I called and asked could they accommodate a special request short notice and they did Spectacular. Better than I expected, done quickly and more than a fair price. Wow!!! My daughter's uniquely designed orchid corsage with diamon-like accents from Cactus Flower's was absolutely stunning! The COOLEST feature....it was affixed to a black satin slap-bracelet so it was both comfortable and fit her wrist perfectly! Ingenious!!! Her date's coordinating boutonnière was also from Cactus and was handsome with unique with gold floral wire designs throughout!! Highly recommend!!! read more

This is the 3rd time I've received flowers and they are NOT fresh. The people that take the order assure that the order will be perfect.but the flowers wilt and die within one day. So disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Then they replace the order with something totally different UGH! And they take the few live flowers back which is total BS!!!!!! Get it right Cactus Flowers.... I live in the Midwest, but wanted to surprise my best friend who lives in Arizona with her favorite flower (sunflowers) for her birthday. After not having any luck with the standard "order online" websites, I googled florists near her zip code. Cactus Flower came up, and had great reviews, so I called them. I was helped by a woman named Alejandra. She was really friendly, patient, and thorough. I called Saturday night, and they were able to deliver the flowers on Monday, my friend's birthday. She sent me a picture and I was really happy and pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the arrangement was. Had I ordered online, my only options would have been arrangements with 2 or 3 sunflowers surrounded by other flowers, but this one had at least 10 healthy looking flowers surrounded by beautiful greens. I uploaded a picture of the bouquet onto here. I'm really happy I called Cactus Flower, and that they were able to help me surprise my best friend even from the other side of the country. read more

I stumbled upon this florist while trying to find orchids for my fiancée. I called a couple of other florists regarding price and availability. When I called Cactus Flower the initial price was cheaper than the others I called, and they were located off of the same street I live on. When I found the store I was impressed by the large selection of flowers. I was even more happy to find a sign that read orchid sale. Score! I asked what that meant. The sale was for orchids in a pot, which isn't wasn't what I wanted. I asked about other orchids and the return question asked what kind? I gave a blank stare. She narrowed it down to two kinds of orchids available, which I cannot even list here because the terminology was so foreign I just heard long words that I cannot remember. My inner monologue turned to Butthead and thought "uuuhh....I'm a dude....". Somehow we picked one. We walked in the cooler and she picked out the flowers. She said oh, and it's happy hour! My inner voice perked up again and added "Dang right it is!" I know what happy hour meant to me, but what does it mean for a flower shop? So I asked. "What does that mean?". As it turns out, from 12-5 it was 50% cash and carry - so the price I thought was already good was now half price. Since I already had an budget in mind that meant more flowers - so I added more orchids and 12 roses - mostly red, but they had a variety of roses so I mixed it up. Leaving the store the lady wrapped them up very nicely. She told me promise me that I will take these straight home and/or not leave them in the hot car. She said if I am not going straight home, take them with me. She didn't care if I was going in the manliest place on earth (or at least Chandler) - she said walk in with them like I was Miss America. I elected to go home first and drop them off before going out to do my normal manly routines. I was very pleased with my find and experience. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable in helping me with the selection. I will return here again rather than order a mail-order in a box like I used to do. read more

I come here frequently for the variety of flowers available and the great sale on Friday (50% off all flowers from 12-4). However, many times the flowers are breathing their last breath and die shortly after taking them out of the cooler at the shop. Usually I don't mind as much because I got them on sale. However, Tuesday 5/19/15, my husband bought me a beautiful bouquet from this location for our anniversary. Within 24 hours, all of the blue flowers in the bouquet (which made up several of the stems), had fallen off and into a big mess on the kitchen floor and counter. When you pay so much for flowers, you should at least get ONE day out of them! (See picture) Also, not everyone here is as friendly. I'd come in one morning looking to purchase flowers for my grandmothers 80th birthday, which was around Easter time, and the woman made it very clear that I was an inconvenience and said that they wouldn't have time to arrange the flowers I'd picked out into a bouquet because I didn't call ahead of time. My only option was to pay for one of their over priced pre-arranged bouquets (which I did... $64.99 for TULIPS--the cheapest flower next to carnations) or leave with loose, un-arranged flowers. Usually I go to just get flowers for my house, which is fine. But the next time I need to get them as a gift, I'll not be going here. read more

Amazing experience all around. The florist I spoke to on the phone was extremely friendly and helpful! I called wanting to purchase some flowers for my fiancé's birthday. I knew that I did not want the stereotypical arrangement but could only describe it to her as something unique and earthy. They knocked it out of the park and worked up a beautiful bouquet matching exactly what I was looking for. My fiancé absolutely loved them! They were delivered to her place of business as promised!! Still one of the best florist in town. I order from these guys all the time or I drop in and pick up a fresh bouquet. I have always been impressed but this time was different. The roses didn't look as good, the bouquet didn't pop as normal & the rose buds were already open. I will still use these guys but I hope they return to the level of EXCEPTIONAL products I have grown accustomed too and can't find anywhere in the valley. read more

I must say that I really enjoy coming here. The lovely staff that works here are very friendly and have helped me put together some amazing arrangements that my girlfriend have absolutely loved. I am a fan of putting together my own arrangements instead of purchasing the pre-made arrangements. I enjoy adding my personal touch. I needed to send flowers for a family who lost a loved one and was hoping for a 24 hour turn around so that I caught the family before they had to leave town for the funeral. Boy did Cactus Flowers STEP IT UP. Amazing!! They got the flowers together for me the same day and got it to them this afternoon! Bravo Cactus Flowers. Here is what the family said. This is such a fun, hands-on flower shop! I purchased a beautiful bouquet here for my boss' birthday, and it was very affordable and fresh. When I first called, I was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes by a young girl only to have somebody pick up the phone and hang up on me without saying a word. When I called back, a different person answered and transferred me back to the same young girl, who seemed bothered and uninterested in helping. She kept speaking over me while I was trying to convey what I was hoping for and repeatedly tried to upsell me even after I clearly explained my budget of $150. This was not my idea of a grand gesture for a birthday gift. I specifically asked for peonies to be the centerpiece, and what was delivered felt lackluster, underwhelming, and lacking creativity. The arrangement my daughter received looked much smaller and far less impressive than what I expected for the price paid and the expectations set. It did not feel grand or special at all. Overall, the customer service and final product did not match the experience I hoped for. I will not be using their services again. Edit: I've also included the pink bouquet I purchased from Imagine Flowers (Scottsdale) at the same price, delivery included.
