Got a haircut and blowout and I'm really happy with the results. My hair feels lighter, healthier, and the styling lasted for days. The stylist also gave helpful tips on hair care. read more

I can tell the staff are trying their best, but unfortunately their best fell far below the standard I would expect--even compared to what I could do at home. I specifically asked for a thorough, clean manicure and pedicure, but the result was excessive to the point that multiple fingers and toes were left bleeding from how aggressively the cuticles were handled. In addition, there didn't seem to be a clear method or attention to detail during the polish application. The paint was applied inconsistently, with more time spent correcting polish on my skin than actually applying it cleanly to the nails. As a result, the overall finish does not look clean or professional. I also noticed that this salon appears to operate under multiple different names within a larger salon, which raises some concerns about consistency and accountability. Overall, this was not the level of service I expected, and I hope this feedback is taken seriously to improve both technique and client care. read more

Visited here just last week while visiting Miami. My husband was in town for business meetings, and I tagged along. Day two I decided to get a pedicure. Cabellos had good reviews so I took a chance as a walk-in. Although the ladies spoke minimal English, they were so friendly about communicating with me and made me feel comfortable. The best part is that I got a fabulous pedicure at a reasonable price in the city read more

This review is for nails. Had a gel-builder manicure with Paola and gel pedicure with Sonia. Great work! Everyone was so friendly and was offered coffee or water as soon as I was seated. Both had amazing attention to detail. They used newly opened sanitized tools. Good color selection. The salon offers a full range of services including hair and waxing. Will be back for a trim and blowout and brows. Appointment was easy to make via text. My new go-to spot for nails! read more

The whole place was very friendly. I called last minute for a mani/pedi for my daughter and me before our cruise. They gave us an appointment for 90 minutes later which was perfect for us. It has a local vibe and most of the staff speaks limited english, but that didn't stop them from taking good care of us. Yulia took care of my awful finger and toe nails. I didn't catch the name of the woman who took care of my daughter, but they were both great. read more

I came in without an appointment and asked for a pedicure. I was on a mobility scooter and was asked if I could walk. I can walk, but, not up a flight of stairs. They told me they could do it at one of the nail stations. I wondered how it was going to work but figured with all the great reviews, they knew what to do. Well, not so much. It was the most uncomfortable, awkward and horrible pedicure I have ever had. Perhaps a regular pedicure, upstairs would have been different. read more

Nery is amazing, she was able to do exactly as I wanted and is the sweetest person! Definitely book ahead of time because they do get busy. The salon is next to a coffee shop so if you do happen to be waiting just grab a coffee. She understood what I needed and made sure I was happy with the process before she finished. Sometimes I go to other salons and they do what they want and then I end up hating the length or shape. One of my nails is a matte black and she was happy to do any request I wanted :) read more

Nails done pre cruise; last minute appt was no issue. Great job. Thank you so much,!!!

I searched on Yelp for a while until I finally made a decision to come to Cabellos Beauty Salon. The reviews (although mostly for hair) impressed me the most out of all the other salons I looked at that were close to the hotel I was staying at downtown. I called to make an appointment and the nice woman who answered the phone only spoke Spanish (of course) and had to ask another person to talk to me which was appreciated. The woman I spoke to was friendly and I was able to make an appointment to get a pedicure there in half an hour. So I gladly walked over. When I got there I was warmly greeted by a woman who confirmed who I was and the appointment I made. She asked me to pick a color from the nail polish wall and then lead me upstairs where there was a desk for manicures, 2 spa pedicure chairs, and a small sofa for maybe a waiting area. The woman started setting up the empty spa pedicure chair and so I sat down and she helped me settle in. The massage feature on the chair was broken :( Then she started working on my feet. I admitted that it had been a long time since my last pedicure (mucho tiempo no pedicure) and she smiled at my attempt to speak Spanish. After the spa and cleaning part of the pedicure we went back downstairs to the first desk for the polish/gel. My gel pedicure came out fine and I was pleased with the job Julia (I asked for her name and I think she said Julia) did. Note for anyone looking to come here for a pedicure or manicure: bring some AirPods or headphones to listen to something while they work on you. There is no music and only their conversations to listen to :) read more

The staff were super nice. However, I went in with powder dipped nails and asked them to remove before doing a gel mani and apparently only one tech knew how to remove them. They were arguing back and forth for a few minutes on who could do it and it was just weird. The gel manicure came out nice and the tech was so nice. Beware, for pedicures they paint your toes with your feet on their laps. Not sure if that's typical of Miami but definitely no where else's I've been does that. Nothing wrong with it I guess...again just weird read more

Perfect pedicure. My feet were in baaaaad shape after a vacation, we're talking ingrown toe nails, yuck! My nail tech Astrid was great. She just had magic hands, no pain whatsoever. Normally, my feet are also extremely ticklish, this pedicure was just relaxing all the way. Friendly service, the salon was clean and prices are cheaper than Brickell. I will definitely return. read more

Super nice staff & owner, loved their work and the finished product! First, let me start off by saying I called this place on a Saturday 20 mins after they opened asking for their availability for a last minute hair dye appt. They were booked but said they could squeeze me in which was SUPER nice of them! The place is really nice inside, clean and a great location if you live nearby (i walked here). The lady who took care of me was Pilar, def recommend her for hair, very professional and accommodating. Really glad I found this place! Recommend to all & will def be back. My hair color started at about $60, and nails start at $30 i believe. They do waxing, hair treatments, cuts & styling and nails. read more

While on a business trip in downtown Miami, I severely needed a cut and color! The salon was in close proximity to my hotel, so I chose it... I was not disappointed! Maria was my stylist. This is only for a mani & pedi with one particular employee whose name I did not get but may be a different experience with another. The mani and pedi was not done professionally. This review is only for nails. I can't speak on anything else. The staff is very warm and I loved my nail peeps however the products they use are not new. I was someone that went every 3 weeks religiously and noticed that the gel manicure wouldn't hold up like it use to. The reason I stopped going was because my last visit. My last visit my nails were done with gel nail polish that must have been old. My nails chipped within 3 days, terrible. And on the 4th day I went into the salon and showed them my nails and the owner was nice enough to refund me the money because the paint was old. I haven't gone back to the salon since. The staff was the only reason why I kept going for the last 2 months that I was going. Netty and Maria Jose were the sweetest and really took their time with me and loved them. read more

My daughter and I wanted to do a beauty day so I looked on yelp for salons less than 0.3 miles from home and stumbled across this gem! The service: Excellent! Both my 10 year old daughter and I had such a pleasant experience! I arrived on time and they immediately took me to get my hair washed and ready for my cut. I didn't catch the name of the young lady who washes hair but OMG! It's the most relaxing experience you will ever have! I have never had a wash and scalp massage like that! I sat with Fabian and he was extremely nice and professional. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he delivered! I was a bit nervous since I was going from waist hair length up to shoulder length and I was so nervous about cutting too much and hating it but he didn't fail me. He cut my hair to the exact length and style I wanted. My 10 year old daughter has very curly hair. I also was nervous about how he would cut her hair at the short length she wanted seeing she had a lot of hair! And I mean a lot! But once again, he delivered! She was so happy! She wouldn't stop taking selfies and wanting to pass by our family members house to show her new hair off. Thank you, Fabian! The Price: Im a little scared to brag about the extremely reasonable pricing cause they might increase it. LOL! Yep ladies and gents, it's that awesome!!! I had a was, cut and blow. My daughter had wash and cut and I paid $95 + Tip. Just my hair would have been $120 at other salons and $60 for my daughter. Over all I am more than satisfied with Cabellos and will absolutely recommend and return! read more

I am so delighted! Kelsey Turner did a fantastic job on my hair cut and such beautiful color - she listened to everything I said, and took such care and time with me. The salon was safe, and cute, and clean - and the staff was friendly. This was a fantastic experience and I will be back! read more

I look pretty and it is all because of the beauty team at Cabellos, and they have a point system so you can earn free services after a certain amount of visits. My only real issue is that it is terrible trying to find parking - so this place will only work if I am taking the metro mover that day. The place is pretty, clean and the staff professional. The prices are a bit high, but it is downtown, so the prices are comparable. I'll keep their card - glad to know there is a place close the job. read more

I've been to many salons in Miami and in Los Angeles but never have I been to a salon like this. One afternoon I woke up and felt really ugly and I had to treat myself so I could feel better. A friend of mine had told me about this particular location months ago but I never went until a couple weeks ago. I called the salon and they were free so I went in. I can't remember the person who did my pedicure and manicure but she was great. Took about an hour and a half (I requested longer massage times for both my hands and feet) I got a mini massage and my nails did all pretty. I will definitely be back for another mani pedi and maybe even a hair cut soon :) read more

Thank you, Pilar! I have curly hair - and some bad haircut experience. Pilar took the time to get to know my hair before my shampoo, spent as much time as I needed making sure my crazy, unpredictable hair was curling up/drying as I wanted. She never tried to convince me I should straighten it and never talked down to me about how it should look - why are hairdressers often so pompous? Anyway, it was a wonderful experience for a great price. Even without the groupon, you can get a wash & cut for $35 on M, T, W. I will go back. read more

Nery is the best! I had been looking for a place to regularly do my acrylics in the downtown area. My first time there Nery was completely accommodating and attentive. She is very professional and really does a FANTASTIC job with acrylics. Somehow, somewhere people ask me about my nails. I've never had any of the other services done but the rest of the staff is really nice and friendly. Oh! The place is also very clean and well kept. read more

Pilar was my stylist and she did a wonderful job on my hair. I came in with super long damaged hair from years of box dyes and she was able to make something beautiful out of it. She did a mix between an ombré and balayage on my hair. I completely love my new hair. Pilar was very understanding and wanted to listen to my opinions and was able to translate it well by the turnout of my hair. My cut and color was $210 and I tipped $40. It was worth it, thank you Pilar! read more
