This is a small spot and wasn't too impressed. Basic selection and over priced. A lot of the succulents are insane type of soil mix which isn't good for certain types of succulents as they all have different needs mineral wise. Ps: its ok to say hi back. This is my first time visiting the shop. They have many beautiful succulent plants and the owner was very kind and introduced many plants to me. My 4-year old daughter had so much fun learning about the plants and came home with several small succulents that she loves. I would for sure visit the shop again and will encourage everyone to support the small business in our own Placentia. read more

This place has several succulents that would be perfect for my collection BUT BUT the owners are NOT friendly at all. OMG I feel so sorry for all those plants living with unfriendly people. I love this place! You can find beautiful air plants here! There's also a huge hoya that's over $300 and 7-10 years old. I'm def saving my money for that. Huge ones- so well taken care of. place is different. The owner knew a lot about their specialty plants and recommended soil/areas to place plants for them to thrive. This place is tucked out of the way, very simple, but has a great selection of indoor plants and succulents and the owners are super sweet. You can linger in there and browse and chat plants. Prices are reasonable (which gets me in trouble anyway because then I get too many plants :) Definitely go support this small business! read more

My new favorite succulent nursery. Autumn is one of the nicest and caring plant/succulent owners and you can tell she loves all her plant babies. The shop is adorably adorned with plants and succulents and it is where I purchased my pink variegated mother of mothers and my dream silver dollar plant! Autumn personally messaged me about what type of plant I had in mind and I was sold when I saw these! She also threw in rocks and sand and helped me choose which pots and saucers to take home. My new favorite place! The owners are so incredibly nice and helpful and really take care of their plants. I can't stress enough how much I discourage buying plants from big box stores (like Home Depot). They are in poor condition and you could bring home pests. Took me a while to get to my review of CA Succulent Garden and I'm so glad I caught them during their last month as an in-store shop - but don't worry they are active and awesome in their Etsy shop as well! I communicated with the gentleman store owner (which I never got the name of!!) through texts and the info was concise and thorough. I requested a bunch of different airplants which Autumn was able to procure for me even though I ended up with just 2: T. Duratii and T. Harisii. It's been a few weeks and they're both thriving in my SW light window. Their passion and professionalism are palpable. I would go to them again for airplants. read more

I was recommended to go here by and a friend and happen upon this quaint place from a quick Google search. It was a bit hard to find at first with no sign, but you can see all the plants and greenery outside to signal "I AM HERE!!" I walked in and was immediately greeted by the owner, she's so nice and likes to chalk up convo. I loved talking and seeing their assortment of plants! I fell in love with their string of hearts and their lithops. They take really good care of their plants and you can definitely tell. I can't wait to come back for more! Definitely come here and show this place some love. If you don't feel anything from their in-store selection, the owner has told me they have an Etsy and Ebay as well with an array of houseplants to choose from. read more

Yesterday afternoon I went to their establishment and was graciously greeted by the owner and her son. They were masked and followed Covid guidelines! They were very knowledgeable, helpful, patient with my questions and wants. They have an excellent selection of various sizes and shapes of Succulents! I was pleasantly surprised by some very unique species never seen before plants. They have nice selection of hanging planters! I bought three plants. One hanger goldfish succulent and two smaller potted plants. I plan to visit them at least once every two weeks. They get new plants each week! You definitely need to pay them a visit if you are interested in excellent selection of Succulents!!! read more

Review 5-6 months later: I came here when the first opened months back because I saw this beauty posted on FB Marketplace. It was about 3-3.5ft tall initially and bought for $70-75, with the wood climbing hoop (pot bought elsewhere). In 5 months it's grown about 3ft, had no mites or thrips, and only experienced some leaf loss on the bottom due to my over/under-watering and excess humidity. I've gotta say that the owners were really kind (though she didn't know the names and care guide of some plants I asked about), and had even followed up with me months later to let me know that they finally had a 6" maidenhair fern that I inquired about. I haven't been back since I live far and had already found what I was looking for, but wanted to leave an actual review this time! read more

Small little shop but great specialty succulent selection - owner/operator really knows her stuff and made some excellent recommendations.

The staff were extremely nice and had a wide selection of interesting plants. got a large calathea for 20$! hidden location but worth it
