DONT BUY FROM CABINETS TO GO!!!!! My countertop purchase was horrible....I checked the box to view slab before fabrication and they failed to call me. They cut it then called me and told me it was ready. When I told them I had checked the box to see the slab first and even had the sales person make a notation in the computer, they more or less said too bad. I then asked them to send pictures of the cut slab. When they did, It had a large gray vain running through it and it looked nothing like the picture of the slab that I ordered from. The picture I ordered from was cream colored with light soft gold veining. I had multiple conversations with Sherry Pennier and she was not the nicest person to deal with. She told me that I would have to buy another slab and have it redone. When I asked her for the number of her supervisor she refused to give it to me. After arguing she finally said she would have the next person up give me a call. Sean Demory was no better. When I asked him for the next person up he said he was it. He refused to give me an email or number of anyone else I could talk to. When I asked him what happened to customers were always right he said no they were not. I feel very confident coming here and am hesitant to go elsewhere. There are many options to choose from. Cabinets are junk spend over $10,000 for my cabinets and the paint started to chip in less than a year. All they would do is sent my a touch up paint kit. Are you kidding. I have several cabinets are chipping. It looks like I will have to get them all painted with in the year. I'd leave messages on phone but rarely received a return call. I'd send emails which would go unanswered for days or would ask for one thing and get another The cabinets were supposed to arrive in 2 weeks but it took 4 and the salesman never initiated contact about the delays. We hired the installer recommended by them and it was an awful experience-- incompetent workers who needed oversight but contractor did not do so -- resulting in damage to our home and incomplete work which we finished ourselves. We were 7 weeks without a kitchen because the pace of work was so slow. Contractor seemed incapable of time management for the project. read more

After receiving good references from Cabinets To Go, I decided to give them a chance for the renovation of my kitchen including the installation of the counter tops and cabinets. I didn't know it was the worst nightmare we had lived when we saw the disastrous installation they made. At the beginning I was charged twice, fortunatlly my bank reject the second payment. The installer of the cabinets did not complete the work on the first visit, the tops of the cabinets, alignment of the boxes was lousy, and the drawers did not close properly. The handles mysteriously disappeared; the installer was unable to complete the job. We ordered another kind of lower quality and then the installer placed them totally misaligned. The supervisor came to see the work and lined up the handles, there were some drawers that he had to fill because the screws were loose due to the terrible job the installer did. There were gaps between the wall and the cabinets, the contractor said that he wasn't filled by caulking but he could make an exception in my case. Then the countertop contractor came to install it. What a tremendous mess! some of them were totally misaligned, he said that he had laid down his body when the adhesive was still freshly applied. He came to fix them, and he didn't have any tools, fortunately there was another worker hired by me who lent him use his tools to work. At the end, when everything was installed, we noticed that one of the drawers under the sink was twisted and misaligned. The contractor's supervisor came to fix it. All this happened in almost 7 weeks. We called the Cabinets to go branch many times, they tried to assist us. In one of the calls, I invited the branch manager to stop by my home to see by himself the mess, but he said that they never go to supervise the work. read more

Update: My mom finally got the remainder of her cabinets after almost 3 weeks of receiving the first half of her order. The cabinets look very nice and so we're happy with the quality for the price paid. Overall, I'd give them an OK rating for the entire experience but I hope future customers don't run into such issues because it's a hassle to get things corrected when errors occur. Original review: My mother and I shopped for cabinets after her home was damaged in Hurricane Harvey. The weekend before we stopped in, they had a "buy the bottom cabinet, get the top cabinet free." Even though the sale was over when we finally managed to get to the store two days later, Crystal honored that offer given our circumstances. I don't have anything bad to say about our experience with Crystal. We were able to get a quote without feeling pressured to buy that same day. We shopped around for a bit but ultimately purchased cabinets from here. About a month later, I got a phone call from the shipping company (completely separate company from Cabinets to Go). They called to verify our address, confirm date of delivery, and contact person. No issues there. When the shipment arrived, we only received half of our order. I have a claim open to resolve issue and will update this review if we ever get the rest of our order. It's been two weeks... nothing yet. If you have issues, it is best to go to the store in person and have them resolve the issue there. It is near impossible to reach anyone by phone. Their voicemail is full. I've even called the main customer service line to ask them to EMAIL the Houston office with my contact info to return my call. Not only are the cabinets beautiful and a great value for the price but Barry is very knowledgeable & professional. Worst company I've ever dealt with. My projects have been on hold for almost a month because of their mess-up, and they are careless about it. Their customer service is so bad that it makes you want to give them negative stars if it was possible. After re ordering the missing cabinets and waiting another 2 weeks, i find out that the truck was full and the cabinets were not shipped and were going to be coming in the next truck which is the next day. Next day comes and I find out that the cabinets are not here. The truck just didn't show up. As a general contractor, I have used various cabinet companies over the years. I decided to give try CTG as they seemed to be a good price given the quality. By paying a premium to have their contractors install the cabinets and countertops, I was hoping for trouble-free, turn-key service. What I got was far from that. My "good value" was quickly erased when multiple supplemental orders were necessary to achieve my original design as items were forgotten or not designed correctly in the first place. Then the countertop measurement was WAY more than estimated. They did accommodate me somewhat, but now I'm hearing from others in the industry that these issues are very common with Cabinets To Go. Where do I even begin with this review. Customer service- totally disappointed in the way they handled my project after it was all payed for. They wouldn't return my phone calls or emails. It took me weeks before I could actually talk to my sales person. Once I finally got ahold of them, she told me "oh yeah, your cabinets have been here". So why didn't I get a call from them or from the installer?? Installation- This makes my blood boil. The sales person told me they have experienced installers that have been with cabinets to go for years. So why when they start putting up cabinets they are installed upside down, not at the right height, and fillers are missing? Not only that but they left my kitchen in a total wreck and showed up 4 hours late. I've tried to call and text the installer, Josh Graber but he doesn't return phone calls either. The guy he hired to do my cabinets has taken them down 3 times already to fix his mistakes. This whole experience with cabinets to go has been frustrating from the time I walked in to their store. I will never recommend Cabinets to go to anyone who's is renovating their home, I started on my home in September of 2020 my cabinets were back ordered for November of 2020 then December 2020 they didn't come in until of February 2021!! Salesman Jason never let us know they where not assembled so we where very surprised when my wife went to pick them up and found out we have to build them. I found this place on the internet and I liked the catalog and all the details in it. After I ordered the free catalog I received an email from one of the designers asking if I needed any help. I replied and got no answer for over a week. I had to send an email to "Cabinets to Go" to inquire. The designer emailed back at last and sent me sheets to draw my kitchen and give him measurements which I did but he was not happy and needed "more details" Anyway after another couple weeks, I receive a call from a wonderful store manager (thank you Madisenne Burdock) who was the reason I changed my review from 1 star to 4. She was so accommodating and helpful. She worked with me step by step on what I needed and made the designs and sent me quotes for everything. This was all by phone and email. Now I am set and hope to have them come out soonest to the house and do the measuring and whatever else needs to be done. I will update this post throughout the Harvey rebuilding journey. read more

What we found was a staff that helped us quickly formulate a design to meet our needs, and they did so with compassion, keeping things light and positive. Tim did an amazing job, and while the office was very busy, took the time to listen to us and make great recommendations. When our cabinets arrived, some trim strip packages needed to be replaced. I recently remodeled my kitchen and ordered a full set of cabinets in Aspen White, total was almost 12,000. Prior to that I had redone 2 bathrooms and purchased the cabinets from them also. As the kitchen cabinets were being installed the contractor and I noticed that some of the cabinets (total of 5) were not the correct color, they were more of a creamy white. I contacted customer service and was told I had to contact the store I purchased them from. When I contacted the store, they told me to contact customer service, I told them I had already done that and I was told I needed to contact the store directly. I sent then pictures as requested but a month went by and I didn't hear anything from them. I sent them another email and told them that I expected a reply. I felt like I was being ignored. They said it had to be handled by the regional manager and they would contact me. After a reminder, a lady called me and said that they were going to issue a store credit of 500.00. Time went by and I hadn't received anything so I called the number that I got the call from and left several messages. Never heard back, so I send an email to the lady that helped me with my purchase and asked her for help. I wanted her to give me a contact number so that I could talk to a live person to see when I would receive the store credit. She never replied. I am so disappointed with the way they handled my problem, which hasn't really been resolved at all. I was a repeat customer that spend almost 15,000 but when I had a problem they don't want to hear about it, they just ignored me. My point is: make sure you check your cabinets before you install them so make sure they are all the correct color. There are lots of other places to buy cabinets, not just Cabinets to Go. read more

I have to agree with the others here. This is not the best run company. And given the fact they are nation wide, it's not really acceptable. To give the staff at the store credit, we did get our cabinets when they said we would, (i.e. 3 weeks, which is still two weeks longer than the last company I ordered cabs from) but I feel that was only because I told them I wanted to cancel when I didn't feel confident in their delivery time. At which point, they scrambled and got me my order. So I will give credit to the employees at the store for that. I do think they worked hard to make the best of a situation that was perhaps beyond their control. But the delivery process needs improving. As for the cabinets themselves, the boxes are not the highest quality, but the doors look good. And after we got them installed they look good. All in all though, the customer experience needs improvement. And whoever said they feel sorry for the owners of this company? Don't. I just saw the report on Lumber Liquidators on 60 Minutes. Cabs2Go is owned by Lumber Liquidators, so go figure. The good part is because of this, in the future I will learn to just build my own cabinets. read more

Went in Cabinets to go at the end of September a month after Harvey, waited 5 hours to finally speak with someone. Could not finish order because I needed the proper measurements...this was a Friday they put on paper work DO NOT ORDER. Husband we back the following Monday and placed the order and have it shipped to our home. Well after a month in a half had not heard anything from them tried calling, emailing and calling Corporate office still no reply back. So I go into the store had them pull up our paperwork and they never removed the DO NOT ORDER off our paper work after my husband came and gave proper measurements and PAYMENT for the order. Now it's supposed to be correct and NOW coming to the store. I'm ok but then I get a call from manager saying it's already on the delivery truck which is to be shipped on the 16th and I will be getting a call from them NOTHING....try calling Store NOTHING...CORPORATE....NOTHING!! So I'm on my way BACK up to the store. If you want a HEADACHE this is the place to go. Needed cabinets for an office build out so I called to see if they make appointments. The lady who answered said no, just come by. I stopped by and I saw two salesmen sitting at the desk with customers, neither one of them looked up at me or said anything to me so I decided to walk around the small showroom to see what they had to offer. I stumbled across a sign in sheet and sat down. One of salesman got up and walked right past me without saying a word and went to the back. I continued to wait and after 10 minutes decided to leave. Do not order from Cabinets to go if your items is not in stock Doing a kitchen remodeled for our new home and ordered a whole set of kitchen cabinets from them, most items were in stock but some were out of stock.Thought it would come in a couple of weeks later, did not know it would take 6 months and waiting. Kept calling and asking about the order, they said still waiting call back next week. It's been 6 months and still wating on the ones that are out of stock. Very difficult to have any parties with no cabinet doors and missing pieces. Whole kitchen remodeling is in a disarray. They have a horrible tracking and organization system, they don't have one. They don't know what is coming and when it is coming and when it gets there they have to find it and sort it and places it randomly in there storage, no organization, so it makes it difficult to get anything Don't order from them unless you make sure every piece is instock and ready to be delivered, if not you will not get them.
