We rented the entire Abbey House Inn for my wedding weekend last June. The place itself is beautiful, clean, and totally charming. But it was really the owners who went above and beyond to make our stay great. They helped us coordinate breakfast from a local bakery and gave us some wiggle room on arrival/leave times that were really appreciated. Thank you!

Gave advice on what restaurants, shops, and wineries she thought we'd be interested in. Bunkie, who worked at the office, was very helpful. We stayed in an off-site at the Petite Syrah bungalow. It was in perfect condition and so clean. The amenities were great! Prior to arrival, I arranged for them to provide a shower chair for my husband, who is ill. It was in the shower when we arrived. The bed was comfy, and the gas fireplace was a nice touch. We had a small patio and a separate porch, which were so nice to sit on for coffee or drinks in the early evening. There was a hot tub, but we didn't get a chance to use it. There were other bungalows, but we didn't see any other guests. It was a gated property. Shopping, the downtown area, and restaurants were all within a quick drive. Good delivery was easy and quick. It has a full kitchen and a good selection of utensils, dishes, and pots and pans. I recommend bringing your own spices if you plan to cook something special. I wanted cumin for a meal, but I could only find a huge jar at the supermarket. Sonoma is beautiful, and we can't wait to come back. Sonoma Bungalows, we'll see you soon!

It's made an amazing recovery and the new lodge is gorgeous and wonderful. I love Four Springs for retreats because the staff is wonderful, the accommodations are comfy and the setting is just gorgeous. It's back up the mountain so as to make it perfectly peaceful but not so far as to make it an ordeal to get there. Trust me, I know about remote retreats. Tassajara comes to mind. No narrow gravel road over a steep mountain pass necessitating 4WD. Love Tassajara but sometimes it's nice to be some where easier to get to. Four Springs is it. They always have great meals and very interesting seminars if you are into that. I would have my corporate Team Builder at Four Springs in a heart beat if I needed to. Their retreats and seminars are wonderful. I was on a yoga retreat here once. It was great. Spacious quiet rooms. Not glitzy. Not glamorous. Just true California simplicity. You'll feel right at home here.

Tim was incredibly accommodating in letting us visit the site to workout all the pre-wedding details we needed. If you are looking for an outdoor wedding and guests are down for a rustic affair, this is the perfect location. Thankfully Four Springs also rents their cabins on airbnb. We look forward to being able to spend a weekend here and enjoying the beautiful atmosphere of the woods. The only reason this isn't a 5 star rating is because there were a few times that we didn't receive email responses quickly. He was much better by phone and I personally work better via email. So choose this venue but give him a call.

We could not have found a better place. The owner, Lisa, and her husband Jon, are the nicest people ever. We didn't talk to Jon much, but Lisa is amazing, the kind of person you think, "I want to know her as a friend!" She's funny, gregarious, thoughtful, and truly a multi-talented person. You can book her to do Reiki or massage in your room, she's a CMT. She has so many interests and talents. She's also a vegetarian, so if you need vegetarian recommendations for the area, don't hesitate to ask. She makes you a breakfast of fresh squeezed orange juice, fresh fruit, croissants, jam, butter, and scones and leaves it on your patio. There is a kitchen in the cottage, with coffee maker, and she has Peet's coffee for you. She also includes thoughtful gestures, like milk and creamer, sugar, snacks, water, and a bottle of wine from their own vineyard. We opened the fridge to find brie and The Girl and the Fig fig jam, which went nicely with our wine. I liked it so much I went to the Girl and the Fig and bought more jam to take home. The cottage is a 1 bedroom, with a king bed, full jacuzzi bath and shower, pull out sofa, TV, DVD, cable, iPod docking station. I slept on the sofa, but knowing pullouts aren't comfortable I brought an aerobed and put it on top of the sofa, which worked great for me. You are next to a vineyard. A little one. So don't think you are stranded in the midst of a field, you aren't. There's grounds to walk, a bocci ball court, swimming pool, jacuzzi, tennis court, and you are 5 minutes driving distance from downtown Sonoma. We went out to lunch or dinner, and the other meal got fruit, tomatoes, cheese, bread, and meats and ate on the patio. We also drank copious amount of wine. It was divine. It's quiet. You may hear a rooster, the donkey next door braying, but that's about it. You can see all the stars at night. This is a perfect place for a honeymoon, girls' weekend, anniversary, proposal...anything! I can even see a wedding here, with the vines in the background, and the couple staying here for the honeymoon. Lisa's hospitality and the beauty of the area need no further accolades. Stay here. You'll like it.

Hotel Winters - Love the bathroom!!

Lovely and chic hotel!…read more I stayed here over the weekend of the Tractor Parade and had a lovely time! When we got to the lobby, we were greeted by the pleasant scent of the spa and a complementary glass of wine. The lobby was gorgeous. There was a nice fire going with plenty of seating, even some mounted down tablets where kids can play games. Outside, there is a ton of patio seating as well. There are fire pits, cozy chairs, and a pool (that seems to be more of a puddle). This hotel is unique in that it promotes socialization. I noticed that there is an abundance of seating not just in the lobby, but on the room floors as well. With the wine and fire pits, it makes for the perfect evening to chat with the other guests. The rooms are also super nice! They were spacious and very clean. The shower was huge with two high-powered shower heads. The shampoo and conditioners bottles were high quality and smelled very nice too. We paid a $75 pet fee and the room, to my pleasant surprise, came furnished with a dog bed and pet food bowl. This hotel is very dog friendly! I would say though that the lighting in the room was very minimal. There was no overhead lighting; just a few lamps that directed light down. Regardless, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Winters and would love to stay here again!

We had to stay here for a conference. This CA town has a population of 7500 people. Everyone knows each other and there are 4-6 big families known here from the town's origination. We were greeted upon arrival at the hotel registration desk. The registration is two large sit down desks with the hotel agents offering a glass of wine at check in. There is 1 restaurant attached to the hotel, and it is only open for most business from 4-9 Mon-Sun. They offer a coffee shop with pastries counter service Mon-Wed 7:30a-11:30a. It's a bit inconvenient because if you work earlier than 7:30, you must walk a block to another place or drive 10 mins to Starbucks. The hotel is beautiful, very minimalistic, rustic modern, and the design is geared towards Wine Vineyard/Tuscan/Farm like decor. There is a common area in the lobby, an outside large patio with a shallow fountain pool. The inside offers a two sides fireplace with seating on both sides. A small corner next to the 2 elevators has 3 tablets that are fixed in place for guests, this seems to be a business corner in the open space. There is also conference space. Our room was nice but when we arrived, the toilet paper stand was on top of the toilet seat. This was very odd at 8:30p since they had several hours to quality check our room before we checked in late at night. The good news is that I had no itchiness after staying here. There was a clean bed, bathroom, desk, and carpet. For our 3 night stay, it was a good experience.
