What a Jewel! Exceptionally flavorful savory crepes, sweet crepes, a croissant/waffle alternative to regular crepes, coffee drinks, and more, served with Aloha by a genuinely friendly and enthusiastic owner. My daughters took me here for brunch since our former-favorite crepe joint on the south hill has closed, and Cafe Boku more than makes up for the loss. There are two types of crepes, the traditional batter, and a gluten free alternative made with tapioca flour which imparts a nice subtle nuttiness to the crepe. I got a Caprese crepe, and it was excellent, and not stingy with the balsamic glaze. One daughter got a chili chicken crepe with the GF batter and the other got a classic french-style Nutella classic. For drinks we enjoyed a Pistachio latte (like a regular latte, with added nuttiness - and crunchiness - of ground pistachios), and a couple of bright- green Pandan lattes. They offer a wide range of milk and non-dairy choices (including oat milk, and coconut milk). read more

I am loving this little crepe & coffee cafe on the north side! We need places like this up here! I have been to Boku twice and both times the staff was very friendly and helpful and actually gave me a discount for taking so long to explain the menu items to me! Amazing! They also wouldn't let me leave a tip (I will make up for it in the future ). Food is delicious whether you want savory or sweet they've got it! And the coffee is great, too! You won't find service like this anywhere else!!! Not even Chic FIL A! I never realized how much other cafes and food service places sucked before I visited here, they ACTUALLY care! And all the food is to die for! So many different crepes and something called CROFFLES to try !! My husband and tried Boku Cafe a few months ago, and we still are talking about it-- crepes are amazing, and so is there Ube coffee (more on that below). Not only is the food wonderful but so are the people here. Service is personable, and unlike any other place we've been locally-- always happy, generous and attentive. I've now both gone through the drive through and dined in, ambiance is perfect-- clean tables, nice modern feel and great lighting (this is more important than you think, trust me). The aesthetic is 10/10 for both food and interior of the cafe. As someone who grew up in an area with a lot of ube options and asian cafes, I was so excited to find something similar in the area. So if you like ube, this is your place!!! They will not disappoint. read more

This place is awesome! We stopped by hoping for some good coffee, and left completely blown away. I ordered the honey lavender, and my husband had the straight drip. Both coffees were excellent. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and recommended one side of their menu if we only wanted a snack instead of a meal (which we did). We decided to try the ube croffle, and... Wow! Imagine the best waffle you've ever had but with the delicate crispness of a croissant. And despite looking so colorful and sweet, it actually wasn't too overwhelmingly sweet at all. Didn't know I needed a croissant waffle "Croffle" in my life, until now! Oh my gosh, this was an amazing experience. The employee working, Garrett, was amazing! This was both my first time along with my friend Yesh's first time too. Garrett took his time explaining what went into what we were ordering and described the drink flavors beautifully. I ordered the Strawberry Croffle and Yesh got the Banana Croffle (instead of caramel he opted for Nutella), and he also got the Chipotle Chicken Melt. For drinks we got the Ube Latte and Peppermint Latte. We both are in agreement that the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend!! We were hesitant to try the Coconut Pandan, however after ordering Garrett brought us a sample of it! To our surprise, we enjoyed it! The presentation of the food was perfect. They would have gone with very standard circular or square plates. But they went with nice recyclable plates. They looked perfect for the food. The space/atmosphere here is very calm! Which for having breakfast at 8:30 in the morning was perfect for waking up! Definitely recommend this place and will be coming again. read more

Me and my mum go here a lot, we love all of their crepes on the menu. Very sweet staff, and the prices are good for how amazing the food is. They make quite a few different kinds of arrangements of crepes too, they're decorative ones are beautiful, and croffles are delicious as well! I'm not sure where they get their creme or if they make it, but either way I love it! The drinks are great as well. I love the hot chocolate, and I've been told the coffee is great too. Also reasonably priced. Staff is amazing. We've been going for over a year now, and everyone I've talked to their is very nice and welcoming. If they get an order wrong, they are always quick to fix it and make it up to you (although that doesn't happen very much). Sometimes there can be a bit of a wait, but considering they're making full on crepes while also managing a drive thru is amazing to me. I definitely don't mind the wait. If you're really in a hurry though, they aren't as busy early in the morning when they open. Seriously I can't give this place enough praise. Spokane needed more affordable (good) crepes and now we have some! read more
