Stopped by for a quick matcha and pastry Tried the matcha latte iced with vanilla syrup / pretty good but nothing special overall and around $8 I also tried the ham and cheese croissant - delicious!! So good I ordered everything online and it was all ready once I arrived - great service Cute spot overall Inside of the hotel!

Cute brunch spot with lovely decor, great service, and delicious food. Celebrated my birthday brunch here with friends; made a reservation ahead of time and they were easily able to accommodate a party of 6. Note that for larger parties they include 20% gratuity. Everyone started with a latte (they offer various flavors made from in-house syrups and milk choices). I really enjoyed the taste of the latte but it was served colder than I liked. The food was great - I ordered the kimchi hash and it was super flavorful and filling (very generous portion sizes). Everyone else enjoyed their meals as well. While they validate parking for two hours, the information on their website about parking being $4 per hour after that for restaurant patrons is inaccurate. When we were driving out of the garage we were shocked to see a $48 bill at the machine. An attendant explained we have to tap the validated ticket twice to see the correct price, which was still $25 (the standard $12/hour charge). This parking situation was frustrating and unclear.

This would become my go-to spot for a brunch with french twist. Cafe No Se stands beautifully in SoCo and it was a breeze getting a reservation at this place. I was looking forward to this brunch because of the menu. My order: Seasonal french toast Avocado toast Coconut chai Drip coffee Cafe No Se specializes in their seasonal dishes - coconut chai especially. It brings in the flavor of coconut in a well-brewed tea and it took me back home. I wouldn't want to add sugar and have it raw just to taste all those amazing flavors. Why wouldn't I want to choose French toast because it was available only on weekends and it had peach compote and cream and sounded really exotic and it lived up to it. It was great and soft and maple syrup was great too. Avocado toast was too small and not filling but tasted regular. I loved the ambiance and the people. It was so photogenic.

I've been to Café No Sé twice now--first for dinner with friends, and more recently for Saturday brunch with my boyfriend. Both times were great, but brunch especially stood out. Even arriving around 11am on a Saturday, we only had a semi-short wait, which was impressive considering how popular the place seems to be. We were seated at a comfy booth, and everything from ordering to getting our food was surprisingly quick. My boyfriend had a blueberry muffin with cream that was absolutely delicious (highly recommend), and my golden milk latte was just as good--warm, flavorful, and not overly sweet. I ordered the bagel sandwich without salmon. There was a small mix-up at first, but the staff was quick to fix it and bring out the right version, which I appreciated. The atmosphere is stylish but relaxed, perfect for both catching up with friends or a cozy date. Definitely a go-to brunch spot in Austin. Looking forward to going back!

Came in for a weekday brunch. The service and ambiance were great. I loved the decor and dish ware. For drinks, we ordered an ube matcha and a cappuccino. The drinks were fine but nothing special. For food, we ordered the kimchi hash and salmon burger. The kimchi hash was good, I particularly liked the pork belly in it. I also liked the salmon burger, which had some added sweetness from an apple slaw. However, the star of our meal was the sweet potato pecan croissant we ordered at the very end of the meal. The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery with a delicious sweet potato filling. They make all their pastries in-house, and I will definitely be back for more.

Came to cafe no se on a Saturday at 4:30. I made a reservation ahead of time bc it was a Saturday on south congress for their happy hour, had no idea how busy it might be. We were celebrating a new job promotion and birthday, which was specified in the reservation when it asks if this is a special occasion (I said yes). We were seated promptly, the restaurant was maybe a quarter full. We did the espresso martini ($5 off during happy hour so $11) and an Irish coffee cocktail. The martinis were served in glasses. Like not martini glasses, regular drink glasses which threw me. They were fine. The Irish coffee could now taste the alcohol and it kinda tasted like nothing. The big draw here is the $8 bottomless fries during HH- you can choose regular or garlic and we did garlic. They're delicious. However, in the time we were there we only got two bowls because it took an inordinate amount of time for these fries to come out despite the restaurant being so not full. For food we did the salmon burger ($21), the cheeseburger ($20) and the ceviche ($23). The cheeseburger wins- two patties, buttery brioche and pickles and you can choose salad or fries. My boyfriend was happy. I was not happy with the salmon burger- the patty was so incredibly thin and hurried under a mountain of kale I couldn't even taste it. Couldn't taste the apple saw, couldn't taste the aioli- just brioche bun and kale. The side salad was dressed well though. The ceviche was underwhelming- the fish had no flavor and the coconut rice had no flavor. Our server was pretty inattentive- we sat for a long time with empty drinks before we couldn't finally get a 50% off bottle of rosé and another reason we didn't get more fries, no one to order from. She dumped the bottle on the table and didn't pour any and we never saw her again until I flagged her down for the check. The special occasion that I wrote out in the reservation was completely ignored- not even the hostess said anything about it being a special occasion. The restaurant itself was wayyyyy too hot- they have a giant what looked like portable AC that does nothing and actual fans plugged into the walls which also did nothing so we sweat the whole meal. And finally, I tipped 18% using the buttons on their little handheld card reader and beware- they tip the 18% on the full cost of the bill before the happy hour discounts are applied which I think is completely sheisty and I have never seen before. I won't be back- there's a million places on south Congress to go to spend $160 and have a much better special occasion.

Cute spot and great location! Loved the bottomless fries happy hour, plus $5 off cocktails although they tasted a bit bland. Service was pretty good and we didn't experience much of a crowd for a Thursday evening.

Came here for brunch with a prior reservation as it is a must for weekend brunch, this place gets crowded. It is a beautiful restaurant located in SoCo that has the perfect vibe for a Saturday brunch. Ample lighting and amazing decor makes it cozy and even the service adds up to it. We ordered the avaocado toast, their seasonal french toast, coconut chai and a muffin. The french toast was excellent and being just a weekend special, it was worth trying out. I want to return just for the french toast. The coconut chai was good and flavorful; came with milk and side of sugar. Overall, it's a perfect spot for brunch and a must try!

We like cute brunch places. This place did not disappoint. I love hash for breakfast. I was scared to try the kimchi hash but it was DELICIOUS. We also had the smoked salmon bagel, cafe scramble and warm quinoa bowl. The service was friendly and quick.

I had originally been wanting to check out Magnolia Cafe for brunch, but after being deterred by their long wait times, I stumbled upon Café No Sé instead. Café No Sé is located in the South Congress Hotel. It has a modern and chic aesthetic. Their menu is definitely on the pricey side. I tried their buttermilk hotcakes, which consisted of 3 pancakes topped with orange pecan butter, powdered sugar, a few blueberries, and maple syrup. They were good, definitely on the sweet side, and I wish they came with more blueberries considering the price. Café No Sé is a good brunch spot if you're wanting to splurge a bit. Also, I can't confirm this, but apparently parking in the South Congress Hotel Garage is validated up to 3 hours if you ask the staff for a validation sticker when you leave the restaurant.

Cafe No Se is a great place to go if you're in the SoCo area of town. The food is great and the service is excellent. Just had dinner with friends. Our server Holly took great care of us. She was very attentive and pleasant. Never had to ask for a refill once. The reason I'm giving the atmosphere a 3 star review is because they really need to get shades installed for their windows. We actually had to move tables in order to get a way from the sun. That sun was brutal.

Such a busy place since it's located on SoCo. I enjoyed the salmon bagel. IT was fresh and tasty. It can be a bit of a wait. The service is good and it's spacious inside. It's a great spot to pop in if you have been shopping all morning.

We really enjoyed our food here! The space was quaint and nice and the waiters were kind. The prices were slightly unexpected for the portions but we still enjoyed the food. Definitely will be returning!

Hi y'all! Do they still have beef shipped from Pat LaFrieda? The Meat Purveyors in New Jersey I see…

Is it hard to get street parking on a Sunday at 11:00 am? I don't want to have to pay to park. Thanks!

Yes, street parking will be really hard. They have valet for $20 BUT they also have a parking garage that you can park in and get the tag validated (at the host stand) and then it will be free, as long as you aren't there for over 2 hours I believe.

What gluten free options do they have regularly?

Smoked and crispy-skinned salmon, tuna poke, cheeseburger, scramble, quinoa bowl, salads, pastries, cafe spread, etc.

Some leave their dogs on the overly nice furniture, leaving fur behind. It doesn't bother me, but I can understand how it would bother others looking at this as a restaurant, instead of what it is, a daytime coffee lounge and an evening cocktail bar. If it were just a coffee shop, there wouldn't be enough outlets, and there should be more pastries. If it were just a bar, it'd be a little too bright in the daytime, and the laptop workers (me included) would hurt the cool cocktail vibe...BUT it's not just those two things. It's both, and they do a remarkable job of accommodating everyone while maintaining a chill vibe. Seriously, everyone has surprised me with how nice they are here, and we're lucky to have something so architecturally significant with high-end indoor/outdoor furniture. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed, every single outdoor table was full but some of the picnic tables were long enough to share which is what we ended up doing. Even though it was very busy our order really didn't take long at all. You order at the counter and are given a number there to bring to our table which is nice. They had one of my favorite ciders Smell the Van which I loved! And my fiancé had one of their iced lattes which he said was excellent. For food I tried their new sandwich, the FRIED GREEN BLTomato SANDO (english muffin, bacon, lettuce, fried green tomato, remoulade, farm fried egg) and my fiancé had their CARNITAS HASH (crispy fingerling potatoes, pork carnitas, fried egg creamy poblano sauce, pickled red onions, cotija cheese). My fiancé loved the carnitas hash. My sandwich was pretty good; I don't think I'd order it again though. I think it'd be better without the spicy In-N-Out style sauce on it and if they offered it on sourdough instead of the English muffin (since it's stacked so high it's really messy to eat). One thing that was a bummer was that they don't carry ranch dressing. I wanted a side salad but they only had a vinaigrette dressing which I'm not a huge fan of so decided not to order the salad. I'd definitely come back and try something else on their menu though!
