Strawberry harvest salad

To pay $13 for a large salad and there be so much empty space is really disappointing. I love this salad but if I'm not there this happens every time. And only at this location

California cobb

Easy lunch today at Zupas. I like that the salads are made fresh and can be customized. Today's menu was the California cobb salad and lobster bisque soup. I opted for no chicken and bacon in my salad so they subbed it with extra egg. I had asked for the vinegrett that comes with it but they mistakenly gave me the ranch. I did try to eat it cause I didn't want to complain but I ended up having them remake it. The gal that helped be was really sweet about it, remade it and brought it out to me. The soup was tasty as usual. I appreciate that they are so consistent with their portion sizes. Lunch was great today.

So, this is so insanely unsanitary

Insanely unsanitary, i'm only writing this review because their food is so good and I want them to improve

Power Bowl with extra chicken

First time here. Hard to know what comes on each entree by just looking at the pictures. I thought I was getting a bowl with rice base but it was Lettuce. Either way, I was good with it! Food was good, quick and friendly service. Love the calorie and protein per serving right up front! I'll be back to try more options for sure! Plenty of seating.

Came here during one of my work trips. The service was very good and the place was very clean. I usually love coming to this restaurant because they are pretty consistent. The very berry salad is delicious and so is the brisket sandwich. Of course I love the free bread and strawberry that you get with every meal. Totally a place to stop if you are feeling a sandwich or a soup.

That is not easy to do in today's business environment of chain restaurants and post pandemic failures. Interesting menu. Our dinner started with spring greens salad. Side dressing is smart of them to do. Kimberly was an all star server. See photos and receipt for details of our meal. There were almost no empty tables during our visit at 630 on a Thursday. Thoughtful owner provides a complimentary small scoop of sherbet as a palate cleanser at the end of the experience. Interior very cozy & is nicely decorated with a very nautical theme. One wall makes the space appear to be along a street of a fishing village. Very creative. About 15 tables. Cool fish tank. Ring the ship's bell as you enter. Plenty of off-street parking.

This place had been on my "try someday" list forever whenever I was over in this area, mostly…read morebecause people talk about the halibut constantly. Walking in, it honestly felt a little more kitschy strip mall seafood spot than I expected -- huge menu, lots of combinations, kind of that Cheesecake Factory energy where there are SO many options you stop knowing what the specialty is supposed to be. I ordered the cioppino and that was probably the biggest letdown for me. The broth was really thin and soupy without much depth. Weirdly, even the frozen Trader Joe's cioppino has more richness and flavor going on. We also tried the halibut fish and chips and they were... fine? Not bad, not amazing, just kind of middle-of-the-road for the price point. That said, I do think this might just be one of those places where you order very specifically. Everyone seems to swear by the halibut plates with sauces, so next time I'd probably try something like the lemon caper version instead. But at around $35 for some of the plates, I kept thinking I'd personally rather go get sushi somewhere or have two really good craft cocktails instead. Still glad we finally tried it though because it had been on my local Boise food list forever.

We were traveling through Boise, spending the night and decided to have some ethnic food. A Yelp…read moresearch showed Kabob House to have great ratings, so we decided to stop by. There is plenty of parking space in front and we were able to find several items from their extensive menu of Afghan and Persian food and ordered a few for us. All of the appetizers and entrees we ordered were delicious. The desserts were oh so sweet and tasted great with the tea they served. The good atmosphere, great food and fantastic customer service make this a place I would want to go back to again. Very highly recommended!

We were greeted immediately by the owner, who shook our hands, introduced himself, and instantly made us feel welcome. Like... genuinely welcome, not "hi table for two" welcome. When we were shown to our table, I noticed the raised platform where you can sit on the floor and was like, oh absolutely yes. We asked if we could sit there and suddenly we had this whole cozy room to ourselves. He even drew the curtain so it felt private and special -- chef's kiss. The food was incredible. The chicken marsala was out-of-this-world good, the naan was warm and delicious, and the kebabs were fresh with perfectly seasoned, tender meat. Everything tasted thoughtful and made with care. But the real standout? The service. Hands down. The owner kept checking in on us, making sure we were good, asking if we needed anything, joking with us -- just the right balance of attentive and chill. By the end of the night, he even shared a bit of his story and talked about where he lived in Afghanistan, which made the whole experience feel even more meaningful. We laughed, we lingered, we had the best time. If you're looking for something a little different, a little special, with incredible food and even better hospitality -- this is it. Go hungry, go curious, and don't skip the floor seating if you get the chance.

The burger itself was outstanding--perfectly cooked, incredibly juicy, and packed with flavor in every bite. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the toppings were balanced just right without overwhelming the burger. Even the bun was soft yet held everything together perfectly, which is something a lot of places overlook. What really stood out was the attention to detail across the whole meal. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, and everything came out hot and fresh without a long wait. It's clear this place cares about consistency and customer experience. Whether you're just stopping in for a quick bite or looking for a go-to burger spot, this place absolutely delivers. We will definitely be coming back again and recommending it to anyone who appreciates a truly great burger. Location is fun with other restaurants nearby. Must visit!
