation. The space inside is large enough to accommodate some decent sized groups, but due to the lack of ventilation I opted for their limited outdoor seating. It wasn't the most ideal situation, as a sign fell on top of my table, a stray dog was sniffing around, and the next door space was undergoing loud construction. We still made it work, due to the graciousness of the staff and their willingness to stay open past 4pm. Their iced latte ($70MXN), double espresso ($55MXN), and mambo smoothie ($110MXN) was the right thing to order at the time, but nothing too out of the ordinary. The latte had a good amount of milk in it, so much to the point that I was unsure about any coffee. This place is cash only and the lack of additional IVA tax charges came as a nice surprise. When I'm back in PV, I'm definitely interested in trying their brunch. The chilaquiles, breakfast tacos look fabulous, though the rest of the menu seems a bit skewed toward the gringo palate. The ultra friendly staff make this place what it is, which is worthy of many future visits.

The staff were very attentive including taking my order, bringing my food, clearing my table, and bringing the check. It first started with them bringing some complimentary toasted bread with jams and butter. Since I ordered fajitas and a beer, it was a little weird to get bread, but I still ate it anyhow. The surf and turf fajitas were fresh off the plate, sizzling with envy! I would definitely come back here again next time I am in the Zona Romantica.

It was a bit of a walk, but absolutely worth it. We took a cab from the port to the Malecón Boardwalk and then hoofed it about a half-mile to Fredy's. You can tell this is a local favorite. The restaurant is lovely and inviting, and I was honestly impressed by all the vibrant colors and the incredibly beautiful wallpaper. Service was friendly and prompt, and our group of seven was seated in a cozy back corner, like we were members of a super-exclusive breakfast club. I ordered a Bloody Mary and shared the Ranchero eggs ($138 pesos). They were served just like traditional ranchero eggs: over two fried tortillas bathed in red and green sauce, accompanied by refried beans. The Bloody Mary was delicious (don't expect an American-style "salad in a glass" with a ton of garnishes--you just get a piece of celery, and honestly, that's all you need), but the Mary mix was savory and delicious. The ranchero eggs were also savory and delicious; a half order was perfect for me, especially when they give you a basket of bread with jam for the table to share (and for me to hoard). The whole table loved their meals; everybody cleaned their plates, which is the international sign for "This was a good decision." The atmosphere was so cheerful and vibrant, truly a feast for the eyes before the food even arrived! Each bite of the Ranchero eggs was a delightful mix of savory flavors, and sharing that bread basket felt like a little family moment. It's the kind of place that just makes you feel happy to be there.
