I'm giving this place 3 stars simply because it took over 30 minutes to get our food once we ordered. The food itself was awesome. They served us chips when we sat down, which helped the wait. The burrito had hand made tortillas and everyone else's plates were great too. The place is small and gives a home town vibe spot. I went to Cecilia's restaurant today after church. 4/5 stars bc they didn't have the chile en aceite that is a must in my book for serving Mexican food. They do have tortillas hechas a mano which is a definite plus. My daughter got chilaquiles smothered in what looked like mozzarella cheese she honestly asked if it was spaghetti servers were polite and bilingual. Ambiance was warm and inviting. The breakfast burrito is to die for im not a fan of spice but the salsa really makes that burrito highly recommend with bacon!

The waitress was fabulous, very very kind and attentive. We went in specifically for menudo and pozole, which they did have. It was different than what we're used to. The pozole was made with beef and instead of cabbage as a garnish they gave lettuce. Would not order it again, but we will try the breakfast burritos next time. read more

What really stands out is the homemade flour tortilla--soft, fresh, and adds that perfect touch. I've had the chorizo and egg one, and it was definitely on the greasier side. My go to is simply eggs, beans and potatoes.My only wish is that the hot sauce had a bit more of a kick. The staff is kind and attentive, which makes the experience even better. We came here for breakfast and ordered a plate and a burrito. When the burrito came out, I knew I was in trouble. It was huge! (And that wasn't even the "big" burrito). Everything was juicy and not oily, especially given that chorizo can be pretty oily. The potato's are pan fried before going into your burrito and the added beans and cheese made for a monstrous meal! This was an unexpected treat! I'm pretty sure the locals know about this place, as we went in well before lunch and it was crowded. But we got a booth non the less. The service was quick, the food was great, and chips are home made! There really isn't anything bad about this place. I got my usual chili rellano and shredded beef taco combo. Beans and rice were great, chili was full of cheeese and breaded to perfection. The hard taco came on a hand made shell. This place is a little more Americanized than some, but it still has that traditional Mexican flavor you can taste. I'll give it a 5 star when I come back, and see if it is still as bomb as the first time. I'll be back! read more

I hadn't been here in a while, but I'm glad i stopped in. I ordered the combination Fajitas and they were good. The best part was the tortillas, both flour and corn, that were handmade. Other people at my table ordered the Sopes, which they liked a lot, and the carne asada quesadilla, which was tasty. The salsa was also pretty good. I was told by my daughter that this place is great. Last week I came just after 2:00 pm and was turned away due to a catering event. Today I called at 2:35pm to place a to-go order; the first call they didn't answer, I could hear them in background. They just hung up phone. I called again and was told they stop taking orders at 2:30pm. Okay; so when I asked last week I was told you normally close at 3:00pm. Really disappointed that I didn't get to try your food. In these difficult times businesses are struggling; you need to take care of your current customers and welcome new ones. They say third times the charm; in this case there will be no third time. Hubby ordered Chile Verde Burrito, and I had Chile Relleno and Shredded Beef Enchilada Combo; Rice and Beans were... just okay... maybe it was an off day. But, that said, I would like to try their Breakfast sometime. I love Mexican food. This place does not disappoint. Been coming here for a few years now and I'm happy to find they are open late now 6 days a week until 8pm mon- sat. All their meats are tender and full of flavor. I love their HOME MADE tortillas they have great texture and flavor. Chili is nice and spicy. I love their chili verde, flautas, quesadillas, crispy tacos, shredded chicken is a flavorful filling, tostadas, chili rellenos, enchiladas and of course their breakfast burritos (they come in size big and biggest !!) Brought my grandma and mom to this place that was a recommendation by my tia. I ordered the breakfast torta. Mom ordered macheda breakfast and grandma ordered Chile relleno. Everything was delicious. The wait was just tad over than usual BUT WORTH it! They have a HUGE menu. Every plate I seen come out the kitchen looked. Staff here was friendly and they took care of us in every way.
