This place is incredible. The owner and his son do an amazing job of taking care of you and making you feel welcome. The potato onion and cheese pierogi are by far my favorite, but you can't go wrong here.

I had never had pierogi before but I am glad I was able to have my first experience here! My friend and I wanted a bite in the morning before a day of yard sale hunting, and we wanted some hot tea and a nibble. We walked into a great place with the most charming character serving us! Caesar - the half Polish half Italian owner and pierogi peddler - was a barrel of charm and laughs and knowledge. He made the start to our morning more delisting, more delightful, and more hilarious than I could have imagined. Such a treat to have met him and tried his lovely business.

Christian was very attentive as soon as I came in, and did a great job of cooking and taking care of me. The space is very inviting and the pierogi were great! I also had the onion soup and the #67 Mango tea. Highly recommend both. I can't wait to come back.

We stopped at Caesar Pierogi for a small bite, and we were not disappointed. First of all, the inside is as charming as charming can get! I enjoy taking photos to later scrapbook our adventures, and the seat we had by the window has me completely stoked to scrapbook the pics from here. We did the meat (pork) pierogis and a tamale. They were both excellent, and the customer service was top-tier. Both gentlemen working were fun and kind. Though, we were told our total was $10,000! Ha, one of the guys is clearly a jokester, which made the visit just that much more fun. Since it was a warm day when we were there, I have to admit, it was a tad too warm for my preference in the small space. Granted, our window seat was probably a warmer environment than had we sat elsewhere. They have some outdoor seating as well, but with the threat of rain, we wanted to stay inside.

Everything was great! The service was attentive and helpful. I had the mushroom soup and it was very flavorful. My sister and I split potato and onion and mushroom mozzarella pierogi. Yum! We also ordered the pizza pot pie. It was so good, like nothing I'd ever had before. Highly recommend!

Best Pierogis is the area, the place has a great vibe with excellent food. Great outdoor sitting area with an outdoor gelato cart .

The pierogis are delicious, soft, and freshly cooked to order. They make the pierogis hand made and you could even order some frozen to make at home. I had the pork and spinach feta. The spinach-feta was by far my favorite! My food and coffee was served in a timely manner and it was prepared right in-front on the counter. The server was friendly and it's a very decorated restaurant with lots of art work to look at. Great place to drink some coffee and have a good meal.

5 stars all around! My only complaint is at myself for living so close, and not coming in sooner. We were looking for a dog friendly restaurant on a chilly day, so we preferred to eat indoors. When we first walked in the space looked small for our large dog, and there were two other tables of people, so we almost opted out. Caesar and the other guests were very welcoming, bade us to stay, and even moved some tables around to accommodate our group of 5 people & 2 dogs. Eating here is an entire experience! First, they have the cutest tea sets and dishes along the wall that are for sale, and the interior is super cute and cozy. We had no clue what to order, so Caesar came and explained the variety of perogies to us, so we decided to start with those. We had the Ukrainian potato & cheese, mushroom & mozzarella, bacon potato & cheese, spinach & feta, and chocolate perogies. Caesar cooks the food right in front of you behind the café counter. Each crock of perogies is served with a thick slice of butter that's left to melt for a bit before enjoying. Every single one was absolutely delicious, but my favorite were definitely the mushroom & mozzarella, full of umami goodness with the perfect amount of cheese. I was hesitant regarding the chocolate ones (my daughter was the one who requested them), but I was pleasantly surprised. They are a little smaller than your average pierogi, and I'm not 100%, but I think the dough was a little thinner. The inside was decadent, and put me in mind of a chocolate truffle... soooo good! We also tried the French onion soup, which is made in house, to order. Caesar said the soup is made with a hint of white wine, and the flavor was phenomenal, with the perfect amount of melty cheese and crusty bread. My other daughter had a raspberry pastry that was also super tasty. We finished everything off with some sipping chocolates for each of us. I thought this was just hot chocolate, but I was wrong. I had the dark chocolate, and my daughter had the milk. It is much thicker than hot chocolate, like if you dip a spoon in, the spoon will come out coated. The purveyor said that if you were to refrigerate it, then it would become a mousse. It was the perfect end to a perfect meal. The service was very attentive, and Caesar is very welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable of all the items served. I loved that we were able to bring our dogs in the café for dine in (they enjoyed it too). Every single item we tasted was great, and I will definitely be back to try more perogies as well as the pizza pot pie. They take cash and card. Free street parking is available up & down Irving Park. Careful not to drive too fast & miss it, look for the colorful umbrellas and ice cream stand in the front.

Caesar's Pierogis were very delicious! he easily accommodated my group right away and kept us engaged with the space. our whole time there we were learning something new about his menu. I really recommend the dark RASPBERRY HOT CHOCOLATE! perfect pairing for the cozy space.

We made a reservation as we were a group of 5 and it was not an issue, but it could be on a weekend. There was only one server, but she was on top of her game. The restaurant is European, so it's not designed to be the American rush to eat. We started with potato pierogi to share. They were so amazing! My entree was stuffed chick with dumplings and a lovely cucumber salad. Very good, decent portion. The only detractor could be the restroom which is down a flight of stairs, and could be a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. Def worth checking out.

Sour Rye Soup: Not bad, but honestly, I wouldn't order it again... the fermented sourness was just too direct and intense. Polish Hunters Stew: Apparently a national dish of Poland. The first bite tasted like Italian meat sauce, with a rich tomato flavor and a slight smoky aroma; then I discovered the ingredients included sausage, cured beef brisket, minced meat, and sauerkraut, making it quite substantial and much more satisfying than Italian meat sauce. Overall, it was a rich, sweet and sour flavor, perfect with rice, pasta, or bread. Sauerkraut & Mushroom Pierogi: Dumplings, but the Polish version. The sauerkraut was only slightly sour, refreshing and delicious with the mushrooms, while the sour cream added a touch of creaminess and richness. Unfortunately, the skin was thick and sticky, as if it had been boiled for a long time. For better dumplings skin, please turn to a Northeastern Chinese. Half Duck: Strangely, it reminded me of confit de canard. The meat was incredibly tender, falling off the bone with a gentle pull; the melt-in-your-mouth texture was truly delightful. The cranberry sauce was perfectly balanced between sweet and sour, with a rich fruity and fermented aroma. The rosemary emerged in the aftertaste, enriching the flavors and cutting through the richness. The accompanying sauerkraut was even better than the duck, with a crunchy texture and a mild, pleasant sourness, enveloped in a rich buttery and creamy flavor. The accompanying fpotatoes were also soft and delicious, but the roasted pear was too overpowering in its softness and sweetness, not meeting my expectations for a palate cleanser. Table Bread: The bread itself was unremarkable, but the generous amount of butter was commendable. I cannot believe that there is only one server for all the tables.

Seeing their instagram reels and videos drew me to come check this place out. I tend to not go to Polish restaurants much because I have my mom for that lol. I married into a second gen Polish fam and so going to Polish restaurants occasionally brings them back memories back to when their aunt used to own a Polish restaurant in Chicago back in the days. Food was amazing and so worth it. The potato pancakes were the best I've had in a while (don't tell my mom). I was glad that they didn't taste like old frying oil and were fresh. I also had the red barszcz with a krokiet and it was so good. I had a taste for a grilled sausage with onions and potato/cheese pierogi and it hit the spot. Rest of the family enjoyed their food as well and we will definitely be back! I do wish they offered zapiekanki though but it's ok! We went before the dinner rush on a Saturday. There's a small parking lot in the back but that was full so we parked on the street. We were immediately seated and drink orders were taken as well as soup (which is included). Drinks are added separately and not inclusive of the $34 per person. I had the borscht and that was tasty and comforting. My brother in law didn't waste any time and he immediately got his first plate going. My sister and I took our time to enjoy the soup. I then started with the appetizers and tried the different salads. It was cool to see they had aspic since that's not something you see often either. When I eventually made my way to the warm food, I was overwhelmed by all the choices. I tried to take one of everything but even then it was too much so I didn't get to try it all. The meats that I did try were super tender and juicy. They definitely know what they're doing with the meats! The dessert area had so many different options. There was cake, flan and cheesecakes. So many to choose from! I think I just love Polish food in general because of the comfort food aspect. The proteins are usually simmered in gravy and you get to pair it with potatoes cooked in all sort of ways! My sister was adventurous and just started putting random stuff on her plate that I've never seen before. She found the meat spread and that was surprisingly good too.
