We had a delicious meal, I got chicken salad this time, although I've been here several times and tried different meals. I'm so glad we did, they have really good chips and salsa and large menu to satisfy anyone's preference on Mexican food. I went with the fajita bowl, but did carne asada instead of chicken and it was delicious! It comes in a tostado bowl with meat, veggies, sour cream, guacamole, lettuce, rice and beans and it was huge! I couldn't even finish half of it, even if I really wanted to. My husband got the chimichangas with carne asada and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal as well. They unfortunately didn't have any mint for a mojito, but my friend got a blended strawberry margarita that looked refreshing (I cannot have tequila otherwise I wouldn't ordered one too). It's a small restaurant, but it has patio seating outside so our wait wasn't too long. The service is great, our waitress was friendly and the prices were fair. We don't travel to Madera often, but the next time we'll be visiting Cazadores.

We arrived in the plaza which it is literally right next to La Esperanza Market. The parking lot was so full we both assumed this place was packed. My co worker asked the worker why it was packed and the worker said the tax place. When we entered the restaurant it was very empty and we had our choice to sit anywhere. The menu items looked great and I opted to go for the spicy shrimp with water on the side. We got complementary chips and salsa which was good but a little spicy. The food came out timely. I really enjoyed myself here. My spicy shrimp dish was delicious however it had the perfect amount of spice to it. The rice and beans were good as well as the corn tortillas. It was not the best Mexican food I had in Madera but it was good to give it a try. I honestly would prefer my other Mexican spots in Madera but it's always nice to give new places a shot. My co worker had the shrimp dish as well but not spicy and she enjoyed it too. Just and FYI, they mainly speak Spanish so I was glad to have my Spanish speaking co worker there with me as my Spanish needs improvement :) overall I had a pleasant experience here however I may not be back as nothing wowed me. But it was good food and pleasant service.
