Stopped by this place to get our boba fix on Wednesday afternoon. It was lively with lots of people but there was no line. Service was quick and drinks came out pretty fast. As we were leaving the Hilo farmers market we looped around and ended up exiting Hilo and different way, then we entered the town. Upon doing so we found this cute little Boba café shop that I never knew was there before. We pulled in and surprisingly there was a line of people in front of us waiting for drinks. they have two different menus and apparently you can order online as well. We got our Boba in a reasonable amount of time. I was also surprised to see they had a number of different types of Panini sandwiches. People could also order. The people in front of us ordered a handful of different sandwiches so I think that's why our drinks took a little bit longer to make. I got a Lilikoi smoothie with popping Lilly and it was delicious and hit the spot on such a hot humid day and Hilo. My boyfriend got a Jasmine green tea with Boba and he enjoyed that as well. My son's friend got a mango Jasmine green tea and said that one tasted as normal as it did in the states and he liked it. So we will definitely go back next time where in Hilo! read more

I ordered the cafe boba because they have a list of the top 10favs people get and it was listed as #1. Tastes like real coffee with boba. The boba texture is amazing and the taste as well. My husband ordered the taro milk tea with boba and was disappointed. Tastes very sugary and powdery. We've had taro bubble tea in New Zealand and on Oahu that had pieces of real taro. And wasn't as cold as he'd like for an iced drink. They were very busy, so that's always a good sign. The cashier was nice but didn't explain or give us the option to have more or less sugar in our drink or other customizable options. If you aren't a regular bubble tea drinker you wouldn't know you can do that. You also have to specify that you want boba in your drink which makes it a little confusing because you'd think a boba cafe drink would automatically come with the boba... All in all cute local cafe. I'm a boba lover so had to tryout the milk tea at their new location. My usual go to spot is Teapresso but since they moved locations Cafe Boba is a little more convenient for me. Thai milk tea with boba is my usual drink to compare the quality and although its not quite as good at teapresso it does rank as the second best option in town. Boba was fresh and soft and the only knock on the Thai tea is that its overly sweet so if I come here again I'll ask for 75% sweet. Friendly service and prices are just a tad bit higher than teapresso. read more

Fresh fruit , matcha ice cream, Condense milk, beans, Mochi. If you're missing halo halo or Taiwanese icee desserts , their shave ice hits the spot, esp. for wimpy tourists too hot on the island and need to cool off. Taro smoothie also good not too sweet. Jasmine milk tea is good. They have alternative milks a plus and also allows sugar levels choice. The friendliest service and the best drinks on Hilo... Hands down. Their drinks are ALWAYS CONSISTENT no matter who makes them.
