This was our first Michelin Star restaurant experience and it did not disappoint. It was an elevated experience from the start. The servers and sommelier did a great job explaining each course of the tasting menu and it's corresponding wine pairing. The food was delicious and truly looked like a work of art on our plates.

Wanted to be blown away but alas it fell short for me. The ideas were creative but it lacked cohesiveness. The menu reads exceptionally well with Greta ingredients, but when you put everything in your mouth you start to notice each dish is missing at least one component to tie everything together. What I will say is that service here is excellent.

At a very fancy restaurant that serves flavor-intense amuse bouches, I have always wondered if I can have a full meal dedicated to them. I have finally found such a restaurant in Caelis. Not only do they start you with *seven* amuse bouches, all the subsequent courses are packed with flavor. I loved every single bite! Although most reservations are for two persons, the restaurant is of good size and can serve a range of group sizes, ranging from one-person counter seatings to larger group seatings in private areas. The staff is very attentive and works well together as a team. They will follow your lead with the pacing of the meal. (I scarfed down each bite very quickly, and they were readily prepared for my next bite.)

When I told my friends and family that I will be in Barcelona, they recommended this restaurant, this restaurant has 7 Michelin stars by the way. I had the tasting menu- each item was described by the staff and the attention for service was exploratory. What was nice every tasting had their own flavors and the blends of each dish was complimentary to the next one. The amicable was modern, and warm. You must book your reservations for your experience! You will not be disappointed'

Amazing food, great service! They were very accommodating for my allergies! I recommend trying to sit at the bar to watch the amazing chefs work!

I love it... Great restaurant... I had a wine pairing course meal and can be any better. Considering Michelin restaurant, price was very reasonable and food was great.

I've been to a few Michelin Star restaurants and honestly this one did nothing for me. It was okay at best. I think sometimes restaurants try too hard to be avant garde that they forget to make the food taste good. We did the lunch Pre-Fixe and I ordered the Fish which has this strange flavorless gelatin sheet draped over it. Honestly it was very unappetizing. A little acid and salt with a crispy fish skin would have been preferable over whatever that was. My daughter a pork dish that was horribly overcooked. This seemed to be the theme of the meal. Not to mention the service was very snooty and not very attentive. Probably should have just saved some money and found a hole in the wall tapas bar.

I was visiting Barcelona and I wanted to try a Michelin restaurant. I liked that Caelis had a lunch special for 55 euros per person so I decided to make a reservation. We were sat with a view of the open kitchen. It was really enjoyable being able to observe the staff create each meal. I found it a great deal trying a Michelin star restaurant that included a starter, main course, cheese or dessert, and coffee. Also, a choice of wine (red or white). Service was excellent and the food was great. I would recommend Caelis!

Came here for my birthday dinner and it was an absolutely magnificent experience. Amazing waiting staff and an absolutely beautiful meal. Very creative dishes and amazing wine pairings. It is well priced for what you get and honestly I think anyone who is able to should come here. However, if you're looking for a great deal, I highly recommend coming here for lunch. I truly can't believe that this place only has one Michelin star. I hope they are able to achieve two stars soon.

The food was Beautiful and delicious. The service was excellent. We did the tasting menu to celebrate a special occasion. The entire experience was special and memorable.

I have been to a few Michelin star restaurants, and I can honestly say this one deserves to have its star stripped. The service was honestly horrible. The wine pairing only covers 4 of the dishes. Over 25€ for a .1 serving of a glass from bottles that we looked up to be less than 20€. What a joke! The restaurant was extremely hot and we noticed very obnoxious men making women at the bar uncomfortable. We had a later seating, which I'm not sure contributed to our ice cold food and rushed service - but it definitely did not help. Our server saw we finished our bread. Offered to bring us more, and we never received it. Our sommelier missed an entire service of wine and just said "oops! Sorry!" My main entrees, fish and steak, were served colder than room temperature. They were clearly prepared hours beforehand and were not bothered to be kept under a lamp at the least. The chef sat at the bar, drinking with some young guys. While this is fine at an overachieving restaurant, he should have been more attentive to the huge issues that this restaurant was providing its guests. All in all, I will never return and will never, ever recommend this restaurant to anyone again.

This place is well mentioned by n Michelins guide for a reason, we were there with a previous month reservation for my bday and everything was spectacular, every dish es una experiencia diferente como tip intentar sentarse en el chefs table para ver la acción de cerca , excelente para ocasiones especiales y grupos pequeños, excelentes chefs de repostería francesa

This Michelin star restaurant was a mind blowing experience. The atmosphere was fancy and fine dining. Every dish that came out had us in awe. Each dish was well curated and executed with perfection. Every ingredient in a dish meshed together smoothly. As you can see from the pictures the presentation was top notch. The wait staff were well rehearsed, and did not seem to make a single mistake when serving or explaining each dish. Each course left us wanting more, but the experience did not leave us hungry. This 12 course meal was definitely worth it, and I would do it all over again.

Nestled in an unassuming network of cobble stone lined alley ways are hidden gems worth discovering. We came looking for tapas, paella, sangria; and we found just that. Location: Plaza de España is within a 5 min walk, blocks away from shopping, and 30 minutes from the airport by way of shuttle. Used Google Maps with several sharp turns to find this local favorite. Service: the owner employs his pet Pomeranian, that follows the wait staff unconditionally. This is a no frills restaurant; grab a seat anywhere you like, and order off the menu. What we ate: Table service - pitted olives; briny and herbaceous. So delicious as an appetizer. Crisp Potatoes - served with aioli and red pepper sauce; so simple yet so comforting. Fried Calamari - can't go wrong with crispy calamari. Pork & Mushroom Paella - I know we're used to seeing seafood, but pork and mushroom with crispy rice is different, bold, and worth each bite. Sangria Blanco - I won't lie, it was heaven with the first sip, and it left me wanting more. Unlike its red cousin; white sangria is lighter and more fruit forward. So refreshing! After 18 hours of transiting; this was a delectable experience.

Ziryab seemed to fit the bill, so we made plans to stop here during our first night in the city. Ziryab is located close to the Gothic Quarter, on side street. It's kind of inconspicuous from the outside, but the interior gives way to a really welcoming space. The restaurant is separated into two main areas, with an earth-tone color scheme that has a rustic, almost cave-like aesthetic. The high ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows keep the dining room open and spacious. The tapas menu had a good selection, and we decided on several items: pan con tomate, sweet potato rolls, chicken cannelloni, bacon-wrapped figs, croquettes, falafel, and a charcuterie board. All the tapas were great - my favorites were the chicken cannelloni, pan con tomate, and the charcuterie board. The cannelloni especially was a standout - definitely a unique dish, and the chicken was super flavorful. We opted for dessert, and got the feta whip cheesecake - this was great as well. The combination of tang and sweet was a good finisher to our meal. Service was great - everyone was friendly and our dishes were served at a good pace. Overall, I'm glad I tried out Ziryab - the tapas were delicious and atypical of ones you find elsewhere in Barcelona. I would have no qualms returning here for another meal.

We ordered fresh salmon with dill, coroquetas de jamón iberico, a cod fritter, and chicken cannelloni with foie gras and black truffle sauce. We also ordered the pan with tomate, of course to soak up the truffle sauce. The cannelloni was amazing! I mean it melted in your mouth amazing!! After our snacks... We ordered dessert. It's done so right, juicy tangy, bursting with flavors and the pita in the salad is made into a curly flower and gives a delicious crunch.
