Thankfully, this time around, the espresso was actually IN my cup, so I was grateful for that, however, the drink itself was just very bland in flavor and not something I'd ever pay for again. The strawberry muffin was pretty good, I just wish it had strawberry pieces inside the actual muffin as well. Just like the Collierville location, the inside and outside is cute and it would be an excellent place to hang out and get some work done on your laptop or just hang with some friends. The barista was also very sweet. If it wasn't for the barista and how the place looks, this would've received a 1 star from me for the muffin and that's all. Unfortunately, I won't be coming back and giving this place a 3rd try. Side note, I worked in a local cafe for a long time and one of our main attractors was the fact that we had a list of drinks you can order. This coffee shop does not have that. There's chalkboards just explaining what they have on hand in terms of syrups and then you basically build your own flavor combo, which is nice as a side option, HOWEVER, not nice when you have new people coming in trying to check out your drinks. The owner replied to my last review basically brushing me off and being rude, so if that's the case with this review too, you can save yourself the trouble.

The table was not wiped off, the water was out, and the trash was overflowing to the point it was piled so high that adding any more would tip out. I could hear them chatting the whole time in the back and whenever I walked up I would find one or two of them leaning against a wall or sitting down and she would help with whatever I asked but like I didn't see any of them come out to check the dining area at any point in the hour we were there with our friends. They'd come out to refill the water or to deliver food or to take my trash (but not empty the actual trash???) but never to like wipe down the tables or do any of the things I usually see people doing. It was odd. Also, weird question but why is there a mint dispenser that doesn't work? It doesn't have a sign. I don't care about the 50c and once I noticed how dirty it was I was concerned about eating anything that did come out- luckily nothing did because now I wonder how old those are... so uhhhh why is that there? One of the girls mentioned someone wouldn't remove it and that it was from "before" so I guess from whatever this place was previously? Anyway, the menu was also odd. They only had one that we could use at our table so our friends and I had to swap it back and forth. Some things were whited out, which is fine, but then there were things without prices next to them, which is not fine. I am not a big fan of surprises in pricing. The menu listed build your own options, but not prices next to things. I ended up picking some things for a burrito and having to ask what the price was before I committed. It ended up tasting fine and I even liked the salsa it came with. However, everyone in my party agreed that they did not like that aspect. It actually deterred my friends from ordering from that menu. I was also deterred but they were out of pesto so I couldn't get the turkey sandwich I wanted. They messed up my husbands order but fixed it, thankfully. But again, it was just odd. Instead of pepperjack cheese they sprinkled pepper on top and used jack cheese. The one girl apologized profusely. At the end of the day, there were just too many things that were odd or off-putting here to myself and my friends. We will be trying a different coffee shop next time they're in town.

I highly recommend their summer matcha with rhubarb! It had the right amount of sweetness and was absolutely delicious! We came right before they closed at 4pm, so service was very quick and easy. My kids loved the trinket trading box outside and I always love the vibe of this place. It makes me think of the coffee shops I read about in books. We will be back!

This place is a refuge from the hustle of most coffee shops and features indoor and outdoor seating. One thing to note: if you're in a hurry, come on a day when you have time. The coffee is decent and the baked goods/food are excellent. Baked goods come from Sweet Lala's and their biscuits are a standout: buttery, flaky, and fresh. The staff are especially welcoming, which makes a bigger difference than people realize. The space is dialed in too--plenty of comfortable seating, tons of natural light, and just enough ambient noise from the nearby co-working areas to stay focused without it feeling dead quiet. Really tasty. For lunch we had the chicken salad. I ate half of my sandwich that was on sourdough bread and took the other half home. It was delicious. My friend ordered the half chicken salad on croissant and half salad that had lettuce and tomatoes and some Parmesan cheese. She would have liked some cucumbers in the salad as well and maybe a little bit of red onion. Both of ours tasted quite yummy. I am sure we will return to this area to try some other coffees.
