ZERO Rating - If you're a homeowner wanting to replace your roof, you need to read this review.
In April 2025 we contracted CS Roofing Concepts to replace our roof under an insurance claim. Within one week of the roof installation, we seen visible issues all over our roof and we were told by a professional home inspector and a dryer vent company that we had serious problems with our entire roof, nails popping, shingles lifting up and not adhesiving, fisheyes or rippling thru-out the roof, missing shingles where no overlapping of shingles was made, ridge vent was not the correct size and was varping, new dryer vent installed did not meet the residential code, new attic breeze installed was leaking water, there were many leaks from this new roof installation and reported by a licensed home inspector. A/C company found a duravent cracked by new roof installation that would allow carbon monoxide gas to escape from our HVAC system (causing immediate danger to life), and in the coming winter months this gas could leak when the heater would have turned on, hot water piping to the roof vent was resting against the decking causing overheating on the wood and possible fire hazard and not up to code. By July 2025, after seeking legal advice, we replaced the roof with a different roofing company, who also found a lot of rotten decking sections that were not replaced, just ignored. We contacted the roofing company after 1 week in April 2025 and let them know of the roofing issues, and we made several requests for them to return to inspect the damages for themselves, by phone, by email, by text. We were holding back the insurance's recoverable depreciation check to them to get some attention to these issues. As time went by the damages got worse and worse, until we were left with no option but to replace the entire roof with another roofing company. This was a total loss and an expensive experience that NO CONSUMER should ever have to go through. There is no way to recover any of the money paid to the first roofer as the legal costs are far greater in the end and it can take years to resolve in court, therefore we ate these costs. The first roofer was "paid in full" because they put a lien on our house because we were holding back partial payment, and our lawyer told us to pay them whether or not we decide to take legal action. I want you the know that as much as we continuously asked for them to come to our house to see the damages during this time (April to July), they never came and eventually stopped all communication with my husband and would only communicate by email or recorded phone call, but never returned to see the damages, still to this day. There is so much more damages I could write, but I hope you get enough information to make your own decision to use them or not ... remember that we had many leaks after they installed a new roof in April 2025, and by July 2025, another company replaced the roof and rotten decking.
