A…read moremonth ago (March 13th) I purchased some maintenance: soil injections for 7 trees and tree trimming for 2 trees. It took 2 calls and 2 emails before I was finally contacted for the injections (March 25). Now, I've called the store, my salesperson and emailed the booking dept checking status on tree trimming. Finally got an email April 13th that says "I do see you purchased it, but it did not populate on my end. I will reach out about the date as soon as I receive that paperwork." It's April 16th and no response or update. I have used another tree trimmer in the past who comes out same day! It's ridiculous at this point. If you're busy at least tell me. Will not use them for maintenance in the future.

Turns out it may have been because of the quality. I purchased it on a Sunday. The middle of that same week the leaves started to yellow and I wasn't sure what was wrong with it. It was only a few leaves so I didn't think anything of it. As the days went by it progressively for worsened. Almost 30% of the plant had turned yellow in less than a week. I called the store about it and they advised that I could bring it back and swap it for another plant. So I swung by the next day and they said the same thing "you can pick out another plant". They have several plants of different varieties. Not once did she specify that it needed to be the same exact plant. I brought two other plants both equaling to the same value of the pathos I purchased and was advised that I had to get a pathos in exchange. She proceeded to blame me for the state of the pathos. She tried to insinuate that I watered the plant too much and condescendingly tell me that it should be watered once a week. I informed her that I hadn't watered the plant until that very day, 8 days from the original purchase date as a curtesy, which is irrelevant as the plant began yellowing only a few days after I purchased it. As I explained this, she was shaking her head insinuating I was lying. Then when I was done, she proceeded to verbally express this sentiment. This service was shocking. I've never had an employee place the blame on me in this way. I was initially only disappointed by the state of the plant which deteriorated by the hour, but the response I received was infuriating. I did end up switching to another pathos but I have no confidence this one will fair better than the last. Since she advised me that if this one has the same issue as the other they would not be able to do anything, I'll just have to dispute it with my bank

It is my Happy Place and I love seeing my buddies the kitties as they sleep and I am so grateful it is the finest store I have been too, I have also been a shopper at the other store as well for years. It is bigger plants, different inventory, not too many gifts but I have been there for 34 years as a customer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE everyone who works there and of course I have my favorites. You came out in early spring, to provide an estimate, when the sun rises further to the south (this area was shaded at that time) but as we get further into the summer the sun is further North (it's in full sun now). We talked about this! Being the professional landscaper, you should know how the seasons affect the sun/shade in planting areas with fences and structure nearby. In stead of making good on your mistake, you wanted to sell us other plants which we declined because we already paid you to landscape this area. You recommended what plants to plant! The repairs made on the pavers and underground drain is ugly. The pavers have a noticeable dip in them because you reset a small section rather than fixing it correctly. All the pavers should have been reset to slope away from the covered patio. After resetting the pavers, you did not fill in the spaces between the pavers. You would know this if you ever inspected your crews work but you've never been back since providing the estimate. You would have also seen the damage they did to our new gutters. And by the way, we are very pleased with the work our contractor did on our outdoor living space.

It's a really cute house that is actually a plant store. It's almost like it's two stores in one. Inside, there are really cool house plants and air plants, and etc. Then when you get outside, it's like a whole other world. They also had some really interesting carnivorous plants available. Some of their stuff was a little pricey, but a lot of these plants are more exotic that you wouldn't find at the average Home Depot Garden center. There's tons of options if you were wanting to find a meaningful gift to give to a friend or family member. They had a nice selection of cactus outside and other trees. I was very impressed and highly recommend you to stop by when you are in the Bishop Arts area.
