    TURF - It's a vibe!

If you know, you know. If you don't... let me put you on…read more Turf Kitchen is one of those blink-and-you-miss-it spots that has absolutely no business being as good as it is! First off, don't walk in expecting a big menu. You're getting about five sandwiches, and that's it. Turkey club, spicy turkey club, Cubano, the "Peter Dick," and the short rib sandwich. A couple sides, chips included, and that's the whole operation. Simple menu. Serious execution. I went with the short rib sandwich, and I'll be honest...when it came out, I had a moment. For $16, it looks like the smallest sandwich on the board. You start doing that internal math like, "Did I just spend $20 on lunch and still need a snack after this?" Yeah...no. Every bite was packed! The tender, flavorful braised beef was clearly the star of the show. The cajun crema brought a rich, slightly smoky depth, the pickled jalapeños added just the right amount of tang and balanced heat; not overwhelming, just enhancing...and the cheese tied everything together without competing with the beef. That brioche bun? Soft, toasted, and doing just enough to hold everything together without getting in the way. And the chips...honestly perfect for what they're supposed to do: add texture without distracting from the sandwich. (Next time I might throw them on the sandwich... for research purposes.) Washed it down with a Mexican Coke, because...they had Mexican Coke! ‍ Now let's talk about the vibe. Nirvana playing. Grateful Dead stickers everywhere. Chalkboard menu. It feels like a Gen X dive spot... until you taste the food and realize the guys in the kitchen know exactly what they're doing. That's the magic of this place. This isn't just a good sandwich spot, it's the kind of place that reminds you why local food hits different. I'll be back. Next time, it's the spicy turkey club.

A little sweet a little spicy perfect. I got the spicy turkey club. Also very good. Perfect level of spice for someone who loves a good hot sauce. I'll definitely be back to try other items on the menu and hopefully will use them for catering. The staff was friendly and real chill. Thank you gentlemen!

They were bringing out fresh items to add to the display as we were there. The staff was very friendly as well!

Very tasty little bakery inside of Saraga! My sister and I have been in a few times together, but…read moremost recently my husband and I + my sister and BIL stopped in after spending the day in Castleton. Their bakery items are very pretty, but we have noticed that some of the offerings (like the stuffed donuts) do not really have a taste to them besides sugar- which is fine if you're just wanting a quick sugar rush, but disappointing if you're actually wanting to try an ube stuffed donut and then don't get any ube flavor at all. Their display offerings are very good and always taste like what they say they should. I've never tried any savory pastries from them, but I want to on my next visit. They have coffee, hot chocolate, frappes, smoothies, lemonades, etc as well. The tiramisu latte is amazing and I get it every time I go since it's always when it's fall/winter, but an iced coffee or lemonade sounds so good once the weather gets warm again. Plan your visit for early in the day before their pastries get bought up! They stay very busy and our last visit was late in the evening to coincide with grocery shopping in Saraga so we could take everything straight home to the fridge. They were very picked over, but I got a slice of pound cake to snack on with my latte and a load of milk bread. The milk bread is a family favorite, so I recommend trying that out if you've never had it before. They also sell some super cute "accessories" on top of the display case and I bought "Happy Birthday" candles for my husband's birthday earlier this month from them, as well as some that said "I Love You" for Valentine's Day.

First off, Burger Revolution is located in the Castleton Food Court. The emphasis is obviously on burgers with a handful of specialty burgers noted. I did not see a "build your own" option and I opted to not ask about deviations from the posted menu. They also offer a couple chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders. As one other reviewer noted, you do want to read the menu carefully as there are definitely some add-on prices. The burgers are of the "smash burger" variety. You can also double up your burgers, though there's an upcharge. Truthfully, I wasn't quite sure how the pricing worked. I think the fries were extra, though maybe the drink was included. Regardless, I paid about $14 for a burger (with cheese), fries, and a 24-ounce drink (my usual unsweetened iced tea). The good? First off, the employee working the front was super friendly and helpful. Secondly, the burger was quite good (better than expected and certainly better than the usual mall burger). The fries were also quite tasty. Overall, I was pleased here. I'd prefer a bit more transparency with pricing and clarity on burger options (Is it possible to build your own?). I expect to pay a bit more at a mall - so that didn't much bother me. The service was friendly, the food was tasty and fresh, and I would absolutely order this again in the future. While I'm not willing to call this a 5-star experience, it was a solid 4-star for me.
