Saint Jacques Au Safron. The leeks were brilliant and LOVED the yellow saffron sauce.
Robert M.

First night in Paris and this is where we landed. It was a VERY romantic spot with a highly engaged staff. It must be a tourist spot because everyone around us was speaking English and the staff were way better than my French. The food was good and the setting was romantic. Can't go wrong in this "down the fairway" French restaurant. I went with the "Formula Ete - Plat et Dessert". Basically a dinner special of an entree and dessert. For the entree I went with the Saint Jacques Au Safran. The leeks were brilliant but the scallops just weren't that well prepared. Scallops have a VERY tight tolerance of cooking and the poor lad held them in the heat too long. Tasty, but not what I had hoped. For dessert, I went with the "Tarte Fine Aux Pommes". It was a very nice apple tart with an even better dollop of praline ice cream. We also had a good bottle of Sancerre which elevated the entire game.

Beef filet

Our first restaurant in Paris and it didn't disappoint. We had an amazing server who was very kind. We ordered the biratta and ravioli for starters, then the beef filet and turbo fish dish, all of which was very tasty. We would come again.

Duck liver

It was the night before we left Paris. It was raining lightly, and we took the subway to this small restaurant. The street where this restaurant located was very quiet with few people. The restaurant environment was great! The food was delicious! Hope to eat again next time I go to Paris.

Lovely place, great food and service. I was in the area and this place was recommend. It made my night after a challenging travel day. The foie gras appetizer was yummy, and the tuna takaki was delicious! Will definitely be back on my next paris trip.

Chocolate fondant

Nice restaurant. Clean and quiet, hidden in a small street. We had scallops, carpacchio for starters. The scallops were amazing! Beef for main course and chocolate fondant for dessert. It was all Great! The Staff could have been more active with our table. Took some time before we got refills between the main course and dessert. A bit expensive, a total of 165 eur for 3 course meal for 2 person with 1/2bottle wine.

We came for dinner and had a 52e menus. Great food, small place but good atmosphere. Very cozy place to take a date. I recommend the lamp, very tasty compared to the steak filet. The presentation of the dishes is very nice.

Salmon Tartare

I am a tourist.. Visited this place due to YELP recommendation.. Turns out this is way better than expected! Their salmon was fresh and tasted very good.. Steak was perfectly cooked.. And priced reasonably for a semi Fine-Dining restaurant. Service is polite and kind to tourists. I shall definitely come back again!

We very much enjoyed the food. Some of the best we have had in Paris. Could have been 5 stars but for the typically rude waiter

Had a great meal here. Fillet steak and had the apple tart as a dessert. Great wine too. Bit pricey however.

These smaller bistro type eateries are the lifeblood of the local cuisine. They consistently offer reasonably priced dishes that are full of flavor and technique. The wine and drink options are well catered to the menu and they provide options for most price points. The service we experienced was exactly what you want... our server had plenty of suggestions based on the offerings of the day. The service was attentive and responsive... not much more than you could ask for. I had the duck breast being offered... it was served alongside crispy potatoes, green beans, and a salad. Adding in the onion soup and a glass of wine... it quickly became a King's dinner at a very reasonable price. I would be more than happy to eat here again and look forward to exploring the rest of the menu offering many local and classic French options.

Small place but the largest table had 6 locals who livened up the joint. Americans planning to be in Paris Sept 28-30 hit me up we'll meet for din din. Zig

We found Le P'tit and when we inquired if they would serve us they said yes if we ordered immediately. It was a few minutes after ten. We ordered at the bar then were seated at our tables. The waitstaff were incredibly nice. They brought whatever we needed including ketchup which, despite being American, we didn't want or need. :) The food was delicious. I had an almost perfect poached egg -just a little too cooked. They had a fair amount of vegetarian options for the person in our party to get a decent meal: eggs, salad and beignets de mozzarella, which I hate to burst your bubble in advance, is a very French and more appealing way to say Mozzarella sticks. They were still good for the record. Perhaps everyone should call them that and aim for that level of taste. Fried just right and a fair amount of cheese. I ordered the duck legs-no complaints there. It was tender and the side of potatoes weren't the top of my list for the evening but there was more than enough of them to share with others. The chocolate fondant was voted best dessert by the table. It won no contest. I'm glad we stopped in for an authentic food experience.

This place was okay, located in the Paris area yet somehow not very accommodating to tourists? So weird. Anyways, my friend and I came in here after a day of traveling and were starving. We wanted something light and decided to try the cheese that everyone talks about, and it was pretty decent. The prices were a bit wild (like everything else in Paris), but I guess that's what we get for stopping into the first place we saw on the street. The menu is pretty eclectic, so don't expect to stop in here with children and be able to get a grilled cheese and fries, it's more of that stuff that people in America eat when they come into some wealth and acquire a new money accent (you know the type).

We booked over the phone while on the Bateaux Mouches river tour as we were tired and hungry after a day of sightseeing and we wanted a neighborhood bistro for great unpretentious food where we could stagger back to our beds around the corner after. It was late when we arrived but the bistro was still bustling, our server was super friendly and the food came super fast, which was great as we were ravenous by then! We ordered what was probably one of the cheapest bottles of red wine on the menu but it was so much better than anything we pay twice the price for at home... because hey we're in France, right? Excellent food, friendly people, great service - couldn't ask for more, go there! Side note: walking past next day on way to the metro we were in need of a bathroom and the barman was so nice to let me use theirs even tho I'd just walked in off the street: I made sure after to thank him for the amazing dinner night before so he knew I'd been a customer and most important, the loos were nice and clean (again not the standard in much of Paris!) which was great as you know what they say about clean toilets = a clean kitchen!

A huge dose of fresh cracked pepper was in order, and on the creamy shallot sauce as well. The thick wedge fries were quite good, but I never turn away a fried potato. My friend's brioche toast and my creme brûlée were nice, sweet endings to the meal. Overall it was a good dinner, with very attentive service by the 2 waiters, as we were one of the few patrons on a weeknight.
