Sweet Heat Sandwich (croissant, sausage, egg, pepper jack, and honey)

Super cozy, went almost every day during undergrad. Good prices, and everything I've tried was great. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches and turkey club wrap especiallya amazing. Their cold brews, lattes, and hot coffee is also real good. Food is always out quick and the employees are all very nice! I definitely recommend trying it out! You can go for a quick bite or stay and enjoy the atmosphere.

That's feisty chicken wrap was bust'in man. I'm by far not a fan of mushrooms at all nor feta cheese but this wrap contained it all and I am a fan of it. The spicy feta and mushrooms complimented the wrap so well along with the flavored tomato basil wrap itself. The wait time was fast and the people were nice and I recommend trying something new at this place

Going to a cafe and NOT reviewing the coffee seems odd--I know, but I really don't think this is the place for bean connoisseurs anyways. Here's my take: I have never been to this cafe, but I let my intern pick a place near CSU campus that would be easier for him to pop into for a meeting between classes. When he picked Cafe Ah-Roma I made these assumptions without even looking at the Yelp reviews: 1) It's a campus cafe 2) It will be busy 3) There will be lots of quick food items for lunching students on the go 4) And there will most likely be plenty of seating and outlets for school work 5) This is not a fancy cafe, nor will it likely boast house-roasted arabica bean pour overs or $8 fancy espresso drinks 6) The coffee drinks will be geared towards your average, young adult/ student, who's in for the caffeine, not the recognition of buying the most expensive, fancy, local coffee in town. All of those things were correct. Does it make this place bad? Not at all. In fact, it seemed quite popular amongst students of all sizes, shapes, etc. It was PACKED midday on a Tuesday, but there were still places to sit and plug in. I had a plain coffee, which was tasty, and a veggie sandwich. They have plenty of healthy and not-so-healthy lunch items that are made to order quickly. If you're looking for a sophisticated, brag-worthy, snobby coffee experience--we've got plenty of local joints around CLE that will tickle your fancy. But if you're coming here for a place to grab a quick caffeine jolt, a hot sammie or healthy wrap and some space to group-study with fellow CSU students? This is right up your alley. P.S. Can the City of Cleveland PLEASE--FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY--get on board with CSU's awesome parking meter system?! It's similar to those in other big cities, like Chicago, where you don't have to be stuck in 1932 carrying around pockets full of loose change. You can use a credit card at the pay station when you park in their metered, street parking spots! GASP!

I have to say that Cafe Ah-Roma is by far my favorite spot for coffee and a quick bite to eat. They have a full range of wraps and salads as well as some quick breakfast items like bagel w/eggs. They also offer cookies, scones, and a few other sweet treats. The coffee is outstanding and is 100% fair trade. The atmosphere of the cafe itself can't be beat, it's a relaxed, visually appealing place to do some work, chat with friends, or just decompress. In addition, in warmer weather there's outdoor seating in the patio/garden right next to Trinity Cathedral, it's just a great space. I've been a customer of the cafe now for years and it is still my favorite of anywhere I've ever been. The food is great, the coffee outstanding, and the staff is friendly and even remembers your name and what you like to order.

Everyone behind the counter was friendly, and I just loved the atmosphere. I ordered a hot chai latte, and since I don't like cinnamon on top, I asked if they could hold it if they normally dust it--they were more than happy to accommodate! I also got a raspberry danish, and both were delicious. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area!

The menu is full of unique drink options, lots of flavors and combinations to choose from. Staff was super friendly and welcoming. And the space itself was great, plenty of comfortable seating to choose from and free WiFi to get some work done. I got a peanut butter and latte jelly, the barista convinced me to give it a try. I'm so glad she did, because it was delicious. It tasted like an actual PB&J sandwich, but still had a coffee-forward overall flavor; very hard to put into words, but definitely a winner. They use real peanut butter as part of the latte, along with two shots of espresso that had me bouncing off the walls later. If you're looking for a neighborhood coffee shop vibe and unique drinks, definitely come here!

I had never had Yemeni coffee before so I asked the barista for suggestions. Based on the fact that I wanted to also try one of their beautiful milk cakes (like a tres leches), I opted for the Mufawar coffee since he said it was less sweet and a bestseller. It was served on an adorable bamboo tray, piping hot and very strong! It had a unique flavor and paired well with my saffron milk cake. Yes...I said saffron. I was very hesitant to try this after he described saffron to me, so I actually got both saffron and biscoff milk cakes. Wow, this man knew his stuff! The saffron milk cake was absolutely scrumptious!!! And who doesn't love a biscoff cookie?! I had to take that one to go. I hope to return to Cleveland soon so I can try the pistachio latte (a sweeter coffee) and possibly a different flavor of milk cake. The coffee shop was quite large, bright, and tastefully decorated with lots of gold accents. I loved my experience there!

The Cowboy Cold Brew was such a treat: a combination I have never tried, but it worked surprisingly well. It was like a root beer and a cold brew were mixed together for a refreshing drink with very familiar yet unique flavor. It was also such a treat when I turned the cup around and saw the "yeehaw" written on it :-) I also tried the everything bagel with honey brie walnut cream cheese, and whoever is supplying Cleveland with these specialty cream cheeses knows what they're doing! I wrote a review of the Cleveland Heights Koko Bakery a few years ago but I finally checked out the main location in Cleveland's Asiatown on a Sunday afternoon in Spring 2026. It's cute, cramped, and very popular! The aesthetics at the other location are a bit better though. More seating too. I was in the area and just stopped by for a quick treat. In a space no bigger than my basement, I swear there were like 30 Gen-Zers enjoying some $7 bubble tea and picturesque desserts. There wasn't much left in the baked goods container when I was there but I picked up a matcha red bean bun ($2.25) to eat for dinner later. There was still quite a bit of stuff in the desserts case though! There is a minimum $5 purchase for credit cards so I paid in cash. The treat was good and held up well for a few hours when I finally ate it. The food here is quite cheap although the drinks are not.
