Two enchiladas with rice and beans
    Linda A.

Sitting was quick. As soon as I walked in I sat down. Since I was on my lunch hour. Didn't know what to expect until I walked in. Really clean place. Small but perfect, right In the heart of downtown china town. Their salsa was a good start and the chips were the best, fresh, really good!!! I ordered two enchiladas/chicken plate. The beans and rice are just absolutely delicious. The chicken and enchilada sauce was just mouth watering tastefully amazing. Add some of the salsa on it for a hint and it's just a good mix in all. Not to say my plate came in minutes from ordering. Great service!! Bring your cash and be ready to eat some delicious authentic Mexican food!!

Located in Fresno's Chinatown Cuca's serves up delicious homemade Mexican food that brings back lots of nostalgia. The beans were definitely tasty, and the rice was perfect. We also had menudo that had hominy, it's hard to find places that have hominy in their menudo which I absolutely love in it. The 2 item combo was piping hot and made to perfection. This place does only accept cash as payment so please be aware of that. It's definitely a nice quiet spot to get breakfast in downtown, though I usually go to the Tower district location this place does not miss on their food.

Food is awesome here in the chinatown area, its small and outdated yes but the food makes up for the aesthetics. my go to is the enchiladas/soft taco combo and the salsa is very good, the enchilada sauce is key and be careful because the refried beans are nice and hot.

Ripped off Google maps street view. Will take pics on our next visit!

Went to Cuca's today for lunch. Awesome food! I ordered Steve's Special; Hard shell taco, Enchilada and Burrito. I opted for Shredded Beef in the Taco and Enchilada and Chile Colorado in the Burrito. All were very good, especially the Chile Colorado in the Burrito. I asked for a taste of the Menudo, and she gave me a generous taste. It's great. 7 day Menudo restaurant downtown....can't be bad. Great mexican food that tastes like your friend's mom made it. These people really care. We have a new favorite Mexican restaurant. We will be back!

Sunday brunch at Cuca's in China Town Fresno Ca. Menudo and Enchiladas with beans & rice. Best menudo in town! The Enchiladas were very tasty. Can't go wrong ordering these. I usually order the eggs with papas & chorizo with beans, which are my favorite. Come visit them.

My mom was amazed on how her chilaquiles in Migas were so delicious the first time she visited. I decided to join her this time to try them out. but was very very disappointed on how stale the tortillas were, no flavor what so ever. my mom was also disappointed we told our server about it but he didn't try and effort to re make our plate. Another disappointed thing i have to point out was how dirty every single corner is. i understand that this business is 25 + years old but come on you can clearly remove the dirt on chairs, walls and floors if it gets clean. This is a reason Mexican food has downgraded. OWNER do something to make it more pleasant to the custu

    Yummy menudo.....homemade!

It's tucked along a busy Fresno roadway, the kind of spot that might not catch your eye at first glance, but the moment you step out of your car and catch that mouthwatering aroma of grilled meat and spices, you instantly know you're in for something special. I ordered a few classics: lengua (beef tongue) taco, carne asada taco, and al pastor. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much -- but that first bite of the lengua taco completely blew me away. The beef tongue was cut to the perfect thickness, tender yet slightly chewy, and infused with a deep smoky flavor from the grill. The juices and fat blended beautifully, creating a rich, silky mouthfeel that was nothing short of stunning. Every bite was pure bliss -- the kind of taste that makes you want to order two more right away. Without exaggeration, it's the best lengua taco I've had in Fresno. The tortillas were another highlight. They weren't the dry, store-bought kind, but handmade with a fragrant corn aroma, lightly toasted with a bit of char around the edges. And the salsa? Absolutely fantastic. Each one was house-made -- the green salsa fresh and tangy, the red slightly sweet, and the spicy one wild and bold. The green salsa with the beef tongue taco was perfection -- the acidity cutting through the richness in perfect balance. The shop itself is small and simple, but bursting with life. The grill sizzles nonstop as the staff move quickly, slicing meat and serving tacos with practiced ease. The energy feels genuine and local -- full of warmth and rhythm. Most of the customers are regulars, chatting while they wait, and the air is filled with the intoxicating scent of grilled meat and roasted peppers. Prices are more than reasonable -- about $3-$4 per taco, generously filled and full of flavor. There's nothing pretentious about this place; it doesn't rely on trendy decor or fancy plating. Everything here is about honest, bold, unapologetically flavorful food -- smoky, juicy, and deeply satisfying.

Machaca breakfast burrito for the win!…read more I've been to Miguel's many times and I love literally everything on the menu and could drink their homemade salsas. With all my visits, I have never tried one of their breakfast burritos. I ordered a Machaca breakfast burrito and this baddie was huge. Fully loaded with eggs, cheese, and tons of machaca. Machaca is fried shredded beef mixed with onions and peppers and one of my favorite mexican breakfast dishes. Pair this burrito with their Taco Truck verde salsa or their Sunset Salsa, a medium salsa, and you'll be in beefy heaven. Order via DoorDash for pick up and it was ready at the exact time it was stated!

We went about 6 PM so not sure if going to a different time would've made a difference. The service was pretty good. There was only two people working. The gal that helped us didn't know how to add my points to their point system and had some issues with the register, she was OK. My wife has the chicken tacos I had the asada. We both left Mexican food, and we both feel that we are very fair when it comes to the food value and the taste. As far as the taste, the meat tacos were a little rough and gum like, probably from sitting out too long. The chicken tacos actually fell apart as my wife was eating them, and the chicken was very, very overcooked so again, probably sitting too long inside the burner. They do not have the right ABC license so you can't drink alcohol and eat hair even though you're sitting inside a liquor store. Overall an okay place, there's so many selections of Mexican food in Clovis, this one was so so.

My sister introduced me to this place, and I'm actually waiting on her to come back to visit so that we can take another trip back together (it's been a minute)! It's got diner vibes to me. Booths, seats at the front counter facing the kitchen, and a few more tables in the center. It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... I know where to go. They are cheese enchiladas-- served with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream.. sprinkled with cotija cheese. They also come with some bomb potatoes and your choice of chicken or steak-- we always go steak. Sooo good and the flavors are always on point! + They give complimentary chips and salsa-- very good. We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
