The spicy sauce on the tacos were spicy and had a nicely k to it. The barbacoa meat on the tacos had a lot of fat on it - not my fav thing. Carnitas were flavorful. I wasn't expecting to find a Mexican restaurant like this in a smaller town, but I'm glad we stopped by! We ordered the chicken flautas, al pastor quesadilla, and albondigas soup. The chicken flautas were good, but I felt like they were missing a little something. I think having some salsa or guacamole on the side would have made them even better, though the hot sauce they provided did the job. Unfortunately, the albondiga soup wasn't my favorite. I found it a little bland and wished it had more flavor. The real star of the meal was the al pastor quesadilla! The meat was incredibly flavorful and juicy, and it was so good that I still think about it. The ambiance was nice, with a theme that fit the restaurant well, making it a nice place to sit down and enjoy a meal. Our server was also really friendly, and the service was good overall. Overall, Pazuelas is a solid place to stop for a meal if you're passing through Oakhurst, especially on your way to Yosemite. Just make sure to try the Al Pastor quesadilla!
