The original roof was installed when the house was built and had some bad hail damage causing a need for replacement. The new roof looks great as you can see in my attached pictures. It was priced right in my insurance's price range and installed in a single day! Even my neighbors were impressed by the completion speed and the final look. It rained a few days after the installation and I had no leaks or issues. One thing that I was most impressed with was the concern to detail and great cleanup. My back mini porch overhang had its roof replaced too which was unexpected and thoughtful. The other above and beyond thing I saw is that they actually talked to my neighbors if they saw them during the installation and explained what was going on. Miguel the roofing manager even explained to my neighbors if debris went over the fence they would gladly pick it up or the neighbors could just toss it on my side and the roofers would take care of it. Thinking of others was clearly present in every member of the Xtreme Roofing team. When I met the owner Frank he explained the insurance process and worked with me during the entire process. I was thinking I had to get the roof immediately after making a claim but Frank explained everything to me and it gave me time to save up and get the roof done we I had the funds. Frank also scheduled me at difficult time when rain was happening often but he checks that weather like a Hawk to ensure the roofing is done in optimal conditions if possible. Now that I have a roof that is going to last for a few decades I have one less worry in my life. I know if I need roofing work in the future or have a family member needing it, I'm going with Xtreme Roofing!

Oh, the woes of cleaning up and repairing things after a hurricane…read more When an 80-foot pine tree came down during Hurricane Beryl, it took a bunch of our garage, trees, patio items and all of our back gutters with it. What a mess! I called The Gutterman out to give us an estimate before any of the structural repairs were even begun. Some of the gutters would be removed by our roofer/contractor, but some would have to be taken down when new ones were put up. We were given an estimate, broken down into sections so we could choose either all or parts of the gutters around our garage and the back of the house. Yes, it took a bit to get our actual estimate, and I was finally successful. We knew, though, that the gutters would be one of the last items to repair, so I was in no hurry. Once we calculated when structural repairs would begin, I physically went to their office, placed a down payment on the entire job and notified them that I would be in touch when we were 3 to 5 days out from needing the gutters installed. And, sure enough, when the majority of our repairs were completed and I called The Gutterman, they were here within days. All new gutters! We keep coming back to this business for several reasons: they are local, their gutter installation is superb and the gutters actually work with NO LEAKS. Prices are competitive, and since we've gone down the road with another gutter installation business that had to come out multiple times for repairs, it's just so much easier to start with The Gutterman and let the job be done right from the start.

When I asked them for a proposal they said they would email to me later. I asked them to stop the scheduling and have the crew call me to review the job scope and proposed solutions. Brad then texted me the proposal and I asked him to call me to review the plan. I suggested they come out and get on a ladder to assess the situation before offering solutions. They ultimately called back (3rd time same day) to schedule an assessment of the leak and vertical splash guards and informed me of a $200 assessment fee. This place is 1) poor with communication 2) poor with project planning 3) poor with customer service overall. I wish they had not wasted my time with these shenanigans.

I called back the next day as it wasn't originally made clear that it may take a while as she does not know the contractors schedule. I stated okay that is fine and she stated that she would get back with me. So I gave it a week and called the following Thursday to check to see if she was able to speak with the contractors. She cut me off and stated that she had left a voice message; however, I did not have a voicemail or even a missed call so I provided my number again. She stated that he had some availability in about a hour if I would be home. I said great and the guy showed up within the hour. He examined my window and stated that he would have to come back Friday or Saturday with a ladder to check out my roof. I stated great I will be home all day on both days. He stated the office would give me a call to set it up. I provided him with my number to make sure that they had the correct number on file. I never heard anything else and didn't even bother following up because of the poor customer service. If my house was too far, job too small or they were too busy I would rather be told that than ignored. Glad I was able to find another company that was able to repair my roof leak and sheetrock removal/replacement.

After inspecting on the roof, he reported that I had a couple of shingles that seemed to have been crushed on the edges, but were still in place, functional and not allowing any leaks.
