Five Star Nursery all the way! Loved this little urban nursery and everything about it. I would say they are mainly geared for small spaces. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I also enjoyed the selection. I bought several things, but should have brought my truck, so I will have to come back...oh darn! read more

The best nursery in Dallas. It's a small place but every corner is brimming with carefully curated plants to fit the local region. You will find plenty of native/adapted plants as well as herbs and exotic succulents/cacti in the greenhouse all at excellent prices. They also provide a great source of their own soil mixes and other amendments for your garden soil. If you are looking for a more sustainable and organic way of gardening, their website contains pdf guides on how to get started. My only complaint is that I wish their inventory included more native prairie plants. read more

I came here with an Mission!!!! So pleased that My Mission was accomplished! I was looking for a Joseph's Coat rose bush. Redenta's was the only placed that had any in their garden. I had called around all of the DFW area and no one had any. So I was very pleased when I found out they had them. When I arrived I was very impressed with the great selection of succulents. Plus it is a very cute shop. Prices were a little much but like I said great plants! They have lots of organic all-natural products in which I made sure I grabbed a few of on my purchase for my rose bush. Also a wonderful place and great selection on their soaps that are incredibly wonderful for your skin. This is one of those joints on Yelp that has a lot of stars but you know they must be fake. Why? I walked in here and the two morons working here had no idea how to answer basic customer questions like "Should I water this after transplanting?" and "Do you have xxxxx succulent in stock?" Seriously they all seem to be extremely medicated and/or on drugs here. And their plant stock (specifically succulents) totally BLEW. I drove all the way here and Whole Foods Market had a better assortment of succulents than this overrated joint. Fail. read more

Overly impressed sales staff, in particular blonde millennial 'girl' never acknowledged as we approach the counter with arms full of purchases. Once the sale was complete, she never made eye contact or said "thanks" for spending your $$$ here. Her manager was standing behind at the counter, and clearly he didn't mind her non-existent customer service. Another short haired and older woman did ask if she could help us, though. Where'd the nice folks of Redenta's end up? The one star is for the location. read more

I have been frequent offender of Redenta's for years. They have the best plant selection as long as it already hasn't been sold out. I have got to the point where I don't tell people about it as I want to hoard it for myself. I used to buy some plants at Home Depot that I could have spent a little more and bought them at Redenta's. Well fellow Yelpers, spend the extra and buy at Redenta's. I don't know what magic spell they put on their plants but they grow with AMAZING results. They can often get you some odd and rare plants that you wouldn't see any where else, even North Haven Gardens. I love the pepper plant selection they have their as well. The plants that they have planted all around their location are something to behold as well. (Also give you some great gardening ideas too!) A BIG dirty hands shout out to Bucky and the rest of the Redenta staff for always being friendly & helpful!!!! read more

Helpful, informative, friendly and welcoming - Redenta's staff is top notch in the gardening department, always eager to assist in your organic-method needs. As a container gardener, I buy a good deal of my plants from this unique little nursery, and have never been disappointed by the advice these folks offer - they know and love their work, and are always more than happy to help. The nursery offerings are much smaller than your usual store, but their plants are of top quality, always. Plenty of shrubs, flowering vines, succulents, trees and more - as well as water plants and features. There are two outdoor areas, as well as an indoor gardening section near the register. Don't miss the enclosed fertilizer/soil/pottery department - there are often sales going on in the center of the room. As I mentioned, Redenta's focuses exclusively on organic gardening, and does tend toward local soils and supplies. If you keep specific-needs plants that require certain substrates, the staff will help you to find them, or locally-friendly alternatives. For example, I keep carnivorous plants, which are usually recommended to plant in peat moss. Well, peat moss isn't a local option - but sphagnum is. The Redenta's staff led me in the right direction, and my plants couldn't be happier. If you haven't stopped by this unassuming little store, please give it a try. These folks are wonderful at what they do, and the plants are healthy and lovely. As well, a gorgeous selection of pottery and yard sculpture is available - so much to enjoy! Have fun! read more

I discovered Redenta's Garden while searching online for landscaping ideas for our new house. I was impressed with their all-natural, organic approach to gardening right away. So I stopped in one day after work, and checked out their selection. The gentleman that helped me that day was very informative and knowledgeable. I explained some of my needs, and he helped point me in the right direction, as well as give me pointers on what to do with my sad, weed-infested lawn. I was happy to see that they carried Mexican Feathergrass, which I needed to replace some old plants in my "gravel garden". I definitely plan to stop in there again as my garden comes to fruition! read more

Oh how I love thee... let me count the lemon tree's. I was dying to get a plantin for an amazing lemon tree. How I love lemons and have wanted my own lemon tree for a while and Redenta's already had some in stock (unlike Waltons)... they also had an inspiring array of things... I ended up dropping a couple bills in like 15 minutes on my lemon tree, the very large sexy red planter it will live in, a strawberry for an inside pot and some onion starters... I just wanted to take the whole place home and you will too! The staff were super helpful and all to ready to handle my questions. I'll be back all season long! read more

Best garden shop in Dallas in my opinion. They do charge more for succulents and boutique items but as a gardener looking to spruce up my landscape with native perennial species this shop is perfect. They have unique selections and knowledgeable and friendly staff. read more

I had my store manager go there because I needed a watering can for some plants I figured She would pop in and just pick up one. Overpriced overpriced overpriced the first plastic hand was $22 the metal pan was 42 here are some pictures. I went to Redenta's today and I don't really know how I feel about it. The inside of the store was cute and they did have a few plants but it wasn't what I was expecting after reading the reviews. Yes it is early but a lot of gardeners start spring planning ahead of time and I didn't find a great variety. I do love the fact that they are organic friendly but I hate that they are pricey. I normally by my herbs and veggies for under a little over a buck but they were close to $3 at Redenta's and I couldn't bring myself to get any of them. I will say I loved that they had the seed germinator soil that I was looking for but again not at the price I was used to. Rendeta's is a cute place, but I definitely think it's meant for gardeners who are able to/willing to spend more money than probably needed. ( I do plan on stopping by later in the spring to see if they will have a greater selection or sales, I'm hoping I stopped by at an awkward time) Did I like Redenta's? Yes. Will this be my organic gardening headquarters? Probably not. Is my organic garden store with good pricing search still in process? Yes. read more

I was planning on spending thousands of dollars at this garden shop for landscaping for my brand new house. The staff told me they didn't have "the time" to create an order and didn't have "the time" to answer my questions. If they are going to charge double the price as every other nursery, their customer service needs drastic improvement. read more
