I am happy to report that Rose Center is none of those things! not a bad seat anywhere, all covered, friendly staff, great parking (and free), many exits and entrance points in venue and also parking lots, multiple concessions with some of the best beer pricing and selection I've seen at a venue of this size. Also: misting stations! I would recommend a concert here- this venue literally seems made for the customer's satisfaction. The staff was absolutely fantastic.

I noticed that there is an area for 18-20 year old at the front of the business so they can enjoy the music. The quality of the sound was excellent and this is for a group with complicated sound and music. The prices at the bar are about average. I will keep my eye on their schedule for when they may have someone I can appreciate. Great place for a show. Coming in was confusing. The entry is in the center and up the stairs. But we had to check in first and get our hands stamped, in the door just to the right. Friendly and helpful staff the whole time, at check-in, the door, bar, etc. Go up the stairs and there is a little landing with bathrooms and a sort of recovery room thing- didn't go in there, but looked like a place to escape the crowd and noise. Straight in the double doors is the show venue, a cool old theater. Great sound, nice lighting. Bar is up another set of stairs, with a small balcony with tables. Accessibility might be an issue; I saw no elevator though there could be one. Two sets of steep stairs were hard on an old guy with bad knees, especially coming down from the bar with drinks. Pizza and burgers, etc., at the bar, nice to have handy. Fast friendly service. Downstairs, the bar to the left of the entry looks quite nice, and they had the show on a TV. Crowd wasn't massive so you could wander up and down and enjoy all areas. Definitely would come back for another show.

We did have drink/bar issues in that the third floor bar was limited and the main floor bar was busy with only one gal tending. The sound was pretty good, although since we were standing under the speakers, it was difficult for me to hear his between song chats with the audience. I would return. I love old places with character and this suits my enjoyment of small Indy shows.

Seen a comedian from Detroit a few years back - great show. Can't get better than that. Close to home, reasonable show ticket prices and food prices. Just seen another dinner show - The Odd Couple (stardust players group) - they have these ever so often. Again check their website. Price is $25 pp for a meal and show. The meal usually is the following: slowed cooked pork loin/roast YUM, baked chicken, scalloped potatoes, grean beans, bread, salad and sheet cake. The meal includes tea and coffee as well. During shows, they have 3 or 4 long tables (about 12 people at each) then booths that are raised. We like to set in the raised area. But note, the place is not that big so any seat is good to see a show.

We walked into the bar downstairs. Thankfully someone asked what we needed and then they were able to get our show wristbands. We were set and headed to dinner. When we returned after 7:00, there was someone right at the door handing out wristbands. We could have skipped the early drop in. Live and learn. I liked the small venue upstairs and the different chair options. We were early enough we had our choice of seats. I thought the sound was good, but we all had trouble understanding the singing. Of course I figured it was my ears, but after the show everyone admitted they had trouble as well. This seems like a possible limitation of the sound system. That said, the music itself sounded great. The Revival Room has its own bar and two bathrooms, one each outside the doors to the side of the stage. All of this is very convenient. We didn't eat or drink, so no comments on either. I checked the calendar and there's nothing coming up I'd like to see, but I wouldn't think twice about coming here for music.
