The curry soup should have a bite it doesn't do nothing no protein. The service at the window and vehicle delivery was friendly I got the creamsicle drink that was the best thing on the menu and a bottle of water. Can't speak much on the ambiance other than it's clearly newly built. Our Favorite One!) This is hands down our favorite Zupa's, and honestly one of our go-to spots in Verrado. We've been here more than 20 times, and it's consistently great. Food Quality Everything here is fresh and reliable: * Salads are crisp and built exactly how you order them * Sandwiches come out the same every time (no surprises or weird variations) * The breads are soft and fresh * And the soups? Completely addictive. Everyone in our family has a favorite, and we each stick to our regulars every time we go Cleanliness & Service The store is usually very clean and well-kept. There have been a few times where they were out of straws or utensils, but once I pointed it out, staff restocked it pretty quickly. There was also one time I had to go back and forth with an employee who tried to short me on a build-your-own salad--but that was a one-off. Other than that, the service has been friendly and fast. Parking Warning The only real complaint we ever have is about the parking lot. It's tight and often full, especially during lunch or dinner rush--thanks to the crowd at Cheeseburgers & Beers next door. Those customers park all around Zupa's too, so it gets frustrating trying to find a spot. Bottom Line: Zupa's Verrado is consistently fresh, clean, and satisfying. The staff is always very friendly, but the management apparently needs some work. They repeatedly mess up our order, or an item is totally missing. When I get home and realize the mistake, they apologize and say they will refund the card on file. But they never do. Tried calling to speak with manager, but manager is never available. It's bad enough when your order is messed up, but then they screw up the promised refund. You can do better. read more

Cafe zupas is a great place to go if you want something fast, and expensive, and healthy, they have a variety of soups, salads, powerballs, and sandwiches. You can order a try to bundle, which is either soup in a sandwich or soup in a salad. It's really quite a bit of food for a pretty low price. Every meal comes with a roll and a chocolate dip strawberry. It's nice to have that sweet treat at the end of a meal. The restaurant decor is contemporary, with quite a bit of seating. read more

Why do I keep coming back!? Last week I get there to pick up my order and they said it wasn't quite ready yet and they were just packaging it up. I said no problem and I waited in the reserved spot for........ 20 MINUTES. I finally go inside to see what was going on and my bag was just sitting there on the shelf. Then tonight. I've had a crap day I got home late from sitting in traffic so I order zupas for an easy meal to grab on my way home... food was ready. Awesome. I get home and it's the wrong soup. A soup I don't care for either! I ordered the Chris and I got something completely different! This isn't the first time my order has been wrong but I let it go. Not this time! I worked fast food when I was a teenager. I know what it's like but this is just ridiculous! This is also why I stopped tipping! The auto add tip on the app is also BS and comes off kind of sneaky! You have to change it to zero each time. With the track record of this place I don't think they deserve a tip. The service isn't great. read more

It's an average experience, and 3 stars feels about right. The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere is pleasant, and parking is a breeze, but the food leaves much to be desired. I expected more--larger portions, and maybe better knife work. I'm in the food industry, so I noticed the shortcuts, like the pre-diced, frozen chicken breast. While it's tender and totally fine, at this price point, I was hoping for freshly cooked chicken and fresher avocados. The menu was another disappointment. While the photos are nice, there's no real description of what's in each bowl. It's confusing, especially with so many ingredients, and I found myself staring at the images, trying to figure it out. Thankfully, I have good eyesight, but a simple list of ingredients next to each item would go a long way in making things clearer. I'll start off by saying I LOVE Zupas! Today a co-worker was having a birthday so I splurged and bought us all Zupas. I did an online order - it told me order would be ready at 10:51 am - I left work and gave them a little extra time because I didn't think it'd actually be ready. I got there in the drive up / pick up line at 11:05. The employee at the window said they were just finishing it up & would bring it out in a few minutes. At 11:15 I got a text saying my order was ready for pickup. I waited 5 minutes before I went in & stood there watching as they were completing it. I went back to my car & they brought it out @ 11:20 they told me that we were just waiting on the Strawberries & they'd be right back out. I then waited until 11:31 (40 minutes after it was supposed to be ready for pick up) and walked in, as they were just coming out with the 2 cups of strawberries. I called in as I was leaving to speak to the manager to let him know how long I waited - I told him that I was calling in to advise him - I didn't talk to him in the restaurant because I didn't want it to seem like I was expecting something for free, just thought he'd want to know. To say he couldn't give a care in the world about it would be very generous - he clearly didn't care - didn't ask anything extra & mumbled that they sometimes get behind (or something to that effect). In the end, I got to work (very late), and was yet again disappointed - my sandwich was probably one that was ready at 10:51 - it was a greasy, cold mess. Passing out the food, turns out the order wasn't even completed - missing a drink!!! Horrible experience, Buckeye Zupas. I will never order from there again. read more

The food is so good every time I come here, but after today I'm not so sure about the service. The man that helped me was a bit condescending when he told me that usually we start the order at the other end of the counter, which I knew along with the fact that what I wanted required no customization or salad and therefore I knew where I needed to be. And secondly I was given my food to-go, despite not having requested it that way, so I felt ushered to leave and did so. I like to hit this location on my way home to California. This place is great. The food is so delicious and fresh. Creating my own salad is my favorite thing on the menu. The strawberry dressing is delicious. This location is perfectly set up with lots of tables and seating. The dining room is clean. But even better, there's a drive thru. The service is great. The workers are so friendly. I was with my mom on this particular trip, she ordered the wrong sandwich and they were so polite and quick to fix her mistake. It didn't even feel like I was an inconvenience thanks to their friendliness. Anyways, 10/10 recommend. I sent the rest of my family to go try it on their way out of AZ. Overall it is a good treat and seems to be more on the healthy side which is good. Service is okay, but can be a bit slow at times. Stopped by last night to check out the menu and dropped in today in the Verrado area of Buckeye. It's new, bright , and colorful, and the employees are friendly. I chose the pick 2, small bowl soup, and a sandwich ( or salad). My other half went with a large bowl, lobster bisque soup, and 2 large drinks. The food was ready pretty quickly, so we didn't get to talk much,lol. I took one sip and had to ask if hubby his soup was salty like mine. It was. Now, I really wanted to like this place, but all I could taste was salt. Killed the flavor for me. I tried my hot sandwich and sad face here. The sandwich bun was cold, and the chik'n patty was warm. I just figured a hot sandwich would have a toasted bun. OK, so for Hubs, too much sodium is bad. High blood pressure, no Bueno. Too much salt, no Bueno, also. I wish I could rate the place higher, but 3 is about as high as I can go. The employees are friendly and helpful, and that's why. I'm sorry I didn't check reviews to see if any else had salt/sodium issues. Or check the Website for info. If you're watching sodium intake, be warned. My guy has a thing. Was my First time trying this place and I must say The Food is Good I Had a salad and love that you get a chocolate dipped strawberry and the salad came with a piece of bread. The Ambience was nice not too noisy and you actually could have a good conversation without speaking loud the Service was great I would recommend this place. This was my first experience at Cafe Zupa's and likely to be my last. The lady at the driveway-thru was very pleasant but the food experience was nearly unbelievable. I ordered the Southwest Potato and Green Chili soup. The soup was full of potatoes and nothing else. (See description attached) No green chiles, no cilantro, no southwestern spices I could discern, no cabbage, and no chopped bacon. There were two kernels of corn I was able to find, and they indeed appeared to have been fire-roasted. The included 'baguette' could not have been any less appealing; cold and dry. The chocolate-covered strawberry was the only reason I gave this two stars. What a disappointment. It just seems to me that in this post-pandemic world, we are all supposed to be happy with substandard product and service. And tip for it. read more

My family has only passed by this place so far but we decided soup and some easier, healthier options sounded good, today, since we're feeling a little under the weather. Four meals were ordered, supposedly coming with a baguette and strawberry as a side, all of them had modifications. Three meals arrived, no sides, and one modification out of five were done. The bag had no seal or markings of how many bags or items should have been in my order and I confirmed with the delivery guy if it was everything when he handed me one small bag because it seemed odd for all the food we had ordered. He said that was all they gave him. The food that we did receive was okay. The three soups that we received definitely needed bread- regardless of the missing add ons. I'm not sure if we'll try again in person. I feel like care for all customers orders, in person or not, should be taken. read more

I have been here before and love the menu selections but have noticed it is dirty. I don't know if they don't have enough workers but I am not just talking about dirty plates on tables, napkins on the floor..even the soda machine area, windows, where they make the food. Was hoping to rate higher. I had the chicken bbq salad. It was fresh but really skimpy. I think I did see a couple kernels of corn and black beans. The food is pretty decent. I always get the nourish bowl, which I've never been disappointed with. My wife always gets the 'Chris' soup, which is a blend of their tomato and cauliflower cheese soup. I prefer just the cauliflower. Can't complain either way. Another guiltless place to dine out that is fast and casual. Cafe Zapas food is excellent in my opinion- but the staff always seem confused by the orders. Like, I only do the salad type of mentality. It seems like you could easily implement calling out orders so the front of the line is on the same page as the end of the line. "Disorganized" is my overall feeling when I go here. read more

This location appears to be a little slow still (newly opened). It took about 20 minutes to get thru the line to order. The service was still good. My family and I ate out here with some friends this past weekend and we all enjoyed it. I had the soup and sandwich combo and my kids who are 4 and 2 split the kids combo. My only complaint is that the Mac and cheese is really more of a soup than actual Mac and cheese. This is one of the items I got for my kids. Service was also a little disorganized most likely due to this location being newer, but it was still fast. My husband said the pulled pork sandwich and pumpkin soup were both delicious.
