First time eating here, great food and super fast service. Walked in around 9am today with a party of 6 and was seated right away. I ordered the meat lovers scramble, my food came out in less than 20 minutes, very fast! Service was great, portions are HUGE! I only ate half of my food, had to take my leftovers to go. I will definitely come back, I highly recommend this place. Thank you for the hospitality! read more

Cadillac Cafe - American Near Me - Watsonville, California

My daughter and I dined here for brunch recently and enjoyed our meals. Cadillac has a diner-like aesthetic and feel to it with very friendly and attentive staff. Their menu is loaded with options whether you're craving breakfast or lunch foods. Both portions were quite large and my daughter ended up having the second half of her lunch for dinner, which she was thrilled about. She said her curly fries were "the best she's ever had," which is a big statement coming from an 11 year old. I had a simple Baja omelette with hashbrowns which hit the spot. You likely won't find organic gluten-free type items here so know this in advanced if you're part diva, like me. read more

We were in the area visiting and looked up on yelp & found this cafe. Located in a middle of a very small town on the corner. Blink and you will miss it. Small cafe with plenty of parking. Upon entering immediately greeted and seated. Ordered breakfast and received food fresh, hot. Food delicious except potatoes are in chunks and a tad hard. We did ask for well done but still receive tad uncooked potatoes. Recommend smaller pieces to complete cooking. Salsa homemade was delicious including refried beans. No internet service. No cell service in this area. Customer service was very good. Friendly staff. Highly recommend. read more

Cadillac Cafe - Smoked Salmon Chowder - American Near Me - Watsonville, California

This is a busy little spot just outside of town. Parking can seem a bit daunting but there's plenty behind the building off of Corralitos Road. Their food and service is great; lots to select from. I'm all about their Machaca and eggs burrito!!! People visiting Santa Cruz: take a drive out here, you'll be happy you did and the historic downtown Watsonville and the farmland that's been maintaining this area for hundreds of years by the hard working people that live here! read more

Big menu, solid breakfast. Can't go wrong but the skillet took the cake here I think. Staff was very friendly and it's a cute little spot. Great for some brunch! read more

I love the food. The Moss Landing (crab) omelette is my personal favorite, but I also love the people/service there. They are genuinely warm and friendly- attentive without being overbearing. They keep your coffee cup full and treat you like a guest. read more

We stumbled onto this lovely diner yesterday while returning from Aptos. We were there right before closing, but the staff couldn't have been nicer. Having grown up in the hotel business, I know that with good quality ingredients and a decent chef, it's possible to have good food. However, it's the people who work in a restaurant who make the difference from a good to great experience. Plus, the food was wonderful and very reasonably priced. We felt as though we had hit the trifecta! read more

We loved Cadillac Cafe and will definitely be back! They have Mexican breakfast items, mimosas and HUGE micheladas, a solid tuna melt and clam chowder, onion rings, great service, and are open until 3 pm! All that equals IDEAL BRUNCH PLACE!!! I have a rule when I'm on the coast: If there's clam chowder on the menu, we order a cup. This one was very good. Everything--the clams, potatoes--was diced very finely, which was different, but not in a bad way. I think it made everything more evenly distributed. I don't miss the huge chunks of potatoes you find in some clam chowders, but I do miss the whole clams. Not sure what that red spice is (paprika, tajin)? It was seasoned well and not salty. Best part: Only $3.50 a cup! Phil's in Castroville still has the best clam chowder IMO, but this one made it high on the list! read more

I had breakfast at this place recently and I just loved it. The service was nice, everyone was welcoming and friendly. I ordered a special omelette, which came with mushrooms, pineapple and guacamole. It tasted pretty good and I also loved their hash browns. The place is small, I think that's why the wait time is a little bit longer. However it was worth it. Parking wasn't hard to find but it can be a little bit harder depending of the day and time. Can't wait to try more of their menu. read more

We have love and continue to love the infamous always awesome Cadillac Cafe. It is a Go To for our family and we never miss a chance to stop in and enjoy a delicious breakfast (my personal favorite meal : I am gluten free and gobble down the browns!) The owners servers cooks and other diners are always pleasant and a treat to dine with. What would Freedom be like with out the Cadillac? read more

The food was amazing! Great service. Very delicious and fresh. Worth the wait. Small hidden gem.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. We got breakfast and it was a solid meal. Nothing to write home about. My husband said the bathroom was a disgusting state. read more

Great service great food, we had an excellent experience here. Fast friendly service and they do a good amount of to go business, so this is an option if you want to pick up something. Enjoyed the chorizo scramble and my friend is vegan, so loved the tofu scramble customized with veggies. Nice strong coffee, lots of hot sauce options on the table. Not too expensive and generous portions. Worth a stop if you're in the Watsonville area. read more

Been going there for a 100 years through multiple owners since Jonny Loza. I will say since a couple weekends ago Cadillac is off the rotation. I went in to eat a half hour before closing. The staff told me to take a seat then said they are only taking to go orders. They close at 3pm so they start closing at 2:30 I guess. Whatever weak. read more

Really good food and good portions. Staff is very nice. Clean and happy atmosphere. Will go here again.

Small spot but delicious breakfast, great service and a good local vibe with 50's decor on walls. Corn beef is real chunky tender corn beef. Accommodates my special request for sweet potatoes vs. white potatoes. Beans good. Chilaquiles really good. Breakfast burrito big and yummy. We'll be back! read more

I haven't been here in 6 years, it's an under new ownership. The waitress came over right away and took our drink order. She was very pleasant and brought our drinks quickly. The restaurant was very full, but the had a full staff. I ordered chicken club sandwich and curly fries. It was an interesting sandwich, they used chicken patties, 3 slices of bread, American cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, bacon. Not the best quality club I've had, it was an interesting combination. But it's a very busy place, great staff. The restaurant looks like a 50's themed, it looks clean. It's a great location at the 5 mile house in Corralitos. Even though my sandwich wasn't the greatest I want to come back and try breakfast, it's so busy and people we're enjoying themselves. They do have outdoor seating. read more

This was a perfect little café just as I would expect. There was good service start to finish, we did not have to wait for coffee and we did not have to wait for the check and we were not rushed. Great menu and it was cooked to perfection and again little waiting. If you want a cute little place with good atmosphere, this is it. read more

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch in the South Santa Cruz, Corralitos and Watsonville area. Just about a 15 minute drive from the Aptos and Seascape, this is a nice sized cafe with a friendly vibe and great service. Plenty of seating indoor and pet friendly outdoor areas, including a couple of covered patio sections. First time here we tried... * Reuben Sandwich -- House made corned beef and sauerkraut on rye was so good! Rye was perfectly grilled. Really tasty. Choice of fruit salad, French fries, curly fries or onion rings. Curly fries are good here. (Onions rings also look popular here.) * Baja Omelet -- Omelet was decent, but not super fluffy. Mild Green Salsa was the highlight. Served with choice of pancakes (2) or hash browns, and toast or fresh fruit. We ordered the pancakes was our carb indulgence, and our server (owner?) Hector was nice enough to offer extra avocado as another option instead of toast or fruit. Lots of other good options on the menu including a variety of Mexican specialties (nachos, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, tostada, huevos, chilaquilles), sandwiches and melts salads, scrambles, Benedict's, skillets, waffles, French toast, fish and chips,...Portions here are huge! Great value. We will be back. read more

I wish I had photos to share of the food I've enjoyed from here! But everything is so good it's gone before I can capture it! it's a small place but the service is top notch! The last few times we've ordered food for pick up. And the to go quality and service it just as good as sitting on their little patio! The breakfast burritos are *chefs kiss* they are simple and customizable. Fresh and non greasy! And very filling!! Don't forget to ask for extra of their homemade salsa!! Check this place out if you happen to be in the area! It won't disappoint read more

Honestly all the rave reviews I have heard about this place are true. 10/10, we were all very happy and full when we finished our breakfast. I ordered huevos rancheros, and I haven't ordered that ever before. All the food was very fresh. The pancakes are so fluffy and delicious with butter. However, the menu did a wonderful job describing how appetizing it tastes. Props to whoever wrote the menu because everything sounds delicious. The food was hot and fresh. The service was amazing, and the wait wasn't too long considering it was New Year's day. The atmosphere was very clean and cozy. I like how they have the outside seating too. I would recommend that on a nice sunny day. I would definitely return again and recommend it to others looking for a bite to eat/ nice hot meal. read more

We had the most amazing time here. We were staying at Seascapes Resort (just bought a beachhouse there for my wife). Woke up and drove 9 minutes to Cadillac Cafe. On the way we passed by a lot of horse ranches. Lovely drive. Parking was very easy. We were greeted warmly by Hector the owner. We felt like we were part of his extended family. We ate California Omelette ( with the best salsa ever ). 10/10 TIP - Order some extra salsa (free) to pour over the last bite you will not regret it . Salsa is made by Hector himself. My College son ordered the San Francisco Omelette with Pancakes and Hash-brown 10/10 We will come here again for sure. My boys loved the ambiance. read more

Found this café on yelp. Be prepared to wait during the weekend. The food was ok. The chorizo burrito seem to have more of a potato fill than anything. If I came back, I definitely would not order it again. The nachos were pretty good. What turned us off about this location was the amount of flies buzzing around. Definitely took away from our experience. We where seated near the back doors, which entered their patio. While there we saw a couple of dogs in the restaurant, a couple of bunnies with patrons and felt as if we were in a pet shop. If your in the area stop by the community shop, they offer some light snacks and the nursery across the street should not be missed. read more

We have been going to Cadillac Cafe for years and I don't know why I've waited this long to give them a review? Hands down, the best breakfast burritos in the entire area. They are huge, stuffed to the brim and full of flavor. Pair them with some of their red salsa and you've got yourself a damn good breakfast! We live just down the road, so most of the time we order ours to go, but it is nice to go and grab a table now and then. Great atmosphere, fantastic service and yummy food make for a winning combo! Food was good as well as service. More than I expected. Came several years ago and wasn't happy with breakfast. Today was much better.

What a special place to have breakfast and a great stop on a small local adventure! The drive to Freedom, the friendly and (very!) small town vibe, and the food and service were excellent, making it a fun AM trip/date and maybe a good start to a day wine tasting locally. I would suggest stopping at Sunset Beach on the way. We ordered the Moss Landing omelette, eggs, bacon. potatoes, coffee, and orange juice, Our order came out really quickly and the serivce was friendly and efficient. read more
