The best restaurant on the shoreline. Excellent food at a fair price. The wine pour is the best I've seen in the area. Real silver and linen with a classy atmosphere. Rich the server is great. The hostess with the black hair is the best - takes good care of us. The fast jazz music has to go. Not conducive for a nice dinner out. Some Sinatra or Bennet or soft piano music would be much better. That aside - I HIGHLY RECCOMEND THIS RESTAURANT.

I have a lot of conflicting feelings about this place. First, it was a beautiful space with an excellent location. Definitely a nice space for a dinner or drink at the bar. We ordered garlic bread, chicken parm, salmon, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and two drinks. As excited as we were to have the meal we weren't blown away. The garlic bread was good. The artichoke hearts didn't come as expected and were okay. The chicken parm was your typical chicken parm with sparse sauce on the pasta. My friend had the salmon and it had a sauce that was tasty (reminded us of lobster bisque). The chocolate cake was pretty, but they cheesecake was very good. My friend both drinks were delicious. We split everything except for our mains. My friend woke up this morning very sick and the only thing she ate that I didn't was the salmon. She did give the restaurant a call. The staff was nice and again it was a beautiful space. I don't think it lived up to what it was described. But each experience is different.

    Lemon Butter, barrimundi

Our waiter Justin was very nice and sociable. Fried calamari and lemon butter barrumundi and rice pudding all of them were fabulous. I liked the paintings and all of the award plaques on the wall. very nice will be coming back again

I here for a seminar that provided a meal. I got a salad, entree and dessert. First of all they served a nice hard crusted bread that comes from New York. It was so very good. I then got a salad that was fresh and crisp. My meal was chicken marsala, which was good. The waitress name was Karen and I can't say enough about how good the service was. The restaurant is conveniently located in the center of the town. I didn't see a parking lot so I had to park on the street.

Amazing place, beautiful setting and authentic Italian! Linda is great! Gave us great concert recommendations as well

Surf and turf... it was good, but not $60 good. I got the bill and almost fell over

Good food... but some crazy prices. Ordered Surf and Turf special.. (they don't tell you the price). Figured $45 maybe.... Nope, $60. Small lobster tail and maybe a 6oz steak. I could have had a massive plate at a seafood restaurant... plus more

First, a shout out to Justin, our server. You're a consumate professional and made our experience a lot of fun! We were all amazed at all of the specials available. They all sounded so good All of our party of 4 were very pleased with our selections We were seated in the front room adjacent to the bar. I liked being there. The atmosphere had a nice vibe. Thanks for a great experience.

Seafood risotto: Very disappointing. Most of it got thrown out

My family and I have been here a couple of times and have not been super impressed. The seafood risotto I had is nothing like any risotto I've ever had and was really disappointing. The whole thing was just weird(picture posted.) I ended up throwing most of it out. My family seemed to enjoy their chicken parm, but weren't overly impressed.

Great food, and kind service! We stopped in for a quick drink and a small bite before dinner time. Got the meatballs as a side they are huge and their Sunday sauce is delicious. The place was very clean and the bartender made us feel welcomed even just a our snack

We were pleasantly surprised by the array of cooked choices. My husband loved the chicken meal. I had the chef's broccoli salad. Really yummy & innovative. The cutlets were crispy! Their menu is HUGE and will have something for quite literally everybody, whether you're into pizza, wraps, panini, or salads. This made it super tough to decide what to get, however. After checking out their Yelp page I decided to go with "The Boss." SO good. It had penne alla vodka, chicken cutlet, and some very fresh mozz. My only complaint is that I wish I had some chili flakes to add a bit more of a kick. Everything meshed so well together and I totally see myself recreating this as my next hangover cure. Additionally, we tried the potato salad. I am SO picky about potato salad and was literally dancing when I took a bite (please tell me someone relates to the happy food shakes). The potatoes were cooked to perfection and I loved how it had red peppers in it! The staff was friendly and the place was clean and well-ran. I went at peak lunch hour and was still served within 15-20 minutes, super impressive! Will need to go again when back in the area.

We walked in and were instantly greeted and ushered to a table that was the right size for our little group. The service throughout the night was amazing, the food was delicious and appropriately hot, and the beverages were perfect. The staff was very knowledgeable and had no issues answering any questions. Once the food landed on the table, there was that kind of silence that can only mean that everyone was too busy enjoying the food to talk at all. Once the forks had settled, we all had nothing but compliments! After we had finished, we noticed that the whole place had cleared out. We chatted with the manager for a minute and gave praises to the service and food, and he said that he closes a bit early so that his staff can go home to spend the holiday with their families, which was admirable! I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about our experience and we're all looking forward to next year already! Needless to say, this will continue to be where we will celebrate every Christmas Eve from now on!

Located in Clinton Connecticut, this mainstay restaurant came highly recommended by many of my friends. I pulled in and parking was a breeze, even though it was busy. This parking lot was big. Lots of handicapped spaces also. My friend and I went in and we were greeted warmly, and promptly seated Knowing portions were big, but not realizing how big they would be we passed on appetizer. This is where it gets good! My friend ordered lasagna, and I ordered the eggplant Parmesan. We also ordered water, Immediately out came the salads that were included with the meals. These salads were medium sized, and we're probably good enough for just a lunch! Tomatoes, cucumbers, chopped lettuce, and a very nice house dressing, consisting of a creamy garlic, which was delicious. After salad was done our fantastic waitress brought us a big bowl of pasta and sauce. I could've made a meal out of this! This wasn't just any run of the mill, this was delicious pasta and sauce. Oversized entrées were next on the Bill and I ate probably 1/5 of the eggplant Parmesan. It was huge. I think three or four people could've split this. My friend ate probably about the same of the lasagna. For dessert, we split a Reesie's chocolate pie that was very, very sweet creamy, and hit the spot with the chocolate sauce and whip, whipped cream around the plate Bag probably weighed at least 7 pounds. We brought home the pasta, the lasagna, and the eggplant Parmesan. I loved the eggplant Parmesan. I make a pretty mean Parmesan, but this eggplant Parmesan was on point. It just exploded with great Italian flavors My friend liked the lasagna, as she said it was very, very nice I'm still raving about the big bowl of pasta that came with the meal. Dinner with the tip which included the two big meals which I think were 24.95 each along with the dessert and the big bowl of pasta was roughly $80 and change. This was a deal of deals. There will be meals during the coming week. If you're at the shore and you need takeout, this will be good for the week. I love this I am now a big fan and I look forward to returning in the spring when the weather gets nice All in all, I wonder what took me so long to come to The Log Cabin!

Four of us decided to have dinner here on a Saturday night. Lorenzo's does a heavy takeout business, but they have a small but cozy cafe-style dining room. Four of us were seated upon entry. Lorenzo's serves pizza as their main food, but they also have entrees that many local Italian restaurants have. My wife and I decided to split a "large house salad" and order a small red sauce pizza with sausage, peppers, eggplant, onion, and Mozzarella cheese. Our friends ordered soup, a side of meatballs, an alfredo dish, and baked ziti. In general, food was very good. The large house salad lived up to its name, a huge portion, featuring lettuce, carrots, tomatoes, eggplant, and cucumbers. It was more than enough to split. Dressing was served on the side. The small pizza had crispy crust. It had lots of content, and the ingredients were quality. It tasted really good, overall, though the onions appeared to be a cooked-up garnish. Baked ziti was a huge portion. The service was friendly and yet very professional. Requests for clean plates were honored, for the many courses. We liked that a delicious tapenade was brought out with the fresh and crusty bread. We also liked our cheesecake dessert, which we split. Our friends had recent birthdays, so the staff sent them a dessert of "flan" which had a lit candle. Be aware that they do not have a license to serve liquor, but they will do setups. We had a lovely time here at Lorenzo's 2. Prices were very reasonable. We are very tempted to return for more.
