Lovely people and a lovely place. They have an extensive selection of delicious, artisanal ice creams ranging from the usual to the unusual.

The staff and kitchen crew are CONSISTENTLY AMAZING! The food was (and always is) fresh and cooked perfectly, which is hard to find with seafood sometimes- but we have been here multiple times, and they never fail! There is a GREAT VIEW from any seat in the restaurant and the vibe is exactly what you would want in this hidden gem of a fishing town! The staff is SO friendly and accommodating also, we felt welcome and not rushed! We will be back and will be ringing the bell!

It's a long drive into the middle of nowhere to a very charming beachfront town but it was a dreary and rainy day. We easily parked in the large gravel lot and walked inside and were immediately sat at a table by the water with a lovely view. Our waitress was prompt and super friendly. We chose to get the crab hush puppies and were thrilled to see they were made fresh and hot to order and tasted phenomenal. We devoured them quickly. We decided to split the fish taco meal since it was lunch for us and it came with two large-sized tacos and cole slaw. It was a nice portion for an entree and was easily enough for both of us for a lighter lunch. Really delicious sweet tea so I took some to go. Small gift shop attached and tons of seating inside and expansive views of the water with a back wall of windows all around.

She brought us a collection of their house made sauces for us to try without prompting, and we loved all of them! The server took our order, then took 33 minutes to bring our first round of drinks. Once they came she was pretty good on refills but after we'd waited for food for an hour she appeared to say that our food had been dropped in the back and so they had to redo it. this was after an hour ten minutes waiting. Another person came out to apologize and ask if there was anything they could do to help make the experience better. I had my four year old son with me who by this point was quite hungry. I asked for bread or anything fast. he said sure but nothing came. When the food did come it was bad. The cheese wasn't event melted and the burger was clearly undercooked. This restaurant has the advantage of geography; hatchery really the only other option. In any other competitive market they'd be out of business in a week. Steer clear and go to deltaville raw bar. Way better value and service.

The staff is consistently gracious and accommodating, which really sets them apart from other restaurants that seem to dread large parties. Even on a busy Friday night, we were seated in under thirty minutes. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, and handled multiple tables with ease. He stayed on top of our orders and refills, and he took allergies seriously, checking with the kitchen to make sure certain dishes were safe. That level of care is always appreciated. As always, the food was excellent. I usually go for the crabcakes, but this time I tried the special, a crowned salmon, and it was so tasty. They truly do seafood well here, and the portions are always hearty. Every experience here is consistently great. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the manager even stopped by our table to check in, which was a nice touch. I always recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Williamsburg.

I recommend ordering this dish, especially since our server deemed it as one of the restaurants signature dishes. I also had a glass of Malbec red wine, pair of quite nicely with my meal.
