It took 2 calls and 2 emails before I was finally contacted for the injections (March 25). Now, I've called the store, my salesperson and emailed the booking dept checking status on tree trimming. Finally got an email April 13th that says "I do see you purchased it, but it did not populate on my end. I will reach out about the date as soon as I receive that paperwork." It's April 16th and no response or update. I have used another tree trimmer in the past who comes out same day! It's ridiculous at this point. If you're busy at least tell me. Will not use them for maintenance in the future.

It was so overpowering that breathing became a challenge, and it was hard to imagine anyone choosing to linger in the retail space. I am a huge advocate for businesses that embrace having animals on site, as it often adds a charming touch to the shopping experience. The cat at Green Acre is indeed beautiful, but unfortunately, its presence has wreaked havoc on the retail space. The unmistakable odor suggests it has chosen the outdoor furniture as its territory, which detracts significantly from the environment--something that management ought to address promptly. Despite this unnerving aspect, I did spot an exquisite Alocasia Zebrina. This find was the shining moment in an otherwise unpleasant visit. Sadly, I didn't venture into their outdoor section, as the state of the houseplant area was disheartening enough. Many of the plants appeared neglected, with signs of overwatering and distress. It was disappointing to see such potential overshadowed by poor maintenance. If this Green Acre location wishes to improve, they could learn a lot from the Green Acres location in Melissa, whose plant manager truly excels. Her expertise and care are evident, and similar attention is needed in Irving to revive their plant offerings and overall customer experience. Overall, I wish I could grant a higher score, but the current conditions make it difficult to recommend Green Acre Nursery until these issues are addressed.

While this place has gotten better in selection and value with its new ownership, my experience has been that it has gone down the toilet in customer service, at least at the register. I have shopped here for years and never had a problem with anyone, was always impressed by the selection and even the value. But one bad experience can change the whole impression of a place and and destroy years of reputation building in a consumer's mind. So here is what happened. Two visits ago we were hounded by them to join their loyalty program and while I hate the spam that usually comes along with joining those things, we went ahead and joined as it seemed important to the business. This time when we came, my wife forgot and did not tell them we were members when she approached the register. UNLIKE THEIR COMPETITORS, THEY DID NOT ASK IF WE WERE MEMBERS. After the transaction, my wife remembered and informed the person at the register (who I believe is one of the owners) that she was a member and got a truly shockingly bad response from a customer relations perspective. She was told that it was too late, and that it was her responsibility to tell them before the transaction and that they could not add the purchase points to the membership. To be clear, while not getting the points is part of it, the biggest part of it was the attitude with which this was put back on us. Seems like a little thing I know, but it's the little things become big things that affect whether I ever want to return to a place that we literally have spent thousands of dollars at in the past.
