The French toast just tasted like toasted brioche bread (unfortunately). The syrup did the heavy lifting along with the strawberries to make it good. Not telling my age......but I've been around for a while! Never in my life have I ever seen scrapple stand up (see photo). It was hard! Crispy like a potato chip!
