We have had free rooms at Cache Creek for some time but until now had only done day trips. A 1 night get away using 2 comped rooms with my mom and my husband. Outstanding rooms in the South tower! Bathrooms are huge, the shower is almost too big, you have to get out of the water to adjust the temp. That big! Comfortable beds, bath robes, smart fridge. Coffee in the room was not good. And the coffee maker in mom's room didn't work at all. Very thoughtful lighting was a stand out. The pool/spa area was beautiful even in the rain! The elevators to the hotel were confusing to me at first, when you push your floor it will tell which elevator to get in. I got the hang of it. The casino was the casino. This time we left ahead;) A lovely stay was had by all!

Cache Creek is my new favorite casino in NorCal!! After a 5-year hiatus I recently came back and had a good time. Fast forward a month and they have sent me some great incentives and I'm quite surprised as I've never received them before. For January 2026 I have 2 free night stay, a good amount of free play and food credit. I stayed at the hotel for the new year and I was very much impressed. Upon arriving I utilized the free valet and it was nice and easy. The hotel check-in process was seamless and the front desk staff as well as the bell staff were amazing. Customer service here overall is just at an all-time high and I love that. The king bedroom I was given was in the South Tower which was the newer tower and I had a valley view as well as a pool view. The view was amazing although it was cloudy and raining I could look out the window all day. The room was very modern and chic, the bathroom was spacious and clean. The bed was firm yet extremely comfortable and I have no complaints. This was one of the better rooms that I've stayed at in a casino. My two-day stay was great, the slots did me right as I won a jackpot and kept winning. I accumulated a lot of cache comp which paid for my meals during my stay as well as my gas. My only complaints are the excessive amount of smoke, my clothes reek of smoke. Also, I had a few issues at one of the restaurants but other than that everything was good. Overall, this may be my new go-to casino!!

I'm not a gambler in any way shape or form but it's nice to do random things once in a blue moon. Haven't been back in over a decade, and boy oh boy so many changes for the good. Beautiful swimming pool area, nice upgraded hotel rooms, and ample table and slot machines. . Dealers and customers are friendly and fun to be around. Nice restaurants to eat throughout your stay. I came... won... and left a winner. :)

We stayed one night at the resort this past weekend and it was amazing! Room: We had a room in the South Tower on the 9th floor. The view was breathtaking, over the serene rolling foothills. The elevator requires you to enter your floor number, and then assigns an elevator for you to get on. This was cool and the fact that we didn't have to stop at every floor to let people on or off was an added bonus. Casino: The casino has many of the newer games so we were pretty excited about that. We were able to use our freeplay, and the machines were semi-generous. I saw several handpays which also gives me hope for one (LOL), but always a nice thing to see that the machines are paying. A little smokey but not too bad. Canyon Cafe: I learned that the cafe takes reservations through Open Table (uh oh, the secret is out!) so that worked in our favor for dinner on Saturday night (pre-concert meal), as well as a late breakfast on Sunday. The food was nothing short of amazing. They were super busy Sunday morning but the servers were hustling and doing as well as could be expected during a busy time. Concert Venue: We had tickets to see The Commodores. We were in the 7th row on the floor, which were great seats. The Commodores were amazing! The only thing I didn't like was that during several songs, people with seats farther back, were allowed to dance right in front of stage, and security did not stop them. One gal kept running up to the stage and taking selfies with the performers behind her, constantly blocking the person sitting in the front, on the end. I am not security so it is up to that person to say something, however, if you buy a ticket for a premium seat, others should not be allowed to rush to the front so they have a front seat view. I am not being a downer about this, I am just suggesting that security not allow people to block others' view. I mean, why is security stationed at both ends of the stage if they aren't going to do their jobs? Bars: We sat at the Elevate Lounge and had a couple of drinks when we first arrived. The bartender made an excellent Raspberry Lemon Drop! Later on in the day, we sat at the bar at the cafe. Evan (Bartender) was very attentive, and was very kind when we asked him to take our picture. Overall, this casino has definitely set the bar high for service and entertainment!

If remembering cache creek it's always this burger spot on the side. We love how the deli cheeseburger with fries on the side they are consistently serving grilled flavor of patty and crispy French fries and this is the burger flavor me and husband always love...

Cache Creek has to be The cleanest casino around! There's always an attendant in the restroom which keeps the bathrooms spotless and stocked and there's always staff going around and cleaning the machines and straightening the chairs. The staff including the security guards are always pleasant and helpful all the while keeping everyone safe! And when I play the table games the dealers and the bosses are engaging a super nice too. I go there to have fun and they really help me feel like I'm having fun. I go with the mindset to play and not necessarily to win because it's a casino and the casino always wins! From the time that I arrive and have the free valet service plug my car in to charge, to eating a nice bowl of Pho, to gaming on the slots and tables and having valet bring my car to me I'm having a blast!

A messed up machine that no one here seems to care about.

Ironically I have a completed guest comment form in my purse. We come here whenever my mom visits, which is a couple of times a year. On my last 3 visits, including this one I have been literally sucked by how poor the slots play and pay. The casino is in disrepair (torn chairs) and they are short staffed. Not one of the 6 machines I have played on this trip have paid out and my current one literally should have paid out several times but never did. I have been waiting for service for over 15 minutes and have given up hope on being helped. I honestly feel like this should be my last visit here. We played at Red Hawk Casino AND Cache Creek Casino twice in the last week and the difference between the two experiences has been staggering. I walked out of Red Hawk with $473 extra dollars in my pocket just 2 days ago. Here, I'm just going to walk out feeling depressed and like I just got screwed in public. I am NOT a fan of Cache Creek Casino.

This review is mainly for the casino floor. It's gorgeous inside side. Sleek, dark, and filled with a ton of slot machines and table games. I played on one of my favorite machines and got a small bonus early. Areas are marked clearly so you can find the cashier and restrooms easily. I'm looking forward to visiting again and trying their restaurants.

We didn't want noises of cars driving by, people roaming the streets and having conversations outside of your bedroom window. I came across this place while surfing airbnb and we couldn't have been any happier that we found it. Briana was a great host! She gave me a call within a few hours of me booking the place online. She advised me that it would be smart to have all of my grocery shopping done prior to arriving at Casa Bella Verde as there are no stores in the immediate area and she also advised me of the unpaved road that is leading up to the house when you turn off the main road. Having the knowledge of these things was very helpful. The "guest house" that you stay in has everything that you might need to have a weekend (or even longer) of relaxation. The guest house is very modern with the amenities one might need and not need. We were particularly fans of the jacuzzi hot tub which is big enough to fit 4 adults. We enjoyed having our morning coffee on the deck which has some amazing views. As a host, we couldn't have asked for a better one. When we got there she did a walk through with us to explain to us on how all of the gadgets work (everything is very high tech.) The fridge was stocked with eggs, some english muffins, and orange juice. As we were making dinner we realized we forgot olive oil and balsamic, I had asked Briana is she by chance had any and without a doubt she did. Within a couple of minutes of me asking I was able to walk over to the main house and there was what we had asked for on the kitchen counter. Thank you for everything Briana and I look forward to seeing you again in the near future.

Solage is nestled right on the Silverado Trail in the heart of Calistoga, and the location is unbeatable--you're basically three minutes from downtown and a short, scenic drive from St. Helena and Yountville. The property itself is stunning. It's got that modern wine-country vibe with about 100 detached studios spread across 20-plus acres. When you're sitting in one of the natural hot spring pools or hitting the cold dips at the spa, it really does feel like world-class luxury. Between the mud slides, the gravity chairs, and the fitness classes, you can easily spend your whole trip without leaving the gates. The Food: Solbar is a must. We had the seven-course New Year's Eve prix fixe with wine pairings over numerous years, and each were equally unique and incredible. It's that perfect balance of farm-to-table "health" food and total comfort dishes. For something more low-key, Picobar by the pool has some of the best Baja-style tacos I've had in NorCal. Plus, the whole place is super dog-friendly, which is a huge win for us. The Experience & Pro-Tip: Definitely book through AmEx Platinum if you can. We used the Fine Hotels + Resorts program and snagged a $300 credit, a late 4 p.m. checkout, and an automatic upgrade. I will say, even "perfect" places have their off moments. This year, despite requesting a room close to the spa months in advance (and confirming twice), they initially tucked us away at the far edge of the property. I wasn't thrilled about hiking across 22 acres in my robe and sandals! I spoke with the front desk, and the concierge actually went back and reviewed my recorded calls to verify the request. They did move us about 30 minutes later to a spot half the distance away, though it lacked the private fenced patio and fireplace of our original booking. I was too tired to keep fighting it and just wanted to get to the spa, so I settled in. Despite that hiccup, the service and the atmosphere here remain some of the best in the world. It's not cheap, but for the memories and the access to Napa's best vineyards, it's worth it every time. Can't wait to be back next year.

The room service could have been better as they missed delivery of the pre-ordered breakfast in the morning as the night shift didn't properly fill in the order request and didn't get placed, but the team quickly remedied the situation and delivered not too long after our original request time. The rooms were comfy with a good layout, but the garden out back were covered with fences and it didn't feel as freeing as Stanly Ranch's rooms where the back patio is uncovered. She had a mission that night, and let's just say the dealers were more than happy to accept her donations. After watching her try her luck, I figured I had to step in and see if I could change the story. A few hands of blackjack later, the tables started looking a little friendlier. Somehow, I went from the guy who didn't even want to be there to the guy trying to win it all back. Beyond the laughs and the gambling, what stood out was the atmosphere. Thunder Valley has that exciting Vegas-style energy without having to leave Northern California. The property is beautiful, the staff was welcoming, and there's plenty to do whether you're there for gaming, food, or just a fun night out. I may not have walked in as a casino fan, but I definitely walked out appreciating the experience. Sometimes the best nights are the ones you didn't plan. Thunder Valley -- you might have just converted me.

I have only booked massages here, I do want to get a facial here some time. The masseuses are very professional and good! They have a co ed waiting area for when you're ready for your massage or you have to go to the waiting area in your locker room so your technician can find you. I find it easiest to call and book an appointment over the phone. They're open until 7pm and if you have a service you have in and out privileges all day.

Starting with the nice-sized hot tub indoors, and also a good sized sauna and steam room. This spot didn't have too many areas to sit and lounge. unlike burke which has separate meditation and relax in rooms which I like. I do like the steamer and sauna here better than burke's. My esthetician, Danielle, was great. And create a lot of information on the products use which I appreciated. Ingredient regulations in the u s versus europe and other asian countries, interesting, thnx! My only complaint would be that the walk from the casino to the spa is a long way , but that's just me being binge lazy. I do like the bathing suit dryer and plastic bags provided, but they do lack the little things like qtips, cotton, brushes, glad I usually bring my own anyway. Can't wait to return!

We stayed in one of the soaking rooms and it was wonderful. We were provided with towels and salts to use specifically for the soaking tub. The tub was conveniently located in the main room with a view of the large screen TV which also could be pulled out from the wall and angled towards the tub and bed. We were a little confused about how the tv worked since it seemed that other guests were signed in to the streaming platforms, but that was likely user error. Perhaps a little note about logging in to streaming services next to the TV might be useful for others in the future. We were also able to access live channels. The room was clean, and had a microwave and mini fridge for our leftovers after eating out or for small grocery items from CalMart. The location is great and a short walk to downtown Calistoga. We were provided with robes at check in which were useful for the hot tubs and pools. There are two mineral water hot tubs of different temperatures and one large mineral pool for swimming. There are showers and changing rooms available in the pool area as well. They provided bicycles and helmets that we could take to ride during the desk hours. We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived in Calistoga and checked into the hotel and spa. While a few of us checked in for our massages, my daughter and partner checked into our room. The massages were wonderful, we were very relaxed and went back to the room to change to swimwear. Note: The flavored waters near the spa are delicious, try them all. Our room was a really nice renovated King Suite, that also has a Queen bedroom attached. A little kitchen area, fridge sink and table, then the restroom area with added storage and seating. The pool is amazing, the water is so fresh and relaxing. The two hot tubs are heated to separate temperatures, it was just so nice to spend time going there. I found the early morning swim to be the best way to start my day. On my departure day, I decided to try a mud-bath treatment with my sister and although it was not my first time, I realized that mud baths are just not my thing. Staff was great, the spa was fantastic, hotel and pool were so relaxing. I would definitely book another weekend at the Golden Haven and recommend you treat yourself too.

You are never more than 100 yards maybe from the pool, I had a view of it from my room. That pool (heated) and the gym are great, clean, not too many people (at least on weekdays in February), plenty of equipment. Plus of course there's the hot tub. I measured the length of the pool in Google satellite view and it's about 20 yards so you can get some decent laps in. There are seating areas in and near the lobby; my team had a spot to play board games in the hallway one night. We had a meeting room right off the bar for a small 3-day conference. We had some natural light coming through frosted windows but no direct. There was another room in a separate building with natural light that looked really great, but ours was fine too. We thoroughly enjoyed the s'mores + hot toddy night and the hand-painted ornament workshop. We may need to return again during the holidays. And if you manage to get out to explore, downtown Sonoma is just about a 15-min walk away.
