Andrea W.

I came here with some friends to camp just to stay over so we wouldn't have to wake up super early for rafting the next day. The campground was really dark and difficult to navigate at night, but eventually we found our spot (the numbers are painted on the ground). The ground is pretty bumpy for camping as well, and the facilities are pretty average - bathrooms aren't very clean, and not very plentiful either. It's pretty cheap though, at $25/night. Not much to see, though there's a river in the park! We saw people bathing and swimming later in the day there (when we rafted by).

Here is the beach, notice people rafting

We've been coming here for many years since my daughter was only 4 years old. Now she's 18 and she still loves coming up to this secluded campground, she has many things to do, like fishing, swimming, river rafting, or just sunbathing. My 2yr old son also loves the place because it's got a playground, an open space if he wants to place soccer. Their bathroom is normally clean and well lit up at night. Water next to your camp site is a plus but right now they only have a couple of faucets open due to drought. We love the shady sites, the table, the open fire pit and the space that you can park your car in front of your site. The newly added sink where you can wash your utensils, pots and pans is also an upgrade and a plus! At night, people gather at their fire pits, play songs, laughing and just having fun. The music and lights usually die down at around 10 PM. It's $25 per night which is not bad. They have a general store where you can buy ice cream, ice and fire wood for $5 a bundle (other things I guess). I totally dig that it's secluded. The next town is about 20 mins away and 30 mins drive to Cache Creek Casino if you are feeling lucky. Cons: No cellphone connection so remember to turn your phones off or else it will drain your battery ( roaming) that's why it's only 4 star. But we will return, always!

Good for boaters because you can park your boat trailers there. Rude woman behind the desk at check in. Had a broken sprinkler head next to our site. Had to report it for somebody to turn it off. Zero cell service. Hotter than hell. Close to lovely small town of Winters which has restaurants, breweries, and wine tasting. It's on the road to Napa if you want to go west. Maybe 25-30 miles away. Section C seemed to have the nicest spots including one really close to the water so we were a little disappointed we couldn't book there. The hot tub was out of service during our stay, which was a letdown since it was part of why we booked. The pool was a nice alternative, though it could use a debris catcher to stay cleaner. Wi-Fi worked for basic browsing, but not for streaming. Overall, we enjoyed the stay and would go back just better prepared next time and hoping for a little more flexibility in site selection.

Came out the same weekend that they were having a bass competition Porter potties were overflowing…read more I asked why the issue was and they said that they didn't plan for enough staff which sounds like some mismanagement to me. Families with small children--Be AWARE RV generators are allowed to run until 10PM with LOUD NOISE!…read moreThe campsite itself is wonderful -- beautifully situated right by Lake Berryessa. The restrooms are available and clean (I honestly don't know why others complain about them), and the staff who manage the site are nice and responsive.we stayed at #16. The only major downside is the campground's policy on generators for RV. They allow them to run until 10 p.m., which can be unbearable for families with little kids who go to bed earlier. Our children are 7 and 5, and the constant noise at night made it very difficult for them to sleep. When I asked our immediate neighbor number 15 if she could turn it off earlier, she said management had told her it was permitted until 10 p.m. I called management after hour number and was given the same answer. Unfortunately, once everything quiets down at night, the generator noise becomes even more disruptive. It was a very uncomfortable experience for us, and unless this policy changes, we won't be returning or recommending the campground to our friends -- which is a shame, because the location and facilities are otherwise excellent.

*Great & Amazing Experience, I will come again sometime*…read more This was my first time choosing to rent from this company. I was worried that I had to rent a U-Haul pickup truck to tow their equipment. No Worries!! After making a reservation online, you show up on time. Time is important, it was quite a drive and I was 30 minutes late to my reservation. It was all good, I made it on time to enjoy the jet skis! Upon arrival, a person will brief you everything. Once completed, you follow the person towing your rental to the launch gate. Parking is $20, cash only! From there, you will enjoy your rental! Despite my experience, I did ran through a problem during my rental. I followed their rules and yet I got a warning light. Called the phone number they have given me, luckily I was with a buddy. They sent guys out to tow the jet ski, thank you! After we got back, no problems or damages were found on both jet skis. Small issue was oil overfill during the time the jet ski went through maintenance. It was understandable but I was given $25 for my next rental and refund back. We've taken it with care and hope someday to return to have fun!! S/O to the staff, thank you once again :)
