Onion cheese twister and goulash soup

Beautiful atmosphere with a professional, kind, and hardworking staff who clearly take pride in their work. The food was spectacular, made from scratch--the flavors reminded me of a small mom-and-pop restaurant I used to go to as a child with my family. Our waiter recommended their goulash soup, and chef's kiss! I had the Jäger schnitzel for dinner--absolutely delicious. Great wine selection as well. I would recommend making a reservation, as nearly every seat was full (which made me happy to see!). The seating capacity was just right for an upbeat dining experience, yet still small enough to feel intimate and family-oriented. Highly recommended, and I will definitely be returning!

The food here is Authentic. It's a cute little place sharing a parking lot with a gas station making it easy to miss. That would be a mistake. This place is very good. Came in for an early lunch. Got the Rahm Snitzel. That gravy! So tasty. The spaetlzle was really good with just a bit of crunch here and there. The portions were huge. Just one cutlet would be enough. They give you two. Great food. Nice authentic flavors and owners. Big portions. This is a must try spot.

The restaurant has an industrial style vibe with high ceilings which I like. We ordered The Sampler Platte. It was very large. We get to taste many different types of their specialties. 2 of us shared it. It's delicious. It could be shared by 3! Black Forest cake is very good as well. We went there early dinner time. A few tables with costumes. Services were attentive and friendly. The chef came out to greeted us! If you like German Austrian food you should consider dining there! It won't disappoint you!

Sampler Platter for two (or more).

We tried this place while in town for CES. It's a real departure from the Hofbrauhaus on the other side of town. We decided to get the potato pancakes appetizer and the large sampler platter. The Nurnberger Sausage was OUTSTANDING! Pork schnitzel (could have been pounded out much thinner) and sides (rotkraut was a bit dry) were OK. Ambiance is very basic and pleasant. We really enjoyed the interactions with the staff as well. I recommend you give this place a try!

Pretzel with mustard cheese

I love Cafe Berlin! I brought my mom here, she is from Germany, and she couldn't believe they had rouladen. So many delicious authentic dishes we can't find anywhere else. I came back with my husband, who loved the pretzel with mustard cheese and the sauerbraten. We'll definitely be back again and again!

We had been wanting to try this place and decided today was the day. They were not busy at lunch time but I can imagine they are for dinner. You can make reservations online which is awesome. They have a TV on with German cooking shows and then German music playing to add to the vibes. The food was delicious. We shared the potato pancakes and pretzel as appetizers and both were delicious. I had the schnitzel while my husband who loves Brats had a dish with multiple options. We both were impressed by the deliciousness. For dessert we shared the Blueberry strudel and WOW. They don't skimp on the blueberries and the warm dip that it comes with is delicious. We can't wait to come back!

We've been coming to this quaint German Cafe for years and unfortunately, our most recent experiences have been rather disappointing. The food quality just isn't how it used to be from maybe 3-4 years ago and I think it is consistently declining. The chocolate cake for my daughter smelled and tasted old and her cheese spaetzle was just doused in cheese. Just like everything on the menu, Doused and overflowing in sauce for some reason. The service has always been subpar, the server always forgets something whether it's your drink or the pretzels or adjustments like sauces on the side etc. They always seemed absentminded. The only thing that hasn't changed are the draft beers... it's really hard to mess that up. I really do hope they take this review into consideration and work on improving, so that we can continue to support this local business.

I've been coming here for years and could've swore I did a Yelp review before , but it's not showing up. So , let's do one now. I was stationed in Germany for 4 years , 1985 to 1989 when the Berlin Wall was still standing , and of course grew to love German Food and of course German Beer ( Bier ). Whenever I go to other places on vacation I even look for new German restaurants to try. I've been in Vegas since 1991 and used to go to Alpine Village , Cafe Heidelberg , and even the Hofbrauhaus. Cafe Berlin is soooo much better than Hofbrauhaus and the prices are also better. The owners are from Cologne , Germany and the food has flavor , not bland like Hofbrauhaus. The owners and staff are friendly and the selection of foods is very good and also beer selection and desserts. I normally get the Jägerschnitzel which comes with Spaetzle and of course a good German beer. For dessert I like the Apfelstrudel ( Apple Strudel ) with cream and vanilla ice cream. I've brought many of my co-workers here so they could try it and we normally will get a Wurst Plate and the Jägerschnitzel and an Appetizer Plate which comes with a Pretzel , Potato Pancakes , Onion Cheese Twisters , and some sauces , so we can share and they can try stuff they've never had. Everyone loves it and comes back usually asking me to come with them. I also would come almost every year with my son for my birthday. At Octoberfest they have the special beers that come in. They also have Black Forest Cake , Cherry Strudel , and Blueberry Strudel. Of course the Apple Strudel is my favorite. I've had many different things on their menu. They also have a buffet once a month and I miss it every time ! I'm either working or I forget because it's the first Saturday of the month for about 4 hours. I need to set an alert on my phone or something. I would definitely recommend you make a reservation for the buffet if you plan to go. All in all I really recommend you going to Cafe Berlin and if you've never had German Food then bring a friend and get different plates to share with each other.

Rouladen so good !!

We had a wonderful dining experience here. The food was delicious, the service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!

I was so excited to finally try this place as I had been wanting to try it out for quite some time now. A few highlights: Service - efficient but nothing that made it stand out friendly of a smaller place like I would expect. Prices - a little high IMHO. Ambiance - simple/basic. Not really any cute decor. No live entertainment as expected. Food - Good, but nothing to rave about in regards to similar establishments in town. Would I come back? - I would pass and go to Hofbräuhaus for a more extensive menu (prices seem about the same) and better ambiance. However, if I was wanting to stick to this side of town only, maybe.

Service - slow but only one waitress on duty. All about the order with little chat or personality. Food - delivered in about 3 minutes making me think it is precooked and reheated. Quality and taste very good considering.... Prices - a little high IMHO. Ambiance - cute little place in strip mall. Not overly decorated to make you feel like you are in Germany. I would return.

How does one try and write a review about an experience that brought you back as a kid, at your Oma's (Grandmothers), house, cooking you a meal. My wife is German and I am half so I may be bias. Cafe Berlin is like finding a diamond in the ruff. It is located behind a gas station and beside one of those chicken places. As they say, "If you build it, they will come". The place is warm, inviting and not too big. There is German music playing in the background which says it all about being real. The service/food is outstanding! If you want cooked from scratch, 100% authentic home cooked German food; you owe it to yourself to go to Cafe Berlin. We had to have the potato pancakes for an appetizer followed by their sampler plater, and it was to die for. Of course you have to wash it down with some German Beer, and they are happy to serve it. I kept thinking of my childhood, the food was magical. Just can't put it into words how great the service/food is! My wife and I will be going back many times as long as the good Lord lets me. To Cafe Berlin, thank you for being authentic. Ich liebe euch jungs Brigitte & Ernst

The food was good here and so was the service . But in my opinion it's overpriced and that keeps me from returning.

We decided to check out the outdoor menu and ordered our drinks through the walk-up window. Once we pressed the buzzer the barista who helped us was very sweet and accommodating which made the process go smoothly. There were a variety of great options to choose from, but we narrowed it down to the large Iced Matcha Tea Latte and a Prickly Pear Sparking Float. It took quite sometime to receive our drinks, but we figured it would be busy due to the long line of cars ordering through the drive-thru. My husband really enjoyed the flavor of the matcha, but he wished it was just a tad bit sweeter. My sparkling float was so delicious and refreshing. It was perfectly sweetened, crisp from the sparkling water, and the creaminess from the vanilla float and whipped cream tied it all together. Between the awesome customer service and the all-around yummy drinks, we'll definitely be back to try out more of their speciality beverages and delectable treats.

My husband and I stopped by Scooters, and this was my first time visiting this location out here…read more Funny enough, we originally discovered Scooters while on vacation in Utah, and ever since then the name alone makes me giggle--scoot on up or scoot forward . I've also seen them pop up in videos and had been wanting to try them for a while. The main reason we came was for the spicy sausage burrito, and it did not disappoint. It was super tasty--the outside had a slight crisp, while the inside was warm and gooey in the best way. I paired it with a sugar-free white chocolate latte. I ordered it iced but received it hot; honestly, mistakes happen and it was still really good, so no big deal. My husband ordered the Oreo shake with espresso. The flavor was good, but it felt a little thick, like it could've used more liquid since it was somewhat stuck together. Overall, the staff was very friendly, and we were in and out quickly, which is always a plus. Despite the small hiccups, we had a good experience and would definitely stop by again.

Whenever I'm in Vegas and craving ube desserts, Cafe 86 is an easy stop. I've had halo-halo all…read moreover, and honestly... I've never had a bad one -- and that streak definitely continues here. Lots of tables and open space. We ordered three versions to compare: Upside Down Halo-Halo (customized without the jellies) Upside Down Halo-Halo Traditional Halo-Halo What keeps bringing me back is the Upside Down Halo-Halo. It feels like a modern evolution of the classic Filipino dessert. Instead of being overwhelmed by mix-ins, you really get a stronger ube-forward flavor, which I personally love. The addition of boba gives it a fun texture, and skipping the beans makes it feel lighter and more dessert-focused while still keeping that halo-halo spirit. The traditional halo-halo still hits that nostalgic note -- shaved ice, sweetness, and layered textures -- but Cafe 86's upside-down version is where they really stand out. It's familiar yet updated, almost like halo-halo reimagined for a new generation. If you're an ube fan or trying halo-halo for the first time, this is a great introduction. Classic roots with a modern twist -- and proof that innovation and tradition can absolutely coexist in one cup.
